Body filler \u2013 Cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid

Description

Perfect Line Volume Body is a high-molecular-weight, highly cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) gel filler supplied as a 10 ml syringe. It is designed for non-surgical volumetric augmentation and body contouring, allowing restoration or enhancement of volume in body regions such as buttocks, calves, inner arms and hypovolumetric scars. Through advanced 3D cross-linking (BDDE), the filler aims to integrate smoothly into tissue, offering plasticity, stability, and long-lasting, natural-looking contours.

Bnefits

  • Restores and enhances body volume without need for surgery — ideal for buttocks, calves, arms or scar-related depressions.
  • Long-lasting effects (typically 12–18 months) due to high molecular weight and strong 3D cross-linking.
  • Slow and homogeneous resorption ensures gradual degradation and natural appearance over time.
  • High viscosity and plasticity, making handling and molding during injection easier despite high HA molecular weight.
  • Non-surgical body contouring alternative — avoids risks and downtime associated with surgical body-shaping procedures.

Indications

  • Volume augmentation of body regions: buttocks, calves, inner arms.
  • Correction of hypovolumetric (depressed) scars or tissue depressions on the body.
  • Body contouring and reshaping for aesthetic enhancement without surgery.

Composition

  • Biosynthetic hyaluronic acid (HA) at concentration ~20 mg/ml (2%).
  • Cross-linking agent: BDDE (Butanediol diglycidyl ether), residual BDDE < 2 parts per million (PPM).

Formulation

  • Viscous, cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel intended for subdermal injection for body volume augmentation.

Packaging

  • Single 10 ml syringe per pack.
  • Medical-device packaging (syringe, sealed, labelled).

Usage

  • Injection must be performed only by a qualified medical professional (dermatologist, plastic surgeon, aesthetic physician) experienced in body filler treatments.
  • Inject into target body region subdermally, molding the gel to achieve desired volumetric augmentation and contour; ensure aseptic technique and adherence to local protocols.
  • Post-injection care may include advising the patient to avoid strenuous pressure or mechanical stress on treated area for a few days to allow tissue integration.

Contraindications

  • Known allergy or hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or cross-linking excipients.
  • Active skin infection, inflammation, or lesion at intended injection site.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding (unless assessed by treating physician in accordance with local guidelines).
  • Patients with severe systemic disease or coagulation disorders (to be assessed by treating physician).

Adverse Effects

  • Local injection site reactions: swelling, bruising, redness, pain or tenderness. (As expected with injectable HA fillers.)
  • Possible lumpiness or unevenness if filler is improperly placed or overfilled.
  • Rare risks: infection, granuloma formation, migration or undesired filler degradation — as with any injectable filler, particularly in large-volume body applications.

Storage Conditions

  • Store sealed syringe at recommended temperature range (as per manufacturer instructions), away from extreme heat or freezing conditions.
  • Protect from direct sunlight and mechanical damage; keep in original packaging until use.

Duration

Results typically last 12 to 18 months, depending on patient factors (skin type, lifestyle, metabolic rate).

Onset

Volume enhancement visible immediately after injection; final tissue adaptation and integration over subsequent days to weeks.
