Description

Cleanline Food Safe Sanitiser 5L (CL1018) is an odourless, concentrated hard-surface cleaner and disinfectant designed for use in food preparation and catering environments. Supplied in a 5 litre jerrycan, it effectively sanitises and degreases benches, worktops, chopping boards, kitchen equipment and other hard surfaces while being fragrance-free and non-tainting, making it suitable for food contact areas. The product is formulated to kill a wide range of pathogenic microorganisms and conforms to key European standards for bactericidal performance when used as directed.

Composition

Usage

  • Always read the product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (e.g. gloves and eye protection) as recommended in the SDS.
  • For general hard-surface sanitising, dilute the concentrate with clean water according to the directions on the label or product usage guide (typical use is as a low-percentage dilution for spray, cloth or bucket application).
  • Remove heavy soiling from surfaces before application to ensure effective disinfection.
  • Apply the prepared solution to the surface using a clean cloth, mop or trigger spray, ensuring full coverage.
  • Allow the surface to remain visibly wet for at least the recommended contact time specified on the product sheet to achieve bactericidal performance (EN 1276 / EN 13697).
  • After the required contact time, rinse food contact surfaces thoroughly with clean water and allow to air dry.
  • Do not mix with other cleaning chemicals or detergents.
  • Dispose of unused diluted solution in accordance with local regulations and follow SDS guidance for spillages and waste.

Contraindications

  • Not intended for direct application to food or drink.
  • Not recommended for use on unsealed or sensitive surfaces that may be damaged by alkaline detergents; test on an inconspicuous area first.
  • Do not use on textiles, carpets or soft furnishings unless specifically allowed by the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Do not mix with other cleaning agents, acids or bleaching agents.

Adverse Effects
