Hyaluronic acid mesotherapy / skin booster

Description

Regenovue Aqua Shine Plus 3 x 3ml is a minimally cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) skin booster designed to biorevitalise the face and neck. The product provides deep dermal hydration, improves skin brightness and elasticity, and softens fine lines and wrinkles for up to around 8 months. Supplied as 3 syringes of 3 ml each, it acts as both a biorevitaliser and a mild filler, delivering long-lasting moisture, refined pores, and a more even, radiant complexion. The formulation uses minimally cross-linked HA (≈15 mg/ml) in buffered phosphate saline (pH 7.0), which allows the gel to remain in the skin longer than non-cross-linked boosters while still integrating naturally. It is intended strictly for professional use by trained aesthetic practitioners.

Bnefits

  • Delivers deep, long-lasting hydration to dehydrated and dull skin.
  • Improves skin brightness and radiance, giving a fresher complexion.
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and superficial wrinkles.
  • Helps minimise the look of enlarged pores and refines skin texture.
  • Enhances skin firmness and elasticity through HA-induced dermal support.
  • Acts as a biorevitaliser and mild filler: rejuvenates skin while providing subtle volume and smoothing.
  • Minimally cross-linked HA prolongs the duration of effect (often up to about 8 months) compared with many non-cross-linked boosters.
  • Suitable for treatment of both face and neck, allowing harmonised rejuvenation of exposed areas.
  • Pack size (3 x 3 ml) is convenient for multi-session protocols or treating larger areas.

Indications

  • Biorevitalisation of the face and neck, especially in patients with early or moderate signs of ageing.
  • Dry, dehydrated or dull skin requiring deep dermal hydration and glow.
  • Fine lines and superficial wrinkles on the face and neck.
  • Uneven skin tone, mild pigmentation and loss of clarity.
  • Enlarged pores and rough texture needing refinement.
  • Mild loss of firmness and elasticity where a non-volumising skin booster is preferred over a traditional filler.

Composition

  • Minimally cross-linked hyaluronic acid ≈ 15 mg/ml (non-animal origin).
  • Buffered phosphate saline, pH ~7.0, as the carrier solution.
  • Trace residual BDDE (1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether) from cross-linking, purified to very low levels.
  • Sterile, pyrogen-free excipients suitable for injectable HA gels.

Formulation

  • Injectable hyaluronic-acid skin booster / mesotherapy gel for intradermal or superficial-to-mid dermal injection.
  • Minimally cross-linked HA to balance longevity with natural tissue integration.
  • Supplied in pre-filled, sterile 3 ml syringes with Luer-lock connection.
  • Intended exclusively for professional use by medically trained practitioners in aesthetic medicine.

Packaging

  • Box containing 3 pre-filled syringes, each with 3 ml of Regenovue Aqua Shine Plus (total 9 ml).
  • Each syringe supplied in a sterile blister or tray with tamper-evident sealing.
  • Outer carton labelled with product name, volume (3 x 3 ml), active ingredient concentration, batch number, expiry date, and manufacturer details.
  • Pack and labelling marked for professional / clinic distribution rather than retail sale to the public.

Usage

  • For intradermal or superficial-to-mid dermal injection by a trained medical/aesthetic professional only.
  • Perform a full medical history and suitability assessment; obtain informed consent before treatment.
  • Cleanse and disinfect the treatment area (face and/or neck) thoroughly; apply topical anaesthetic if desired according to clinic protocol.
  • Using aseptic technique, attach a suitable sterile needle (commonly 30–31G) or mesotherapy device/cannula to the Luer-lock syringe.
  • Inject small aliquots evenly across the treatment area using mesotherapy techniques (e.g. micro-papular, nappage, linear threading) at the appropriate depth.
  • Typical treatment areas include full face and neck; adapt volume per region based on skin condition and practitioner protocol.
  • After injection, gently massage to help even distribution if needed, taking care not to over-manipulate sensitive areas.
  • Advise the patient to avoid makeup, alcohol, intense exercise, and excessive sun/heat exposure (saunas, sunbeds) for at least 24 hours post-procedure.
  • Recommend broad-spectrum SPF daily and good general skincare to maintain results.
  • Typical protocol may consist of one to several sessions spaced a few weeks apart, with maintenance treatments every 6–8 months depending on clinical response.
  • Dispose of all used needles and syringes immediately after treatment in approved sharps containers; do not reuse or resterilise.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid, phosphate buffers, BDDE or any excipient in the formulation.
  • Active skin infection, inflammation, herpetic lesions or dermatitis at or near the intended injection sites.
  • History of severe anaphylactic reactions or multiple severe allergies without appropriate specialist assessment.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding (elective aesthetic injectables are generally not recommended).
  • Autoimmune diseases, uncontrolled systemic illness or significant immunosuppression, unless deemed appropriate by a specialist.
  • Coagulation disorders or concurrent use of strong anticoagulants/antiplatelet agents without careful risk assessment.
  • Previous permanent or semi-permanent filler in the planned treatment area, where interaction or complications may be more likely.
  • Not for intravascular injection; injection into blood vessels is strictly contraindicated.

Adverse Effects

  • Common transient reactions: redness, swelling, tenderness, itching, bruising or mild pain at injection sites.
  • Temporary small papules or nodules at injection points, usually resolving spontaneously within days.
  • Occasional asymmetry, contour irregularities or over/undercorrection, which may require adjustment at follow-up.
  • Less common events: persistent swelling, nodules, inflammatory reactions or infection at the treatment area.
  • Rare but serious complications associated with any injectable filler, including vascular occlusion, tissue ischaemia/necrosis, or visual disturbances if product is inadvertently injected into or compresses a vessel; these require immediate medical intervention.
  • Hypersensitivity or delayed inflammatory responses, which may present as prolonged redness, swelling, induration or discomfort.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in the original packaging at controlled room temperature as indicated on the carton (typically 2–25°C).
  • Protect from freezing and from direct sunlight or excessive heat.
  • Keep out of reach of children and unauthorised persons.
  • Do not use if the packaging is damaged, the sterility seal is broken, or the solution appears cloudy or contains particulates.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

Duration

Clinical improvements in hydration, elasticity and fine lines commonly last up to approximately 6\u20138 months, depending on skin condition, lifestyle and treatment protocol.

Onset
