Description
BD Viva Pen Needles 0.25mm (31G) x 8mm are ultra-fine, sterile, single-use pen needles designed for insulin and GLP-1 pen delivery systems. Manufactured with electro-polished surgical-grade stainless steel and coated with BD’s proprietary micro-bonded lubrication, these needles provide smooth insertion, reduced friction, and improved patient comfort. They are compatible with leading insulin and GLP-1 injection pens and come individually wrapped for safe and hygienic use.

Usage
- Use a new BD Viva needle for every injection
- Attach securely to the pen device following manufacturer instructions
- Prime the pen as recommended to ensure accurate dosing
- Remove both caps before injection
- Inject subcutaneously using appropriate technique
- Dispose of used needles immediately in an approved sharps container
- Do not reuse or attempt to clean needles
Contraindications
- Do not use if packaging is damaged or previously opened
- Do not use after expiry date
- Do not reuse needles
- Not suitable for intravenous or intramuscular injections when used with insulin/GLP-1 pens
- Patients with hypersensitivity to stainless steel or silicone oil should avoid use
