Superficial anti-dark spot chemical peel for normal skin
Description
Fillmed Bright Peel (100ml) is a professional, superficial chemical peel formulated for normal skin to address early signs of ageing, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. The peel uses a 50% multi-acid complex at approximately pH 1.5 to gently exfoliate, brighten the complexion, and promote epidermal renewal with minimal downtime. It is intended strictly for in-clinic use by trained medical or aesthetic professionals.
Bnefits
- Helps visibly reduce dark spots and pigmentation irregularities
- Improves overall radiance and gives a brighter, more even complexion
- Smooths fine lines and superficial wrinkles associated with early skin ageing
- Promotes epidermal renewal for improved skin texture and clarity
- Targets dull, tired-looking skin to restore healthy-looking glow
- Designed as a needle-free, non-injectable anti-ageing option
- Provides both immediate brightening and longer-term pigmentation improvement when used in a protocol
- Formulated to balance efficacy and tolerability using gluconolactone-based peel technology

Usage
- For professional use only: to be applied exclusively by trained medical or aesthetic practitioners following Fillmed protocols.
- Prepare the skin with appropriate cleansing and, where recommended, a Fillmed Pre Peel solution.
- Measure approximately 2.5–3 ml of Bright Peel solution using the provided dosing tube or measuring cup.
- Apply a uniform layer of the peel with the supplied brush over the treatment area (typically face, and optionally neck and décolleté, as directed by protocol).
- Leave on the skin for around 3 minutes for the first session; subsequent session contact times may be adjusted according to skin tolerance and practitioner judgment.
- Neutralise or rinse thoroughly using the recommended Fillmed Post Peel or equivalent neutralising/soothing product, then rinse with water and gently dry the skin.
- Standard treatment protocol commonly consists of a series of 4 sessions spaced about 14 days (2 weeks) apart, with optional maintenance sessions (e.g. every 6 months), as per Fillmed guidance.
- Advise patients to avoid sun exposure for at least 48 hours after treatment and to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 50) and gentle skincare while the skin barrier recovers.
- Do not apply to compromised, inflamed, or infected skin and avoid the eye area, mucous membranes, and lips unless specifically trained and authorised under a defined protocol.
- Always follow the latest official Fillmed Bright Peel instructions for use and local clinical guidelines for chemical peels.
Contraindications
- Active skin infections, open wounds, or significant inflammation in the treatment area
- Rosacea, highly reactive skin, or significantly compromised skin barrier function
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (commonly listed as contraindicated or not recommended)
- Known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the peel components (e.g. gluconolactone, glycolic acid, phytic acid, citric acid, or other formulation ingredients)
- Recent use of strong photosensitising medications or topical treatments (e.g. certain retinoids), as per practitioner assessment
- Very high phototype or history of hypertrophic or keloid scarring, where chemical peels may carry increased risk, unless the practitioner judges otherwise under strict precautions
- Any dermatological disease or active lesion in the planned treatment area that, in the clinician’s judgment, makes chemical peeling unsafe
Adverse Effects
- Transient erythema (redness) and warmth or tingling during and shortly after application
- Mild to moderate skin flaking or peeling in the days following treatment
- Temporary dryness, tightness, or itchiness of the treated area
- Localised oedema (swelling) or sensitivity, usually self-limiting
- Inappropriate use or use on unsuitable skin types may increase the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, prolonged irritation, or, rarely, scarring
- Any unexpected, severe, or persistent reaction should be evaluated by a qualified healthcare professional and reported according to local pharmacovigilance or device vigilance requirements
Storage Conditions
- Store in a dark place, protected from direct light, in the original packaging.
- Maintain storage temperature generally between about 8°C and 25°C (some distributors specify +2°C to +25°C); do not freeze.
- Keep the bottle tightly closed and upright when not in use to minimise contamination and oxidation.
- Observe the expiry date printed on the packaging and do not use after the stated date.
Duration
Typically performed as a course of around 4 in-clinic peel sessions spaced approximately 2 weeks apart (total treatment period around 6\u20138 weeks), with optional maintenance sessions (e.g. once every 6 months) according to patient needs and practitioner protocol.
Onset
Many patients experience an initial improvement in brightness and skin uniformity after the first few sessions, with more pronounced benefits on dark spots, texture, and tone typically visible over the full 4-session protocol and subsequent maintenance.
