Mesotherapy Needles / Hypodermic Needles
Description
Mesorelle (Meso-relle) needles are high-quality, single-use hypodermic needles specifically designed for mesotherapy and micro-injection procedures. Manufactured in Italy/Europe under stringent quality standards, they undergo multiple precision sharpening and surface treatments to deliver a strong, smooth and sharp needle that penetrates the skin cleanly, minimising pain, trauma and downtime. Mesorelle needles are available in a range of gauges (27G–34G) and lengths (4–40 mm) and are compatible with standard Luer and Luer-lock syringes used in aesthetic medicine, mesotherapy, sclerotherapy, fillers and related treatments.
Bnefits
- Manufactured to high European/Italian standards with precise, multiple sharpening for excellent sharpness and smooth penetration, reducing patient discomfort and tissue trauma.
- Available in a wide range of fine gauges (27G to 34G) and lengths (short for superficial mesotherapy, longer for deeper injections such as fillers, sclerotherapy and dentistry), allowing tailored needle choice for each procedure.
- Sterile, single-use needles individually blister packed with protective caps to support infection control and minimise risk of needle-stick injury.
- CE-marked medical device with colour coding in accordance with ISO standards for easy identification of gauge and size.
- Made of surgical-grade stainless steel with lancet-type tips and thin walls (depending on size) for optimal flow and minimal bleeding and injection marks.
- Compatible with Luer and Luer-lock connectors, making them suitable for use with standard mesotherapy guns, syringes and injection equipment.
- Engineered for aesthetic applications such as mesotherapy, skin boosters, dermal fillers and sclerotherapy, helping to improve patient comfort and overall treatment experience.
Indications
- Mesotherapy injections into the middle layer of the skin (mesoderm) for aesthetic and dermatologic treatments.
- Micro-injections for skin rejuvenation, skin boosters and similar cosmetic procedures.
- Administration of dermal fillers where a fine hypodermic needle is required (appropriate gauge and length to be selected by the practitioner).
- Sclerotherapy for treatment of small veins, when a compatible fine-gauge needle is indicated.
- Other medical or dental procedures requiring a fine, short or medium-length hypodermic needle, as determined by a trained healthcare professional.
- Use only by, or under the supervision of, suitably trained medical or aesthetic practitioners.
Composition
- Hypodermic needle made of medical-grade/surgical stainless steel.
- Lancet-type, multi-sharpened bevel (often diamond or multi-facet ground) to optimise penetration and minimise pain.
- Siliconised or specially treated outer surface on many models to reduce friction during insertion (as specified by distributors).
- Plastic Luer or Luer-lock compatible hub, colour coded according to ISO gauge standard (e.g., yellow for 30G, green for 33G, grey for 27G, pink/blue etc. depending on gauge).
- Protective plastic needle cap covering the needle before and after use.
- Sterilisation by ethylene oxide.
- Non-pyrogenic, non-toxic, single-use device.
Formulation
- Device type: hypodermic mesotherapy needle (single-use).
- Available gauges: typically 27G, 30G, 31G, 32G, 33G, 34G (exact range depends on distributor and local catalogue).
- Available lengths: commonly 4 mm, 6 mm, 12 mm for superficial facial mesotherapy and microinjections; longer lengths up to around 25–40 mm for deeper injections such as fillers, sclerotherapy and dentistry.
- Connection: compatible with Luer and Luer-lock syringes and mesotherapy equipment.
- Sterility: ethylene oxide sterilised, individually blister packed.
- Colour coding: hub colours comply with ISO standard for needle gauges.
- Single-use: designed for one patient, one procedure only.
Packaging
- Typically supplied in boxes of 100 individually blister-packed needles (exact pack size may vary by distributor or SKU).
- Each needle sealed in a paper–foil or plastic blister with a protective needle cap to maintain sterility and prevent injury.
- Outer carton labelled with gauge, length, lot/batch number, expiry date and CE marking information.
- Sterile until package is opened or damaged; packaging clearly indicates single-use only.
Usage
- Check the outer box and individual blister for integrity and expiry date before use; do not use if the packaging is damaged, opened or beyond the expiry date.
- Select the appropriate gauge and length based on the planned mesotherapy, filler, sclerotherapy or other procedure, following clinical guidelines and product-specific instructions for the injectable being used.
- Using aseptic technique, open the blister and attach the needle firmly to a compatible Luer or Luer-lock syringe or mesotherapy device.
- Prime the needle according to local protocols and perform the injection in line with accepted mesotherapy or injection technique, ensuring correct depth, angle and volume per injection point.
- Avoid bending the needle; if the needle becomes contaminated or damaged prior to injection, discard safely and use a new sterile needle.
- After the procedure, do not recap the needle unless local safety protocol specifically permits a one-handed technique; immediately dispose of the used needle and syringe into an approved sharps container.
- For single use only; never reuse or share needles between patients.
Contraindications
- Do not use if individual blister or outer packaging is opened, damaged or past the stated expiry date.
- Do not reuse, re-sterilise or share needles between patients due to risk of infection and cross-contamination.
- Not suitable for use in patients with known hypersensitivity or allergy to stainless steel or any component of the needle without prior risk assessment and specialist advice.
- Use with caution in patients with very fragile skin or compromised vasculature; needle gauge and length should be chosen appropriately to minimise trauma.
- Not intended for routes such as intrathecal, intraocular or intra-arterial injection unless specifically authorised and supported by appropriate clinical guidelines.
- Use only by trained professionals familiar with mesotherapy and injection techniques to avoid complications such as vascular injury, nerve damage or misplacement of injectate.
Adverse Effects
- Typical injection-site reactions including transient pain, erythema, mild swelling, bruising or small haematoma.
- Minor bleeding or puncture marks at injection sites, usually self-limiting; risk is reduced by appropriate needle size and technique.
- Very rare risk of needle breakage or bending if misused, re-used or inserted improperly.
- Risk of infection or abscess formation at the injection site if aseptic technique is not followed or if needles are improperly handled.
- Risk of needle-stick injury to practitioners if established sharps safety protocols are not observed.
- Other adverse effects are primarily related to the injected substance (e.g., filler or drug) rather than the Mesorelle needle itself.
Storage Conditions
- Store in a clean, dry environment at room temperature, away from moisture, direct sunlight and excessive heat.
- Keep in original packaging until immediately before use to preserve sterility and ensure correct product identification.
- Do not expose the packaging to crushing, bending or other mechanical stress that may damage the needles.
- Keep out of reach of children and unauthorised persons.
- Observe any additional storage instructions provided on the outer carton or by the local distributor.
Duration
Not applicable to the device itself. Mesorelle needles are single-use medical devices; treatment duration and regimen are determined by the medicinal or cosmetic product being injected and the clinical protocol.
Onset
Not applicable to the device. Onset of therapeutic or cosmetic effect depends on the substance administered, the indication and the route of injection, not on the needle brand.
