Aesthetic microcannula for filler injection
Description
DISPODERM 30G25mm Microcannula Flexible Yellow is an extra-thin-wall, flexible microcannula designed for atraumatic aesthetic injections. Manufactured by INEX Aesthetic Group (Aesthetic Group, France), it features a blunt closed tip with a single lateral orifice, a Luer lock connection and a medical-grade stainless steel cannula manually mounted on an ergonomic polycarbonate hub. The 30G cannula (0.30–0.31 mm diameter, 25 mm length) is intended for use with syringes in hyaluronic acid (HA) filler injections, macro/micro/nano lipofilling and PRP procedures. Each cannula is individually sterilised with ethylene oxide (ETO), supplied sterile, single-use, and CE Class IIa certified, with additional registrations including FDA, ANVISA and SFDA. The product is supplied in boxes of 20 sterile microcannulas.
Bnefits
- Flexible, extra-thin-wall microcannula for precise, controlled aesthetic injections.
- Blunt, atraumatic closed tip with a single lateral orifice helps reduce the risk of vessel penetration and bruising compared with sharp needles.
- Luer lock connection ensures secure attachment to standard syringes used in aesthetic practice.
- Extra thin wall design improves flow and injection comfort while maintaining adequate stiffness and control.
- Suitable for a wide range of indications including HA fillers, macro/micro/nano lipofilling and PRP injections.
- Individually ETO-sterilised and single-use, supporting high standards of infection control.
- CE Class IIa medical device with international certifications (FDA, ANVISA, SFDA, etc.) for quality and safety.
- Produced by a specialist manufacturer offering one of the most comprehensive cannula ranges on the market (26 sizes from 18G to 30G, and 25–110 mm lengths).
Indications
- Aesthetic injection of hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers in the face and body, as determined by a qualified practitioner.
- Macro, micro and nano lipofilling procedures (fat transfer) requiring flexible, blunt-tipped cannulas.
- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections in aesthetic and regenerative medicine protocols.
- Other soft-tissue filler or biostimulatory product injections where a blunt microcannula is preferred over a sharp needle to reduce trauma and improve patient comfort.
Composition
- Cannula shaft: medical-grade stainless steel, extra thin wall.
- Hub/base: ergonomic coloured polycarbonate (yellow coding for 30G).
- Cannula tip: blunt closed end with single lateral side-port orifice.
- Sterilisation: ethylene oxide (ETO).
Formulation
- Non-medicinal, sterile medical device (microcannula) for injection/infusion.
- 30G (approx. 0.30–0.31 mm outer diameter), 25 mm length, extra thin wall design.
- Luer lock connection compatible with standard syringes used in aesthetic practice.
- Blunt closed tip with a single lateral opening for atraumatic injection.
- Single-use, disposable microcannula supplied sterile.
Packaging
- Box containing 20 individually sterile-packed microcannulas (20 x 30G/25 mm).
- Each microcannula supplied in sterile blister or peel-pack packaging.
- Outer carton labelled with product name, reference MI3025KR, UPC 90183900, size, lot number, expiry date and regulatory information.
Usage
- For use only by qualified healthcare professionals trained in aesthetic injection techniques and the use of microcannulas.
- Check the integrity of the sterile packaging and the expiry date before use; do not use if packaging is damaged or opened.
- Attach the microcannula securely to a compatible Luer lock syringe according to standard aseptic technique.
- Prime the microcannula with the intended product (e.g. HA filler, fat, PRP) to remove air before insertion.
- Create an entry point with an appropriate sharp introducer needle if required, in line with anatomical and product-specific protocols.
- Insert the blunt-tipped microcannula through the entry point and advance in the correct tissue plane, using gentle movements and respecting anatomical safety zones.
- Inject slowly while withdrawing or fanning the cannula, as appropriate for the chosen technique and product.
- After the procedure, withdraw the cannula carefully and apply gentle pressure to the entry point if needed to minimise bleeding or bruising.
- Dispose of the used microcannula immediately in an appropriate sharps container; the device is single-use and must not be resterilised or reused.
- Follow all relevant local, national and product-specific guidelines regarding injection volumes, techniques, and post-procedure care.
Contraindications
- Do not use in patients where injectable aesthetic procedures are contraindicated due to medical conditions, medications or allergies as assessed by a healthcare professional.
- Do not use in or through areas of active infection, inflammation or compromised skin.
- Do not use if there is a known hypersensitivity to any material in the device (e.g. stainless steel or polycarbonate), although such reactions are rare.
- Do not use if the sterile packaging is damaged, opened or past the expiry date.
Adverse Effects
- Typical risks associated with aesthetic injection procedures, including bruising, swelling, discomfort, haematoma, and local bleeding at entry points.
- Rare risk of vascular compromise or inadvertent intravascular injection, mitigated but not eliminated by the use of a blunt cannula; correct technique and anatomical knowledge remain essential.
- Infection risk if aseptic technique is not strictly followed.
- Possible device-related complications if the cannula is bent excessively, kinked or forced against resistant tissue.
Storage Conditions
- Store in a clean, dry environment at room temperature within the limits specified on the packaging.
- Keep in original packaging until point of use to maintain sterility and protect from physical damage.
- Protect from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight and excessive moisture.
- Keep out of the reach of children and unauthorised persons.
Duration
Single-use device utilised during individual injection sessions; duration is limited to the length of the procedure and determined by the treating practitioner.
Onset
Not applicable to the cannula itself; onset of clinical effect depends on the injected product (e.g. HA filler, fat, PRP) and treatment protocol.
