Body TCA peel
Description
BioRePeelCl3 BODY Chemical Peel by CMed Aesthetics is a professional, two-phase (biphasic) topical medical device designed specifically for body skin rejuvenation. Supplied as a pack of 3 x 12 ml ampoules, the formula contains 50% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) combined with α-hydroxy acids, β-hydroxy acids, poly-hydroxy acids, amino acids, vitamins and GABA. This synergy promotes marked exfoliation of dead cells, supports collagen stimulation and cell renewal, and enhances antioxidant and moisturising effects. It is indicated for treatment of body areas such as the back, shoulders, buttocks, legs, knees, elbows, hands and feet, helping to improve uneven texture, dryness, acne, superficial scars and other aesthetic concerns. The treatment is needle-free, fast, and designed to deliver immediate multifunctional results with minimal downtime, without frost, post-treatment scarring or oxidation darkening, and can be used in all seasons when performed by trained professionals.

Usage
- For professional use only; treatment must be carried out by a suitably trained healthcare or aesthetic professional following official protocols.
- Cleanse and degrease the treatment area according to the BioRePeelCl3 protocol (e.g. with an appropriate pre-peel cleanser or antiseptic solution).
- Shake the BioRePeelCl3 BODY ampoule/vial vigorously until the two phases form a uniform green emulsion.
- Using a sterile syringe, withdraw the required volume (commonly up to around 2 ml per body zone, adjusted to area size and protocol) without removing the stopper where applicable.
- Apply the product evenly over the selected body area (e.g. back, shoulders, buttocks, legs, knees, elbows, hands, feet) using gloved fingers or another suitable applicator, gently massaging until the solution is well distributed.
- Allow the product to act for approximately 5–10 minutes on body areas, with contact time adjusted within protocol limits according to skin type, area and practitioner judgement.
- At the end of the exposure time, remove the product carefully using gauze or cotton soaked in water (or saline), ensuring all residue is removed from the skin.
- Apply recommended post-treatment products from the BioReTherapy line (such as BioReHydra serum and BioReLift cream) or other suitable soothing and hydrating care as per clinic protocol.
- Standard treatment course per area typically comprises 4–6 sessions, with BioRePeelCl3 BODY applied every 10–15 days, in line with the CMed Aesthetics protocol-of-use.
- Instruct patients to avoid intense heat, friction and strong active skincare (such as other peels, high-strength acids or retinoids) on the treated area for several days and to use broad-spectrum sunscreen where the area may be exposed.
- Always refer to and follow the latest official instructions for use (IFU) and classic protocol of CMed Aesthetics for BioRePeelCl3 BODY; do not deviate from approved guidelines.
Contraindications
- Known allergy or hypersensitivity to trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acid (including aspirin intolerance), lactobionic acid, tartaric acid, citric acid, GABA, included amino acids, vitamins C or B2, or any other component of the formulation
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (commonly treated as a contraindication or strong precaution according to local clinical guidance and clinic policy)
- Active bacterial, viral or fungal infections, or open wounds, cuts or abrasions in the intended treatment area
- Active inflammatory dermatoses such as uncontrolled eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis or other significant irritation on the treatment zone
- History of hypertrophic scars or keloid formation in the area to be treated

- Uncontrolled systemic disease (e.g. poorly controlled diabetes, significant autoimmune disease) where wound healing may be impaired, according to the supervising physician’s judgement
- Use of systemic isotretinoin (e.g. Roaccutane) within the previous 6–12 months, depending on current clinical guidelines and practitioner assessment

- Inability or unwillingness to comply with post-treatment care instructions, including sun protection, gentle skincare and treatment spacing
Adverse Effects
- Transient burning, stinging, tingling or warmth in the treated area during and shortly after application
- Post-treatment erythema (redness) and mild swelling that typically resolve within hours to a few days
- Dryness, tightness and varying degrees of flaking or desquamation as the exfoliated outer layers shed
- Temporary increase in skin sensitivity to touch, heat, skincare products and environmental exposure
- Potential purging or temporary flare of comedones and inflammatory lesions in acne-prone skin as congestion is brought to the surface
- Irritation, superficial erosions or over-peeling if contact time, quantity applied or patient selection is inappropriate or if aftercare is not followed
- Risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, especially in higher Fitzpatrick skin types or when photoprotection is inadequate
- Very rare but possible complications such as infection, scarring or persistent pigmentary changes if contraindications are ignored, technique is poor or if the patient fails to follow aftercare advice
Storage Conditions
- Store at controlled room temperature as indicated on the product packaging, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
- Cold storage is not required; however, the product should be protected from extreme temperatures and sudden temperature changes.
- Keep ampoules/vials in their original outer carton to protect from light and to reduce the risk of contamination or damage.
- Ensure ampoules/vials are intact and the solution appears normal; do not use if packaging is damaged, if unusual instability is observed after shaking, or if the product is past its expiry date.
- Follow local regulations and CMed Aesthetics guidance for the safe storage and disposal of chemical peel medical devices.
Duration
Typically performed as a course of 4–6 sessions on each treated body area, with BioRePeelCl3 BODY applications repeated every 10–15 days according to the official protocol. Product contact time per session on body areas is usually around 5–10 minutes, with overall appointment time (including preparation and post-care) averaging 30–40 minutes.
Onset
Most patients experience an immediate feeling of smoother, refreshed skin after the first session, with visible improvements in texture, radiance and superficial imperfections often apparent within the first few treatments. Optimal aesthetic results typically develop progressively over the full course of 4–6 sessions and continue to consolidate over subsequent weeks due to ongoing cell renewal and dermal remodelling.
