Description

Usage

  • For subcutaneous injection by suitably trained and licensed medical or aesthetic professionals only.
  • Before use, shake vials well to disperse any settled particles and ensure a homogeneous solution.
  • Inject into the subcutaneous fat layer, avoiding penetration into muscle; incorrect depth may result in pain and fever.
  • Manufacturer body protocol example: for abdomen/waist, inject approximately 0.05–0.2 ml per point into the fat layer, spacing injection points about 1 cm apart; adjust dosage according to the degree of obesity and fat layer thickness.
  • Recommended total amount per treatment is generally up to one 10 ml vial for a given area, depending on body size and clinical judgment.
  • Treatments are typically repeated 2–3 times at approximately 15-day intervals for optimal circumference reduction, according to manufacturer guidance.
  • Specific point-dosage examples from manufacturer: upper arm fat 0.01–0.05 ml or less per point; abdomen/waist 0.05–0.2 ml or less; hip 0.05–0.15 ml or less per point.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to phosphatidylcholine (including soy-derived PPC), sodium deoxycholate, L-carnitine, peptides, growth factors, vitamins or any other component of the solution.
  • Documented allergy to soybeans or soybean-derived products (PPC is commonly derived from soy).
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Atopic dermatitis, active dermatitis, eczema or other inflammatory skin diseases at or near the intended treatment area.
  • Active infection, open wounds or significant skin damage in the treatment area.
  • Serious underlying medical conditions including, but not limited to, significant heart disease, uncontrolled diabetes, active cancer, history of stroke or advanced arteriosclerosis, without specialist evaluation and clearance.
  • Severe hepatic, renal or metabolic disorders, unless carefully assessed by a physician.
  • Bleeding disorders or concurrent use of potent anticoagulant/antiplatelet medicines without appropriate risk assessment.
  • History of severe allergic reactions or anaphylaxis to injectable products.
  • Use on areas below the knees or in regions with densely concentrated nerves, as cautioned by the manufacturer.
  • Patients with unrealistic expectations or those unsuitable for non-surgical body contouring procedures.

Adverse Effects

  • Common transient reactions at injection sites: redness, swelling, warmth, tenderness and bruising.
  • Temporary pain or burning sensation during and shortly after injection.
  • Localised induration, firmness, nodules or lumpiness as fat cells break down and tissue remodels.
  • Mild itching, tingling or discomfort in the treated area.
  • Temporary feeling of heaviness, tightness or mild feverish sensation in some patients.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a dark place away from direct sunlight at a temperature generally between about 5–30 °C, according to distributor and label guidance.
  • Keep vials in their original packaging until use to protect from light and contamination.
  • Once opened, unused product should be sealed and refrigerated at approximately 5–10 °C and used within the time frame stated by the manufacturer (e.g. within 7 days), or discarded according to clinic policy.
  • Do not freeze the product.
  • Do not use the solution after the expiry date indicated on the vial or outer packaging.
  • Do not use if the vial, stopper or cap is damaged, or if the solution appears discoloured, cloudy or contains particulate matter.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
