Injectable skin booster / dermal biorevitaliser
Description
Jalupro Super Hydro is an advanced injectable biorevitaliser and skin booster from the Jalupro range, specifically designed for deep dermal hydration and structural support. It combines a high concentration of hybrid, non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (low and high molecular weight) with a targeted complex of 7 amino acids and 3 biomimetic peptides. This synergistic formula provides intensive hydration, stimulates fibroblasts, promotes new collagen and elastin synthesis and reinforces the retaining ligaments and deep connective tissue. The result is improved skin density, elasticity and tone, a lifting-like effect without adding bulk, and visible reduction in fine lines, early sagging and signs of photo-ageing. Jalupro Super Hydro is indicated for the face and selected body areas and is positioned as a next-generation regenerative skin booster, particularly suitable for mature, severely dehydrated or structurally weakened skin.
Bnefits
- Delivers deep and long-lasting hydration due to a high concentration (around 3.2%, 80 mg/2.5 ml) of hybrid low- and high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid.
- Improves skin density, firmness and elasticity by stimulating fibroblasts and promoting new collagen and elastin synthesis.
- Provides a subtle lifting and contouring effect by targeting and reinforcing facial retaining ligaments and deep connective tissue, helping to counteract sagging and ptosis.
- Softens and reduces the appearance of fine lines, superficial wrinkles and early laxity without the volumising effect of traditional fillers.
- Improves the appearance of photo-damaged, dull and tired skin by enhancing brightness, texture and overall skin quality.
- Helps restore the structural integrity and hydration of severely dry or environmentally stressed skin (sun, pollution, smoking).
- Can be safely combined with other aesthetic treatments (e.g. radiofrequency, lasers, microneedling, fillers, botulinum toxin) as part of a comprehensive rejuvenation plan.
- Provides results that typically last up to around 6–9 months, depending on age, skin condition and lifestyle, with a good safety and tolerability profile when used correctly.
Indications
- Moderate to advanced photo-ageing and chrono-ageing of the face and selected body areas.
- Loss of skin firmness, elasticity and support with early or moderate sagging and ptosis.
- Fine lines and superficial wrinkles, particularly in areas prone to movement and volume loss.
- Severely dehydrated, dry or devitalised skin needing intensive and long-lasting hydration.
- Dull, tired or uneven skin tone and texture lacking radiance and vitality.
- Skin structurally weakened by sun exposure, pollution, smoking or other lifestyle factors.
- Support and reinforcement of facial retaining ligaments and deep connective tissue to improve contours and skin positioning.
- Biorevitalisation and deep hydration of the face, neck, décolleté, and where appropriate hands or other areas as per professional judgement.
Composition
- Hyaluronic acid (hybrid, non-crosslinked) – total 80 mg per 2.5 ml syringe (approx. 3.2%):
- • Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (~200 kDa) for immediate, superficial hydration.
- • High molecular weight hyaluronic acid (~2000 kDa) for deeper, long-term hydration and structural support.
- Amino acid complex (7 amino acids):
- • Glycine
- • L-Proline
- • L-Lysine
- • L-Leucine
- • L-Valine
- • L-Alanine
- • L-Arginine
- Peptide complex (3 biomimetic peptides):
- • Acetyl Decapeptide-3 (biomimetic growth factor-like peptide for fibroblast stimulation and cell renewal).
- • Oligopeptide-24 (also reported as a fibroblast-stimulating peptide supporting collagen and elastin synthesis).
- • Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5 (anti-oedema, anti-glycation peptide that improves elasticity and softness while protecting collagen).
- Other components:
- • Mannitol (antioxidant, helps reduce free-radical damage and protects hyaluronic acid).
- • Sodium chloride, phosphate buffer and water for injection.
- • Other standard excipients as listed in the official instructions for use.
Formulation
- Sterile, resorbable injectable solution for intradermal implantation, classed as a biorevitaliser / regenerative skin booster.
- Hybrid, non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (HA) at high concentration (80 mg/2.5 ml), combining low and high molecular weights for multi-layer hydration and support.
- Amino Acid Replacement Therapy (ART): targeted blend of 7 amino acids providing raw material for collagen and elastin synthesis.
- Biomimetic peptide complex designed to enhance fibroblast proliferation, protect collagen from glycation and support extracellular matrix renewal.
- Non-volumising formulation: diffuses through the tissue to provide hydration, structural support and collagen stimulation without the bulk of crosslinked fillers.
Packaging
- Standard presentation: 1 prefilled glass syringe containing 2.5 ml of Jalupro Super Hydro solution.
- Syringe fitted with Luer-lock system; needles are typically not included and must be sourced separately (commonly 27G or 29G recommended, according to distributor guidance).
- Supplied in a branded outer carton containing the prefilled syringe, package insert and traceability labels.
- Outer carton clearly marked with product name, batch number, expiry date, manufacturer details and regulatory/device information.
Usage
- For professional use only; Jalupro Super Hydro must be administered by trained and qualified healthcare professionals in an appropriate clinical setting.
- Perform a full medical and aesthetic assessment, including skin type, degree of ageing, contraindications and patient expectations; obtain informed consent.
- Cleanse and disinfect the treatment area; mark injection points as per chosen protocol.
- Typical protocol for face uses 6+1 key injection points in the retaining ligaments and chin area (approximately 0.2 ml at each ligament point and 0.1 ml at the chin), but injection patterns may be customised to indication and anatomy.
- Inject into the deep dermis or sub-dermal plane over the retaining ligaments using a suitable needle (often 27G or 29G) or cannula, according to training and manufacturer guidance.
- Administer small boluses or micro-deposits at each point, ensuring slow injection and careful aspiration where appropriate to reduce vascular risk.
- After injection, gently massage the treatment area if required to encourage even diffusion without excessive pressure.
- Standard treatment course is usually 2 sessions spaced approximately 3–4 weeks apart; some practitioners may add a third session based on clinical response.
- Maintenance treatments are typically recommended every 6–9 months or as clinically indicated to sustain results.
- Post-treatment, advise the patient to avoid makeup on treated areas for at least 12–24 hours, intense exercise, saunas/steam rooms, alcohol excess and significant heat or sun exposure for several days.
- Emphasise daily use of broad-spectrum high-SPF sunscreen and appropriate skincare to optimise and maintain outcomes.
- Dispose of any remaining product after treatment; the syringe is single-use and must not be reused or resterilised. Discard used needles and syringes in approved sharps containers according to local regulations.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid, any of the listed amino acids (glycine, L-proline, L-lysine, L-leucine, L-valine, L-alanine, L-arginine), peptides or any excipients in the formulation.
- Active skin infections, inflammatory dermatoses, open wounds or herpetic lesions at or near the intended injection sites.
- History of severe anaphylactic reactions or serious systemic allergy to injectable products unless thoroughly evaluated and cleared by a specialist.
- Uncontrolled autoimmune diseases or significant immunosuppression where biorevitalising injections are considered inappropriate by the treating physician.
- Known bleeding disorders or current significant anticoagulant/antiplatelet therapy without appropriate assessment and periprocedural management.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding, due to lack of sufficient safety data (use is generally not recommended).
- Recent aggressive dermatologic procedures (deep chemical peels, ablative lasers, dermabrasion, etc.) in the target area that have not fully healed or fall within a contraindicated time window.
- Known tendency to keloid or hypertrophic scarring in areas planned for injection, unless benefits clearly outweigh risks and the patient is fully informed.
- Inability or unwillingness to adhere to post-treatment aftercare, especially with regard to sun protection and follow-up.
Adverse Effects
- Common transient injection-site reactions such as redness (erythema), swelling, tenderness, itching, warmth and mild pain.
- Small papules or localised bumps at injection points, which typically resolve over hours to a few days as the product diffuses.
- Bruising or ecchymosis, particularly in more vascular regions or patients receiving anticoagulant/antiplatelet therapies.
- Temporary irregularities, mild asymmetry or feeling of tightness in treated areas, usually resolving as oedema subsides.
- Less common events include prolonged erythema, localised oedema or mild inflammatory reactions requiring symptomatic management.
- Rare hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, potentially including more severe swelling, erythema, pruritus or systemic symptoms; these require prompt medical evaluation.
- As with all injectable hyaluronic acid treatments, very rare but serious complications such as vascular occlusion, tissue necrosis, infection or granuloma formation may occur and must be managed urgently according to established aesthetic medicine protocols.
Storage Conditions
- Store in a cool, dry place at a controlled temperature, typically between 2 °C and 25 °C, as specified on the packaging.
- Do not freeze the product.
- Keep the prefilled syringe in its original outer carton to protect from light and contamination until time of use.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the carton and syringe.
- Once the syringe is opened and used for injection, any remaining product must be discarded; it is intended for single-patient, single-session use only.
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children and unauthorised persons.
Duration
A typical initial course consists of 2 treatment sessions spaced about 3\u20134 weeks apart, with clinical improvements often persisting for approximately 6\u20139 months depending on skin condition, age and lifestyle. Maintenance sessions are generally recommended once or twice per year, or as required by the treating practitioner, to sustain hydration, firmness and structural support.
Onset
Patients often notice improved hydration, radiance and softness within days to a couple of weeks after the first session. Visible enhancement in skin density, elasticity, contour definition and fine lines generally becomes more apparent over the weeks following the second treatment, as collagen and extracellular matrix remodelling progresses. Results then gradually plateau and are maintained for several months before slowly diminishing.
