Ready-to-use sporicidal foaming surface disinfectant spray
Description
Incidin OxyFoam S Spray 750ml is a ready-to-use sporicidal foaming cleaner and disinfectant for medical devices and environmental surfaces. Based on patented Hi-Speed H2O2 hydrogen peroxide technology, it provides broad-spectrum efficacy against bacteria, mycobacteria, fungi, yeasts, viruses and C. difficile spores while offering short contact times and rapid evaporation. The formulation is alcohol free, has no strong odour and leaves no active residues as the active ingredient breaks down into water and oxygen. Supplied in a 750 ml trigger spray bottle, Incidin OxyFoam S is designed for convenient, safe and effective disinfection in healthcare and clinical settings with excellent material compatibility.
Bnefits
- Broad-spectrum efficacy, including virucidal, bactericidal, mycobactericidal, fungicidal and sporicidal activity (effective against C. difficile spores).
- Ready-to-use foaming spray for convenient surface and medical-device disinfection without the need for dilution.
- Patented Hi-Speed H2O2 hydrogen peroxide technology provides fast-acting disinfection and short contact times.
- Active ingredient (hydrogen peroxide) decomposes into water and oxygen, leaving no active residues.
- Alcohol-free formulation suitable for use on a wide range of surfaces where alcohol is not desired.
- No strong odour, improving user and patient comfort compared with many traditional sporicidal products.
- Excellent material compatibility with common healthcare surface materials when used as directed.
- Combines cleaning and disinfection in one step, supporting efficient workflows in infection control.
Indications
- Cleaning and disinfection of non-invasive medical devices as classified by the manufacturer (Medical Device, Class IIb).
- Sporicidal and broad-spectrum disinfection of hard, non-porous surfaces in healthcare and clinical environments, including high-risk areas.
- Situations where C. difficile or other spore-forming organisms are a concern and sporicidal disinfection is required.
- Routine and terminal disinfection of frequently touched surfaces, small equipment and work areas in hospitals, clinics, dental and aesthetic practices.
- Use on suitable medical devices and equipment surfaces (e.g. ultrasound probes, external device surfaces) in accordance with manufacturer guidance.
Composition
- Active ingredient: hydrogen peroxide 1.5 g per 100 g of product (1.5% w/w).
- Purified water.
- Stabilisers and formulation excipients to support the patented Hi-Speed H2O2 technology (full qualitative composition detailed in the official product data/safety data sheet).
Formulation
- Ready-to-use foaming cleaner and disinfectant solution.
- Active ingredient: 1.5% hydrogen peroxide.
- Alcohol free.
- Supplied as a trigger-spray bottle producing a stable foam for improved contact and coverage on surfaces.

Packaging
- 750 ml ready-to-use trigger spray bottle of Incidin OxyFoam S.
- Typically supplied in cartons of 6 x 750 ml bottles for institutional use (order code 3115810 for 6 x 750 ml outer carton).
- Clear labelling with usage instructions, spectrum of activity, safety information and regulatory markings (including EU Biocide Registration number and CE/MD labelling where applicable).
Usage
- For professional use in healthcare and clinical environments; always read the label and product information before use.
- Ensure the surface or medical device to be treated is visibly clean; pre-clean heavily soiled areas if necessary.
- Spray Incidin OxyFoam S directly onto the surface to be disinfected, ensuring complete and even coverage; alternatively apply via a clean disposable cloth saturated with the foam.
- Allow the product to remain on the surface for the contact time specified on the label or technical data sheet for the relevant microorganisms (e.g. minutes for bactericidal/yeasticidal efficacy; specific contact times for C. difficile spores and full virucidal activity).
- Do not wipe dry before the minimum contact time has elapsed; the surface should remain visibly wet for the full contact period.
- After the required contact time, allow to air dry or, if required by local protocol or device manufacturer, wipe off excess product with a clean disposable cloth.
- For surfaces that may come into direct contact with food or neonates, rinse with potable water after disinfection if recommended in the instructions for use.
- Do not mix with other cleaning or disinfectant products.
- Wear appropriate protective equipment (e.g. gloves) as recommended in the safety data sheet and according to local risk assessments.
Contraindications
- Not intended for use on invasive medical devices or devices that are incompatible with hydrogen peroxide-based disinfectants unless explicitly allowed by the device manufacturer.
- Do not use on surfaces or materials known to be sensitive to oxidising agents (e.g. certain metals, natural stone or delicate finishes) without prior compatibility testing in an inconspicuous area.
- Do not mix with other chemicals, detergents or disinfectants, especially those containing chlorine or strong alkalis/acids.
- Avoid direct contact with eyes and prolonged skin contact; follow safety data sheet guidance for handling.
- Not for ingestion or use as a hand or skin disinfectant.
Adverse Effects
- May cause eye irritation upon contact; contact with eyes should be rinsed immediately with plenty of water and medical advice sought if irritation persists.
- Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause mild irritation or dryness in some users.
- Inhalation of spray mist in poorly ventilated areas may cause minor respiratory irritation; use in well-ventilated areas.
- Improper use on incompatible surfaces may lead to discolouration, corrosion or surface damage.
- In case of accidental ingestion, may cause gastrointestinal discomfort; seek medical attention and follow safety data sheet recommendations.
Storage Conditions
- Store in the original, tightly closed container in a cool, dry place.
- Recommended storage temperature between 0 °C and 25 °C, protected from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Keep away from incompatible materials and out of reach of children.
- Do not freeze.
- Period after opening: usable until the end of the product shelf life if stored as directed and container remains properly closed.
Duration
Typical surface contact times range from a few minutes up to approximately 60 minutes depending on the target microorganisms and conditions specified on the product label and technical data sheet.
Onset
Disinfection effect begins immediately upon application, with full claimed efficacy (e.g. bactericidal, virucidal, sporicidal) achieved after the specified contact time for each microorganism group.
