Hyaluronic acid filler for medium to deep wrinkles & lip contour

Description

Perfectha Derm without Lidocaine is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler from Sinclair, designed to correct medium to deep wrinkles, enhance lip volume and contour, and improve the appearance of scars. Containing 20 mg/ml of particulate, gel-like hyaluronic acid, this versatile filler is injected into the mid-dermis or superficial subcutaneous layer to provide immediate, natural-looking volume and smoothness, with results typically lasting 9 to 12 months.

Bnefits

  • Effectively treats medium to deep facial wrinkles such as nasolabial, marionette, mentolabial and perioral folds.
  • Provides significant enhancement and contouring of the lips, improving both shape and volume.
  • Improves the appearance of scars and skin depressions, contributing to smoother, more even skin texture.
  • High particle density and smooth gel consistency allow precise placement and good tissue integration.
  • Non-animal, high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid helps bind moisture, hydrating and plumping treated areas.
  • Immediate visible results with minimal downtime, allowing patients to resume daily activities quickly.
  • Long-lasting results, generally 9–12 months, depending on individual factors and injection technique.
  • Formulation without lidocaine offers an option for patients sensitive to local anaesthetics or where separate anaesthesia is preferred.

Indications

  • Medium to deep facial wrinkles, including nasolabial folds.
  • Marionette folds and mentolabial folds.
  • Perioral folds and other medium-depth lines around the mouth.
  • Lip contouring and lip volume enhancement.
  • Correction of medium skin depressions and improvement of atrophic scars.
  • General facial rejuvenation where moderate volumisation and wrinkle correction are required.

Composition

  • Cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel at 20 mg/ml (20 g/L) in physiological buffer.
  • Particulate, high-particle-density HA of sterile, non-animal origin.
  • Residual cross-linking agent (BDDE) at very low, undetectable levels in finished product, according to Sinclair technology.
  • Does not contain lidocaine or other local anaesthetics.

Formulation

  • Biphasic, cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel with approximately 90,000 gel particles/ml for medium-depth correction.
  • Injectable, resorbable HA filler intended for mid-dermal and superficial subcutaneous injection.
  • Supplied as a ready-to-use, sterile, pyrogen-free gel in a prefilled syringe.

Packaging

  • 1 x 1 ml prefilled disposable glass syringe of Perfectha Derm HA gel.
  • Typically supplied with 2 x 30G 1/2" sterile needles.
  • Box includes traceability labels for patient and practitioner records.
  • Delivered sealed in original manufacturer packaging for professional use.

Usage

  • For use only by suitably trained and qualified medical professionals experienced in dermal filler injections.
  • Disinfect the treatment area and follow strict aseptic technique.
  • Inject into the middle dermis or superficial subcutaneous layer, depending on indication (wrinkle filling vs lip contouring).
  • Use appropriate injection techniques (linear threading, serial puncture, fanning or small depot injections) tailored to the treatment area.
  • Do not overcorrect; gently massage after injection if needed to ensure even distribution and smooth contours.
  • Advise patients to avoid excessive heat, strenuous exercise, alcohol and pressure on treated areas for the first 24 hours.
  • Instruct patients to report any signs of unusual pain, blanching, prolonged swelling or other concerning symptoms immediately.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or any component of the formulation.
  • Presence of active skin infection, inflammation, or lesions at the intended injection site.
  • History of severe allergic reactions or anaphylaxis.
  • Autoimmune diseases or immunosuppression, unless the treating physician deems treatment appropriate.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding, in line with standard aesthetic-medicine precautions.
  • Concurrent treatment with certain immunomodulating or anticoagulant medications, unless assessed and approved by the prescribing physician.

Adverse Effects

  • Common transient reactions at injection site: redness, swelling, tenderness, pain, bruising, itching or mild induration.
  • Possible formation of small lumps or irregularities if product is placed too superficially or unevenly.
  • Rare complications may include infection, granuloma formation, delayed inflammatory reactions or hypersensitivity.
  • As with all dermal fillers, intravascular injection can lead to vascular occlusion and tissue necrosis, or in rare cases visual disturbance; prompt recognition and management with hyaluronidase and appropriate medical care are essential.

Storage Conditions

  • Store according to manufacturer guidelines, typically between 2°C and 25–30°C.
  • Do not freeze; protect from extreme heat and direct sunlight.
  • Keep in original, sealed packaging until immediately before use.
  • Store out of reach of unauthorised persons and patients.

Duration

Clinical effects typically last around 9 months, with some patients experiencing results for up to 12 months, depending on age, skin type, lifestyle, metabolism and injection technique.

Onset

Results are usually visible immediately after injection, with final settling and integration over the following days.
