Description

Protect 360° Biodegradable Sanitising Wipes are professional-grade, plant-based disinfectant wipes designed for routine cleaning and disinfection of washable, non-porous surfaces. Each pack contains 100 eco-friendly, 100% biodegradable, plastic-free wipes made from premium non-woven material. Using a 100% plant-derived active ingredient (lactic acid), the wipes provide fast, 1-minute bactericidal and virucidal efficacy, including against enveloped viruses, while leaving no sticky residue and supporting sustainable cleaning practices. They are manufactured in Britain and supplied in recyclable packaging, offering an effective and environmentally responsible infection-control option for healthcare, hospitality, food-service and general workplace environments.

Bnefits

  • Fast-acting – effective against bacteria and viruses in just 1 minute of contact time.
  • Biodegradable, plastic-free wipe material to reduce environmental impact.
  • Uses a 100% plant-based active ingredient (lactic acid) rather than synthetic quats or chlorine.
  • 100% viscose-free and low-linting premium non-woven white wipes for a clean, streak-free finish.
  • 2-in-1 cleaning and disinfection for routine hygiene of washable, non-porous surfaces.
  • Recyclable packaging and UK manufacturing to support reduced carbon footprint and local supply reliability.
  • Food-safe and dermatologically tested, suitable for use on most food-contact and high-touch surfaces.

Indications

  • Routine cleaning and disinfection of washable, non-porous surfaces.
  • Infection control in hospitality, catering, and food-service environments.
  • Regular sanitising of high-touch points such as tables, worktops, door handles, handrails and equipment housings.
  • Use in healthcare and clinical support areas where a food-safe, biodegradable wipe is appropriate under local protocols.
  • Support for infection-prevention routines in offices, schools, care homes and public venues.

  • Aqueous carrier solution with stabilisers and surfactants suitable for hard-surface cleaning and disinfection (exact excipient blend proprietary to manufacturer).

Formulation

  • Pre-saturated sanitising surface wipes impregnated with a lactic-acid-based disinfectant solution.
  • Biodegradable wipe fabric designed for low linting and high absorbency.
  • Non-corrosive, non-chlorine, non-bleach, PHMB- and CMR-free formulation.

Packaging

  • Soft pack containing 100 biodegradable sanitising wipes.
  • Wipe size: approximately 240 mm x 200 mm.
  • White wipes supplied in resealable, recyclable packaging to maintain moisture and minimise waste.

Usage

  • Use biocides safely; always read the label and product information before use.
  • Open the pack, remove a single wipe and reseal the label/closure to prevent wipes from drying out.
  • Wipe the surface thoroughly, ensuring complete coverage; for heavily soiled areas, pre-clean if necessary and use additional wipes as required.
  • Ensure the surface remains visibly wet for at least 1 minute to achieve full bactericidal and virucidal efficacy.
  • Allow the surface to air dry; no rinsing is typically required on non-food-immersed hard surfaces unless specified on the label.
  • Dispose of used wipes in general waste according to local regulations; do not flush.
  • Suitable for most washable, non-porous surfaces; test on an inconspicuous area if in doubt and follow any specific substrate-compatibility guidance from the manufacturer.

Contraindications

  • Not suitable for use on unsealed, delicate or non-washable surfaces where water-based solutions are contraindicated (e.g. some unsealed woods, certain electronics without manufacturer approval).
  • Do not use on skin or as a personal hygiene wipe; intended for surface use only.
  • Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
  • Do not mix with other detergents or cleaning chemicals.
  • Individuals with known sensitivity or allergy to lactic acid or other formulation components should avoid prolonged direct contact with the solution.

Adverse Effects

  • Possible mild transient skin irritation on prolonged or repeated contact with the solution; gloves are recommended for frequent professional use.
  • Eye irritation if the liquid comes into direct contact with eyes.
  • Respiratory irritation may occur in sensitive individuals if used in poorly ventilated spaces, though risk is low for normal surface-wipe use.
  • Inappropriate use on incompatible surfaces may cause staining, streaking or surface damage.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place at normal room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
  • Keep the pack tightly closed/fully resealed when not in use to prevent wipes from drying out.
  • Do not freeze.
  • Store out of reach of children and animals.
  • Keep away from food and drink during storage as per general chemical and biocide-handling guidance.

Duration

Contact time of at least 1 minute on the surface is required for full disinfectant efficacy; wipes can be used as often as needed as part of routine cleaning and infection-control protocols.

Onset

Biocidal action begins on contact, with proven bactericidal and virucidal efficacy achieved within 1 minute of appropriate surface wetting.
