Hyaluronic acid bio-revitalising gel

Description

EJAL 40 Bio-Revitalising Gel is an advanced injectable skin booster formulated with 40 mg/2 ml of high or medium molecular weight, non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid. It is designed for facial and body biorevitalisation to deeply hydrate the skin, improve elasticity and firmness, and restore dermal density by restructuring the extracellular matrix and stimulating fibroblast activity. The treatment targets early and visible signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, dullness, and loss of tone, delivering natural-looking rejuvenation with minimal downtime when administered by trained professionals. It is suitable for areas including the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.

Bnefits

• Deeply hydrates the skin thanks to high-concentration hyaluronic acid (40 mg/2 ml)

• Reduces wrinkles and fine lines and softens early signs of ageing
• Evens skin tone and enhances overall radiance and skin quality
• Revitalises damaged, photo-aged, or dull-looking skin
• Stimulates fibroblasts and supports new collagen and elastin formation

Usage

• For professional use only. EJAL 40 must be administered by suitably trained and certified medical or aesthetic practitioners experienced in injectable treatments.
• Inject intradermally into the superficial to mid dermis using appropriate techniques such as mesotherapy or the 4-point bio-revitalisation (4-BRP) technique.
• Typical protocol for face: perform a course of 3 treatment sessions spaced approximately 2–4 weeks apart, injecting small aliquots at predefined points on each side of the face; similar principles may be applied to neck, décolletage, and hands according to training and clinical judgment.
• Use a fine needle (e.g., 30G) supplied with the product and maintain strict aseptic technique throughout the procedure.
• Do not inject into blood vessels, bones, tendons, ligaments, or muscles; avoid injection into areas with active skin disease or infection.
• After injection, gentle massage may be performed if recommended by the protocol to help distribute the product evenly, avoiding excessive pressure.
• Post-treatment, advise patients to avoid makeup for at least 12–24 hours on treated areas and to refrain from touching or rubbing the sites.
• Recommend avoiding excessive sun or UV exposure, saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, and intense exercise for several days after treatment, and using high-SPF sun protection.
• The syringe is for single-patient use only and any unused product must be discarded; do not resterilise or reuse.

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid or any of the excipients in the formulation
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Patients under 18 years of age
• Active skin infections, inflammatory skin conditions, or open lesions at or near the injection sites (e.g., bacterial, viral, fungal infections)
• Severe or uncontrolled systemic disease (e.g., poorly controlled diabetes, significant autoimmune disorders) unless specifically assessed and cleared by a physician
• Known tendency to hypertrophic scars or keloids in the treatment area
• History of severe allergic reactions or anaphylaxis
• Current anticoagulant therapy, bleeding disorders, or coagulation abnormalities where injections may increase bleeding or bruising risk without prior risk–benefit assessment
• Any condition in which intradermal injection is medically inappropriate in the judgment of the treating professional

Adverse Effects

• Common transient injection-site reactions such as redness (erythema), swelling, oedema, tenderness, and mild pain or discomfort
• Small papules, bumps, or nodules at injection points that usually resolve within hours to a few days
• Bruising or small haematomas at the injection sites
• Temporary itching, warmth, or sensation of tightness in the treated area
• Less commonly, persistent induration or palpable nodules requiring clinical review
• Rarely, local infection at the injection site (e.g., cellulitis or abscess) requiring medical treatment
• Rare hypersensitivity or allergic reactions to hyaluronic acid or excipients, including delayed inflammatory responses
• Very rare but serious: vascular compromise or occlusion if injected intravascularly or with compression of blood vessels, which constitutes a medical emergency and must be managed according to recognised filler complication protocols

Storage Conditions

• Store in the original blister and outer carton in accordance with the temperature limits specified on the packaging (typically controlled room temperature).
• Protect from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
• Do not freeze.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date or if the sterile blister or syringe is damaged or previously opened.

Duration

A standard treatment course generally consists of 3 sessions spaced about 2–4 weeks apart. Results typically last around 3–6 months depending on age, skin condition, and lifestyle factors. Many protocols recommend repeating a full course 2–3 times per year, or performing maintenance sessions every 3–6 months as determined by the treating clinician.

Onset

Initial improvements in hydration and skin radiance may be visible within days to a few weeks after the first session, with more noticeable changes in elasticity, fine lines, and skin texture typically evident after 2–3 sessions (approximately 4–8 weeks from treatment start).
