  • Use the Halsey needle holder to grasp and drive extremely fine sutures as per standard clinical technique.

  • Do not use in patients or procedures where the use of metal instruments of this type is clinically contraindicated.
  • Do not use beyond the stated expiry date on the packaging.

Adverse Effects

  • Potential tissue trauma, bruising or tearing if instruments are used with excessive force or incorrect technique.
  • Insufficient haemostasis or poor suture control if instruments are used outside their intended application or on unsuitable tissues.
  • Increased risk of infection if sterility is compromised or if aseptic technique is not followed.
  • Possible user injury (e.g. needle stick, cuts or pinch injuries) if safe sharps and instrument handling procedures are not observed.
  • Rare risk of mechanical failure (e.g. joint loosening or misalignment) leading to reduced performance or loss of grip during use.

  • Store in a clean, dry environment at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of excessive heat or moisture.
  • Keep in original packaging until immediately before use to maintain sterility.
