Biostimulatory Dermal Fillers
Description
NEAUVIA STIMULATE MAN (1x1ml) is a pegylated, biodegradable, crosslinked hyaluronic acid dermal filler created specifically for men for biostimulation and lifting. With one of the highest available concentrations of crosslinked hyaluronic acid (28 mg/ml) combined with 1% calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) and the amino acids glycine and L-proline, it restores volume, fills deep skin depressions and wrinkles (including nasolabial folds) and stimulates collagen production. Crosslinking with PEG and the small CaHA particle size (8–12 microns) provide high viscoelasticity, stability and low risk of particle migration, making it particularly suitable for thicker, rapidly ageing male skin.
Bnefits
- Specifically formulated for male patients, taking into account thicker skin and different ageing patterns.
- Double action: immediate filling of tissue deficits and long-term biostimulation of collagen.
- High concentration of hyaluronic acid (28 mg/ml) offers strong volumising capacity and long-lasting correction.
- 1% calcium hydroxyapatite provides additional stimulation of fibroblasts and neocollagenesis for durable improvement in skin quality.
- High viscoelasticity of the hydrogel allows effective lifting, shaping and adaptation to male tissues.
- Small CaHA particle size (8–12 microns) and uniform distribution within the PEG-crosslinked HA hydrogel help prevent migration and ensure product stability.
- Slow biodegradation supports long-lasting aesthetic results.
- Designed for restoration of volume, filling of deep wrinkles and folds, face volumising and sagging skin correction in men.
Indications
- Biostimulation and lifting in male patients.
- Restoration of facial volume in areas affected by age-related lipoatrophy.
- Filling of skin depressions, including deep wrinkles and nasolabial folds.
- Treatment of sagging skin and loss of facial contours.
- Face volumising in men (e.g. midface, cheeks, jawline) where strong structural support is required.
Composition
- Hyaluronic acid 28 mg/ml, crosslinked with PEG polymer.
- 1% calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) with particle size 8–12 microns.
- Amino acids: Glycine.
- Amino acids: L-Proline.
- Highly purified, non-animal origin sodium hyaluronate base (Neauvia platform).
- No BDDE crosslinker (PEG crosslinking instead of BDDE).
Formulation
- Biodegradable, PEG-crosslinked hyaluronic acid hydrogel (Smart Cross-Linking Technology).
- High-viscoelasticity, high-cohesivity monophasic gel designed for male facial tissues.
- Enriched with 1% CaHA for additional collagen stimulation and tissue support.
- Contains glycine and L-proline, main amino acid components of collagen, to enhance biostimulatory effect.
- Slowly resorbed over time, providing long-lasting volumisation and lifting.
- Sterile, pyrogen-free, single-use injectable filler for intradermal/subdermal implantation.
Packaging
- 1 pre-filled 1 ml glass syringe of NEAUVIA STIMULATE MAN.
- Syringe fitted with Luer lock connection.
- Usually supplied with sterile needles/cannulae appropriate for injection (exact configuration may vary by distributor).
- Individual carton including instructions for use and traceability labels.
Usage
- For medical use only; injection must be performed by suitably trained healthcare professionals experienced in dermal fillers and familiar with male facial anatomy.
- Before treatment, take a complete medical history, assess the indication and rule out contraindications; obtain informed consent.
- Clean and disinfect the treatment area and maintain strict aseptic technique throughout the procedure.
- Attach an appropriate needle or cannula to the pre-filled syringe using the Luer lock, and expel any air from the system.
- Inject into indicated layers (typically deep dermis, subdermis or supraperiosteal plane) using techniques such as linear threading, fanning, or depot injections to restore volume and fill deep wrinkles and folds.
- Avoid intravascular injection; aspirate according to clinic protocol and inject slowly with attention to resistance and patient feedback.
- After injection, gently mould and contour the product if needed to ensure even distribution and desired shaping.
- Provide the patient with post-treatment guidance, including avoiding excessive heat, sun exposure, alcohol, intense exercise and manipulation of treated areas for a short period after treatment.
- Record product batch number, injected volume, injection sites and technique used for traceability.
- Single-use device: do not resterilise or reuse; dispose of syringe, needle/cannula and packaging as clinical waste according to local regulations.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid, calcium hydroxyapatite, PEG or any of the excipients, including glycine and L-proline.
- Presence of active infection, inflammation or skin disease at or near the intended injection sites.
- History of severe allergic reactions or anaphylaxis to injectable products.
- Autoimmune diseases, immunosuppression or severe systemic illness without careful medical assessment and justification.
- Bleeding disorders or current significant anticoagulant/antiplatelet therapy unless adequately managed.
- Tendency to develop keloid or hypertrophic scars in the planned treatment area.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding, as elective aesthetic filler procedures are generally avoided in these periods.
- Injection into blood vessels, intramuscularly, into eyelids, or in areas where skin integrity is compromised is contraindicated.
Adverse Effects
- Typical injection-related reactions such as erythema, oedema, bruising, tenderness or pain at the injection site, usually mild and transient.
- Temporary irregularities, firmness, palpable nodules or asymmetry in the treated area, which often resolve as the product integrates; persistent nodules may require medical management.
- Haematoma or ecchymosis, particularly in highly vascular areas or in patients with coagulation issues.
- Infection, abscess or biofilm formation if aseptic technique is not followed or if aftercare is inadequate.
- Local inflammatory or hypersensitivity reactions, including prolonged redness, swelling or induration; rare allergic reactions are possible with any hyaluronic acid-based filler.
- Very rare but serious complications such as intravascular injection leading to vascular occlusion, ischaemia or tissue necrosis, and in some facial areas potential visual compromise; immediate emergency management is required in such cases.
- Late-onset inflammatory reactions or granulomas, which are uncommon but possible with biostimulatory fillers.
Storage Conditions
- Store in the original packaging in a clean, dry place at a controlled room temperature as specified in the instructions for use (commonly between 2 °C and 25 °C).
- Protect from freezing, excessive heat and direct sunlight.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
- Do not use if the sterile blister or syringe is damaged or previously opened.
- Keep out of the reach of children and unauthorised persons.
Duration
The product degrades slowly after implantation, offering long-lasting results; clinical effects often persist for many months, typically in the range of about 9\u201312 months depending on treatment area, injection technique and individual patient factors. Repeat treatments can be scheduled according to clinical judgement and patient expectations.
Onset
Immediate volumising and wrinkle-filling effect is visible directly after injection, with progressive improvement in skin quality and firmness over the following weeks as collagen stimulation and neocollagenesis occur.
