PDRN and hyaluronic acid mesotherapy / biorevitalisation skin booster
Description
Crystal Hydro PDRN is an injectable skin booster combining polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN), non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and niacinamide to provide intensive hydration, regeneration and anti-ageing effects. Supplied as a box containing 3 sterile pre-filled 2.2 mL syringes, it is designed for professional mesotherapy / biorevitalisation treatments to improve skin tone, elasticity and radiance while helping to reduce the visible signs of photo- and chrono-ageing.
Bnefits
- Provides deep hydration via 20 mg/mL non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, restoring moisture to dehydrated skin.
- Stimulates cell regeneration and tissue repair through PDRN (2 mg/mL), supporting dermal matrix renewal.
- Improves skin elasticity and firmness by enhancing extracellular matrix quality and fibroblast activity.
- Niacinamide (1 mg/mL) helps brighten skin, even tone and support the skin barrier.
- Balances the inner skin layers, contributing to smoother, more uniform skin texture.
- Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, expression lines and other age-related changes.
- Supports improvement in clinical manifestations of acne and post-inflammatory changes when used as part of a professional protocol.
- Promotes overall anti-ageing effects with increased radiance and smoothness of skin tone.
Indications
- Age-related skin changes and dry, dehydrated skin.
- Weak or compromised skin barrier function.
- Uneven pigmentation and dull complexion.
- Expressed worry lines and other facial wrinkles.
- Fading or sagging skin of the face and neck.
- Clinical manifestations of acne and post-acne changes (as part of an overall treatment plan).
- Skin with signs of photo-ageing and chrono-ageing.
Composition
- Hyaluronic Acid (non-cross-linked): 20 mg/mL.
- Niacinamide (vitamin B3): 1 mg/mL.
- Polydeoxyribonucleotide (PDRN): 2 mg/mL.
- Sodium Chloride: 7.6 mg/mL.
- Sodium phosphate monobasic dihydrate: 0.78 mg/mL.
- Dibasic sodium phosphate dihydrate: 0.89 mg/mL (per IFU).
- Purified Water: q.s. 1 mL.
Formulation
- Sterile, clear injectable solution in pre-filled 2.2 mL syringes.
- Combination of PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) derived from Salmonidae fish, non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.
- Intended for subcutaneous / intradermal injection by trained medical professionals as a mesotherapy / biorevitalisation skin booster.
- Packaged for single-patient use; do not re-sterilise or reuse.
Packaging
- Box containing 3 pre-filled syringes, each with 2.2 mL of Crystal Hydro PDRN solution (total 6.6 mL per box).
- Each syringe supplied sterile and intended for single use only.
- Box typically includes an instruction leaflet (IFU) detailing indications, composition, contraindications and directions for use.
- Outer packaging labelled with product name, batch/lot number, expiry date and storage conditions.
Usage
- For professional use only; must be administered by appropriately trained and qualified medical / aesthetic practitioners.
- Ensure the treatment area is thoroughly cleansed with soap and water, then swabbed with alcohol or another suitable antiseptic.
- Crystal Hydro PDRN is typically administered using a thin-wall 30–32G needle.
- Use linear threading, serial puncture or a combination of both techniques to achieve the desired level of correction.
- Inject into the subcutaneous tissue plane or superficially into the dermis as per the official instructions and clinical judgement.
- Avoid overly superficial injections, as this may lead to visible lumps and/or skin discoloration.
- Massage the treated area gently after injection so the product conforms to the surrounding tissue and to reduce the risk of irregularities.
- If further correction is required, repeat treatment following the same protocol until a satisfactory result is obtained.
- In patients with localised swelling, the degree of correction can be difficult to assess immediately; a touch-up session may be scheduled after 1–2 weeks.
- Following the initial treatment, an additional treatment 1–2 weeks later may be necessary to achieve the desired level of correction; subsequent maintenance sessions can be planned by the practitioner.
- Patients should avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (including aspirin) in the two weeks prior to treatment where possible, due to an increased risk of bruising.
- Standard post-injection care should be followed: avoid excessive heat, sun exposure, vigorous exercise and manipulation of the treated area for the period recommended by the practitioner.
Contraindications
- Use in patients with autoimmune connective tissue diseases is not recommended unless specifically assessed and approved by a physician.
- Do not use in infected areas or non-vascular surgical sites unless specifically prescribed by a physician.
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid, PDRN, niacinamide, phosphate buffers or any other component of the formulation.
- Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data.
- Do not inject into periocular lines or for glabellar contouring according to IFU precautions.
- Avoid use in patients with active skin infections, inflammation, dermatitis or open wounds at or near the intended injection site.
- Patients on substances that reduce coagulation (e.g. aspirin and other NSAIDs, anticoagulants) may be at increased risk of bruising and bleeding and should be assessed carefully.
- Use with caution in immunosuppressed patients or those receiving immunosuppressive therapy.
Adverse Effects
- Common injection-site reactions such as redness (erythema), swelling, bruising, tenderness or mild pain.
- Temporary lumps, nodules or unevenness, particularly if the product is injected too superficially or not adequately massaged.
- Transient discoloration or blanching at the injection site; injection should be stopped immediately if blanching occurs and the area massaged until normal colour returns.
- Risk of infection at the injection site if aseptic technique is not strictly followed.
- Rare hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to one or more components of the product.
- As with all injectable treatments, very rare risk of vascular occlusion or ischaemic complications if inadvertently injected intravascularly.
Storage Conditions
- Store at controlled room temperature, typically between 1 °C and 30 °C as indicated by the manufacturer.
- Do not freeze.
- Protect from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
- Keep in the original packaging until use to maintain sterility and protect from physical damage.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the package.
Duration
Typically performed as a series of sessions; initial treatment followed by one or more additional treatments after 1–2 weeks, with maintenance sessions scheduled according to the practitioner’s protocol and the patient’s skin condition. Each session is completed in a single visit.
Onset
Hydration and skin plumping effects may be noticed shortly after treatment, while improvements in texture, elasticity and overall skin quality generally develop over days to weeks and accumulate over a course of repeated sessions.
