Neutraliser wipes for chemical peels

Description

Enerpeel Neutraliser Wipes are pre-soaked, single-use wipes containing a 12% arginine alkaline neutralising solution held in an Enerpeel carrier system. They are specifically designed to neutralise Enerpeel chemical peels (such as TCA, Mandelic, Pyruvic and other Enerpeel formulations) not only on the skin surface but also at the depth reached by the peel. The patented carrier technology delivers the arginine neutraliser into the same layers as the Enerpeel acids, rapidly stopping their activity and helping to minimise complications and downtime. Each box contains 15 individually packaged wipes for professional in-clinic use or for duty-of-care post-treatment provision.

Bnefits

  • Specifically formulated to neutralise Enerpeel chemical peels, including deeper-acting peels such as TCA, by following the same penetration pathway
  • Contains a 12% arginine alkaline neutraliser in an Enerpeel carrier solution, enabling effective neutralisation from the skin surface down to the dermis
  • Helps reduce the risk of over-exposure, excessive erythema, blistering and other complications following chemical peel application
  • Enables safe, predictable end-point control for Enerpeel treatments and supports uniform clinical outcomes
  • Single-use pre-soaked wipes provide consistent, easy-to-apply neutralisation with no need to measure or mix solutions
  • Useful as a duty-of-care backup for extended-exposure Enerpeel protocols (e.g. Enerpeel MA for rosacea), allowing rapid neutralisation if needed
  • Supports patient comfort by quickly relieving stinging or burning sensations once neutralisation is initiated
  • Supplied as part of a CE-marked medical peel system manufactured under GMP and ISO 13485 standards

Indications

  • Neutralisation of Enerpeel chemical peel solutions (e.g. TCA, Mandelic Acid, Pyruvic Acid, Glycolic Acid and other Enerpeel formulations) after the prescribed exposure time
  • Use in conjunction with Enerpeel protocols where deep and uniform neutralisation of active acids is required
  • Duty-of-care provision to patients after certain extended-exposure Enerpeel treatments (particularly Enerpeel MA for rosacea) for home use if unexpected irritation occurs
  • Supportive management of post-peel comfort by rapidly stopping residual acid activity

Composition

  • Arginine 12% (alkaline amino acid neutralising agent) in Enerpeel multiphasic carrier solution
  • Enerpeel carrier system (patented carrier technology designed to follow the penetration of Enerpeel acids into the skin)
  • Aqueous solvent system suitable for impregnation of non-woven wipes
  • Non-woven wipe substrate (medical-grade, single-use)

Formulation

  • Pre-soaked, single-use non-woven wipes impregnated with a 12% arginine alkaline solution
  • Neutralising solution held in Enerpeel carrier technology so that the arginine is carried into the same skin layers as the Enerpeel acids
  • Designed to neutralise Enerpeel acids from the stratum corneum down into the deeper viable epidermis and superficial dermis where the peel has penetrated
  • Medical-device formulation manufactured under GMP and ISO 13485 as part of the Enerpeel professional peel system
  • Physicochemical profile: alkaline neutraliser for acid peels, in a controlled concentration intended for professional use

Packaging

  • Box of 15 individually packed neutraliser wipes (15 pack)
  • Each sachet contains one pre-soaked neutraliser wipe for single-patient, single-use application
  • Labelled with product name, batch/lot number, expiry date and manufacturer/distributor details
  • Intended for professional clinic stock alongside Enerpeel peels and preparatory/remover wipes

Usage

  • For professional in-clinic use, or as directed by a trained medical/aesthetic practitioner when provided to patients as a duty-of-care neutraliser.
  • After applying the appropriate Enerpeel chemical peel and allowing it to act for the recommended time (or earlier if clinical endpoints such as frosting or excessive discomfort appear), open one sachet of Enerpeel Neutraliser Wipes.
  • Remove the wipe and gently but thoroughly wipe over the treated area, ensuring all areas where the peel was applied are covered. Use smooth, overlapping strokes.
  • Continue wiping for the duration recommended in the Enerpeel protocol to ensure full neutralisation of the peel. Replace with a second wipe if needed for larger areas or heavier applications.
  • After neutralisation with the Enerpeel neutraliser wipe, the skin surface can, if required by protocol, be gently wiped or rinsed with cotton pads dampened with water a few minutes later to remove residual product.
  • Monitor the patient’s skin response and comfort; neutralisation should promptly reduce stinging or burning sensations. If symptoms persist, follow clinic protocol for further management.
  • For extended-exposure Enerpeel MA (Mandelic Acid) and similar protocols where a patient is sent home with a neutraliser wipe as a precaution, instruct the patient only to use the wipe if significant delayed discomfort, burning or unexpected reaction occurs in the treated area.
  • Dispose of used wipes and sachets as clinical waste according to local regulations.
  • Always follow the specific Enerpeel peel protocol (TCA, MA, PA, etc.) for exact neutralisation timing and post-procedure care.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to arginine or any component of the Enerpeel Neutraliser solution or wipe substrate.
  • Broken skin, open wounds, active infections or significant inflammatory dermatoses in the area unless the neutraliser is being used under direct medical supervision after a peel already applied.
  • Use in the eyes, inside the nose, mouth or on other mucous membranes (avoid direct contact; if accidental contact occurs, rinse immediately with copious water and seek medical advice if irritation persists).
  • Patients with a history of severe contact dermatitis or adverse reactions to previous chemical peel or neutraliser products, unless patch-tested or cleared by the supervising clinician.

Adverse Effects

  • Possible transient stinging, tingling or mild irritation on application, particularly immediately after acid peel exposure.
  • Occasional temporary erythema or dryness in the treated area following neutralisation.
  • Rarely, allergic or irritant contact dermatitis to components of the neutraliser solution or wipe material.
  • Inappropriate use (e.g. rubbing too vigorously on compromised skin, or use on non-indicated areas) may contribute to surface irritation or barrier disruption.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
  • Keep sachets in the original box until use to protect from contamination and evaporation.
  • Do not use if the sachet is damaged, leaking or appears improperly sealed.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
  • Keep out of reach of children and non-professional users.

Duration

Neutralisation itself is achieved over the course of a few minutes of wiping following completion of the peel\u2019s prescribed exposure time. Enerpeel Neutraliser Wipes are used once per peel session at the neutralisation stage; they are not part of a standalone treatment course but are integrated into each Enerpeel procedure.

Onset

Neutralising action begins immediately upon contact with residual Enerpeel acids on and within the skin, with noticeable reduction in stinging or burning sensations typically occurring within seconds to minutes of thorough wiping.
