Description

Reliject Pre-Injection Wipe (Box of 100) is a box of individually wrapped, 2-ply pre-injection skin cleansing swabs manufactured by Reliance Medical under the Reliject brand. Each non-woven wipe is impregnated with 70% isopropyl alcohol solution for rapid skin disinfection before injections and minor procedures. The swabs are designed for skin preparation prior to administering injections, helping to reduce the risk of infection at the injection site. They are supplied in sealed sachets to maintain sterility and saturation, dry rapidly after use, and are suitable for use in healthcare, first-aid, vaccination, phlebotomy, and aesthetic injection settings.

Usage

  • For external use on intact skin only.
  • Tear open the individual sachet immediately before use and remove the swab.
  • Apply the swab to the area of intact skin where the injection or procedure will be performed.
  • Wipe the area thoroughly using firm, circular motions from the injection site outward, ensuring complete coverage.

  • Use each swab once only and discard safely after use in accordance with local infection control and clinical waste policies.
  • Do not reuse or re-saturate the swab. Do not apply to mucous membranes, eyes, large areas of skin, or broken/damaged skin.

  • Avoid use in individuals where alcohol-based products are contraindicated or not recommended by clinical guidance.

Adverse Effects

  • Transient stinging, burning or mild irritation at the application site, especially on sensitive skin.
  • Dryness or mild erythema of the skin after repeated use.
  • Allergic or irritant contact dermatitis to isopropanol or other components of the wipe (rare).

  • Keep the box tightly closed when not in use and protect from excessive heat.
  • Store only in the original packaging and do not decant individual sachets into other containers.
