Deep-touch cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler for medium-to-deep wrinkles, volume lift and contouring
Description
Revofil Ultra 2x1ml is a deep-touch, peptide-stabilised hyaluronic acid dermal filler from Caregen designed for advanced facial rejuvenation. Formulated with cross-linked sodium hyaluronate at 23 mg/ml and a dual biomimetic peptide complex, it is intended for correction of medium-to-deep and very deep facial wrinkles in thick skin tissue, volumetric lifting and redefinition of facial contours. Revofil Ultra provides strong lifting capacity, high viscoelasticity and long-lasting structural support for areas such as cheeks, temples, jawline, chin and deep folds, delivering natural yet dramatic volume restoration and comprehensive revitalisation with a typical duration of around 12 months.
Bnefits
- Deep-acting, high-viscoelastic gel for medium-to-deep and very deep wrinkles in thick skin tissue
- Provides strong volumetric lifting and redefinition of facial contours (non-surgical volumetric facelift)
- Ideal for cheeks, temples, jawline, chin and other areas requiring robust structural support
- Restores lost facial volume and improves facial harmony and profile
- Biomimetic peptides enhance gel stability, inhibit HA degradation and support collagen and HA synthesis
- Delivers comprehensive revitalisation, improving firmness, elasticity and skin quality
- Deep lifting and contouring effects provide natural, age-defying transformations
- Smooth, cohesive gel for controlled injection and predictable, long-lasting outcomes
- Average duration of effect around 12 months before a touch-up is typically required
Indications
- Medium-to-deep and very deep facial wrinkles and folds
- Deep nasolabial folds
- Marionette lines
- Deep wrinkles in thick skin tissue (e.g. lower face, jawline)
- Volumetric lifting of midface and lower face
- Contour redefinition of cheeks and cheekbones
- Jawline contouring and chin augmentation
- Forehead and nose bridge contouring (as per practitioner protocol)
- Temples and sunken cheeks requiring significant volume restoration
Composition
- Cross-linked sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) 23 mg/ml
- Oligopeptide-72 (CG-Boostrin) – inhibits hyaluronic acid degradation to ensure more even, prolonged filler absorption over time
- Oligopeptide-50 (CG-Glamerin) – exhibits anti-inflammatory properties and increases collagen and hyaluronic acid in the skin
- Crosspolymer-2 (cross-linking matrix component)
- Physiological buffer solution and standard injectable excipients
- Non-animal-derived, biodegradable HA gel
Formulation
- Deep-touch, peptide-stabilised cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel
- Physical characteristics combining biphasic and monophasic behaviour (high viscosity and elasticity with cohesive integration)
- High viscoelasticity for strong lifting and sculpting capacity
- Optimised for deep dermis to subcutaneous injection in thick skin areas
- Sterile, pyrogen-free, single-use prefilled syringe formulation
Packaging
- Box containing 2 x 1 ml prefilled glass syringes (total 2 ml)
- Each 1 ml syringe supplied with 2 x 27G 13 mm needles (depending on distributor)
- Includes 2 traceability labels per syringe and a package insert with Instructions for Use (IFU)
- CE-marked device packaging with batch and expiry information
Usage
- For professional use only; injection must be performed by appropriately trained and qualified medical/aesthetic practitioners.
- Intended injection depth: deep dermis to subcutaneous layer, depending on treatment area and skin thickness.
- Common treatment areas include forehead, nose bridge, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheeks, cheekbones, temples, lips (for strong volume), jawline and chin.
- Use strict aseptic technique: thoroughly disinfect the treatment area and maintain sterility of all components during the procedure.
- Attach the supplied 27G needle (or suitable alternative) and expel air from the syringe prior to injection.
- Inject slowly with minimal pressure, depositing small boluses or performing linear threading / fanning in the deep dermis or subcutaneous plane, according to anatomical considerations and clinical goals.
- Avoid intravascular injection; aspirate according to clinic protocol and continuously monitor for signs of vascular compromise.
- After injection, gently mould and contour the treated area to evenly distribute the filler and refine facial contours as needed.
- Post-treatment, advise patients to avoid makeup on treated areas for several hours and to avoid intense exercise, alcohol, extreme temperatures (sauna, sunbed, very cold weather) and pressure on treated zones for at least 24 hours or as per clinic protocol.
- Always consult and follow the official Instructions for Use (IFU) supplied by the manufacturer for complete guidance on indications, injection techniques, contraindications and precautions.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid, Oligopeptide-72, Oligopeptide-50, Crosspolymer-2 or any other excipient in the formulation
- History of severe or multiple allergies or anaphylactic reactions unless thoroughly evaluated and cleared by a physician
- Presence of active skin infection, inflammation or dermatologic disease at or near the intended injection site (e.g. herpes simplex, active acne, dermatitis)
- Systemic infection or uncontrolled systemic disease where dermal filler treatment is inappropriate
- Autoimmune diseases or immunocompromised status unless the risk–benefit profile has been individually assessed by the treating clinician
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (use is generally not recommended due to limited safety data)
- Known tendency to hypertrophic or keloid scarring or significantly impaired wound healing
- Use in patients under 18 years of age
- Injection into or very close to blood vessels or in high-risk vascular areas without appropriate expertise and safety measures
Adverse Effects
- Common, usually transient injection-site reactions: redness (erythema), swelling, tenderness, pain, bruising, itching or slight bleeding
- Temporary nodules, lumps, papules or contour irregularities, which may resolve spontaneously or require massage or minor corrective treatment
- Localised infection or abscess formation if aseptic technique is not strictly followed
- Immediate or delayed hypersensitivity or inflammatory reactions, including persistent swelling, erythema, induration or pruritus
- Very rare but serious complications typical of HA fillers, such as vascular occlusion, tissue ischemia or necrosis, and visual disturbance or blindness if filler is inadvertently injected into an artery, particularly in high-risk facial regions; these events require urgent medical intervention
- Any persistent, unusual or severe adverse reaction should be promptly evaluated and managed by a qualified medical professional
Storage Conditions
- Store in accordance with the manufacturer’s labelling, typically at 2–25 °C (room temperature range defined on outer carton)
- Do not freeze
- Protect from direct sunlight and excessive heat or cold
- Keep syringes in their original sterile blister and outer carton until use to maintain sterility and traceability
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging or if the blister, syringe or carton is damaged or previously opened
- Keep out of the reach of children
Duration
Average clinical duration is approximately 12 months, though longevity depends on the treatment area, injection technique, injected volume, patient\u2019s age, skin type, metabolism and lifestyle.
Onset
Volumising and lifting effects are visible immediately after injection, with the final aesthetic outcome becoming apparent once initial post-treatment swelling or redness has resolved over the following days.
