Facial Fat Dissolving Injection
Description
Lipo Lab V-Line is an injectable facial fat-dissolving solution formulated to contour and slim the lower face. Using phosphatidylcholine, sodium deoxycholate, and a complex of plant extracts, vitamins and amino acids, it targets localised fat in areas such as the jawline, double chin and cheeks to create a more defined V-shaped facial profile with lifting and tightening benefits.
Bnefits
- Targets localised fat deposits in the jawline, chin, cheeks and neckline to refine the V-line facial contour.
- Destroys fat cells rather than simply shrinking them, supporting longer-lasting contouring results when lifestyle is maintained.
- Supports skin tightening and elasticity for a smoother, more lifted appearance.
- Promotes cell regeneration and skin rejuvenation, leaving skin smoother and more elastic.
- Helps stimulate lymphatic circulation and reduce local swelling in the treated area.
- Minimally invasive, non-surgical alternative to facial liposuction with relatively short downtime.
Indications
- Reduction of localised facial fat in the lower face.
- Double chin (submental fat) reduction.
- Jawline contouring and V-line definition.
- Cheek and "hamster cheek" slimming.

- Adjunct treatment in patients seeking non-surgical facial slimming in areas resistant to diet and exercise.

- Typical technique: inject approximately 0.1–0.2 cc per point at about 5 mm depth with injection points spaced around 1 cm apart, adjusting to anatomy and clinical judgement.
- Number of sessions: commonly 2–4 treatment sessions are recommended for optimal results, based on the amount and distribution of fat.
- Session interval: protocols vary; some distributors recommend short intervals (e.g. around 3 days), while manufacturer-level guidance describes multiple sessions spaced several weeks apart—practitioners should follow the latest manufacturer instructions and local clinical guidelines.
- Monitor the patient during and after injection for pain, blanching, disproportionate swelling or other signs of vascular or nerve compromise.
- Provide standard post-treatment advice, including avoidance of heat, strenuous exercise and massage on the treated area for a short period as per local protocol.
- Always follow the instructions for use provided with the product and adhere to local regulations and scope of practice.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to phosphatidylcholine, sodium deoxycholate, plant extracts, vitamins, amino acids, hyaluronate or any other component of the formulation.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Active skin infection, inflammation, dermatitis or open wounds in or near the intended injection site.
- Severe systemic illness or uncontrolled chronic disease without specialist assessment.
- Significant liver, kidney or immune system disorders unless carefully evaluated and cleared by a physician.
- Current severe bleeding disorders or use of strong anticoagulant/antiplatelet therapy without appropriate risk assessment.
- History of severe allergic reactions or anaphylaxis to injectable products.
- Unrealistic expectations or inability to comply with recommended aftercare.
Adverse Effects
- Common transient reactions: local swelling, redness, bruising, warmth and tenderness at the injection site.
- Temporary induration, nodules or lumpiness in the treated area as fat breaks down.
- Mild itching or discomfort.
- Short-term sensitivity or tightness in the lower face or neck region.
- Less common: prolonged swelling, uneven contouring or asymmetry possibly requiring further management.
- Rare but serious: infection, allergic reaction, prolonged pain, nerve irritation or damage, and significant inflammatory responses that require medical attention.
Storage Conditions
- Store in accordance with the storage instructions on the original packaging and vial labels.
- Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
- Do not freeze.
- Keep vials in their original box until use to maintain protection and traceability.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
- Discard any vial with compromised integrity or visible defects in solution.
Duration
Initial visible improvements are usually reported within 2–4 weeks after the first session, with full results developing over approximately 6–8 weeks as dissolved fat is cleared. Destroyed fat cells in treated areas are considered long-lasting or permanent, provided body weight and lifestyle are maintained, although new fat accumulation remains possible.
Onset
Early contouring changes typically become noticeable within 2–4 weeks after treatment as lipolysis progresses and swelling subsides.
