Hybrid filler combining polylactic acid and hyaluronic acid

Description

Reversal PLA + HA Hybrid Filler is a next-generation hybrid dermal filler combining polylactic acid (Poly D, L-lactide) and hyaluronic acid (HA) to provide both immediate volumisation and long-lasting collagen stimulation. The polylactic acid component biodegrades over several months and stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen, while hyaluronic acid offers instant filling of wrinkles and volume deficits. This dual mechanism aims to improve skin texture, restore facial contours, activate tissue regeneration and prolong aesthetic effects up to approximately one year or longer depending on product specifics and clinical practice. It is intended for professional use by trained medical practitioners in aesthetic treatments.

Bnefits

  • Combines the immediate filling effect of hyaluronic acid with long-term collagen stimulation from polylactic acid.
  • Effectively activates production of new collagen fibres and tissue regeneration.
  • Helps fill skin irregularities and restore facial contours evenly and accurately.
  • Supports dermal reconstruction and enhances clarity of facial lines and volumes.
  • Improves hydration and nutrition of tissues due to HA’s water-binding properties.
  • Potential to maintain effects longer than standard HA fillers due to stimulation of endogenous collagen.
  • Produces natural-looking results without altering facial expression when injected correctly.

Indications

  • Loss of facial tissue volume and mid-face volume deficiency.
  • Correction of fine lines and deeper wrinkles such as nasolabial and perioral folds.
  • Improvement of skin texture in dry, thin skin with early ageing signs.
  • Facial contouring and enhancement of cheekbones, jawline and chin.
  • Rejuvenation of skin on the face, neck and décolletage areas.
  • Correction of age-related asymmetry and minor depressions in facial relief.

Composition

  • Poly D, L-lactide acid (PLA) – approximately 170 mg per 200 mg vial; biodegradable substance that stimulates collagen synthesis by skin cells.
  • Hyaluronic acid (HA) – approximately 30 mg per 200 mg vial; provides immediate volumisation and hydration.
  • Viscosity of HA component reported at around 44.6 dl/g.

Formulation

  • Hybrid injectable dermal filler combining biodegradable polylactic acid microspheres with hyaluronic acid gel.
  • Provided as a sterile suspension in a vial intended for intradermal/subcutaneous injection by qualified medical professionals.
  • Designed to offer both instant physical filling and long-term biostimulatory effects.

Packaging

  • Package containing 1 vial (200 mg) of Reversal PLA + HA Hybrid Filler.
  • Vial sealed with stopper and overseal; supplied in protective packaging with product information.
  • Intended for single-patient, single-session use; unused product should be disposed of according to medical waste procedures.

Usage

  • For professional use only by trained healthcare professionals experienced in dermal filler injections.
  • Visually inspect the vial before use; do not use if the solution or suspension appears compromised.
  • Use strict aseptic technique for all injections.
  • Reversal PLA + HA Hybrid Filler is injected into the appropriate dermal or subcutaneous layer depending on the indication and treatment area.
  • Injection techniques (e.g. linear, bolus or cannula) should be selected based on the anatomical site, desired effect and clinician judgement.
  • Administer small aliquots and gradually build volume, monitoring tissue response and symmetry.
  • After injection, advise gentle handling of the treated area and provide standard post-treatment care guidance, including avoidance of strenuous activity and excessive heat exposure for at least 24 hours.
  • Document product name, batch number, injected amount and injection sites in the patient record.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity to any component of the filler.
  • Active skin infection or inflammation at the intended injection sites.
  • History of severe allergic reactions or anaphylaxis to injectable aesthetic products.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding, unless local guidelines and clinical judgement allow.
  • Uncontrolled systemic diseases or conditions that may complicate filler injections.
  • Use in individuals under the legal age for elective aesthetic procedures.

Adverse Effects

  • Transient injection-site reactions such as redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or itching.
  • Small palpable nodules or irregularities which may occur as part of normal healing and resolve over time.
  • Uncommon risk of inflammation, infection or hypersensitivity reactions.
  • As with other fillers, rare but serious complications such as vascular occlusion can occur if injected intravascularly.
  • Other side effects should be monitored and managed as per clinical guidelines.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Protect from extremes of temperature; not to exceed 30°C.
  • Keep the product in its original packaging until immediately before use.
  • Do not use after the expiry date marked on the packaging.

Duration

Results may be visible immediately due to the hyaluronic acid component, with longer-term collagen stimulation continuing over several months; overall aesthetic effect may persist up to approximately 12\u201324 months depending on individual patient factors and treatment area.

Onset

Instant filling effect from hyaluronic acid; collagen stimulation effects typically emerge progressively over several weeks to months after injection.
