Superficial anti-wrinkle AHA peel for normal skin

Description

FILLMED TIME PEEL 100 ml is a professional, superficial anti-aging chemical peel formulated for normal skin. Based on a 50% peel complex combining gluconolactone and glycolic acid at a highly acidic pH (≈1–1.4), it targets wrinkles, loss of firmness and skin dullness by promoting controlled exfoliation and epidermal renewal. Used exclusively by trained medical/aesthetic professionals, TIME PEEL reduces the appearance of wrinkles, improves firmness and restores radiance, and can be combined with other FILLMED treatments as part of a structured protocol.

Bnefits

• Reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on normal skin
• Improves skin firmness and helps reduce visible sagging
• Stimulates epidermal renewal for smoother skin texture
• Enhances skin radiance and luminosity, reducing dullness
• Uses gluconolactone for high-tolerance exfoliation suitable for a wide range of patients
• Glycolic acid provides effective keratolytic action and anti-ageing benefits
• Superficial peel with controlled depth and predictable clinical effects when used correctly
• Can be used prior to other FILLMED procedures (e.g. NCTF, Skin Perfusion) to optimise results
• Designed as part of a standardised peel range (TIME, LIGHT, BRIGHT) for tailored indications

Indications

• Wrinkles and fine lines in photoaged or chronologically aged skin
• Loss of firmness and early sagging of facial skin
• Dull, tired-looking skin lacking radiance and even tone
• Rough or uneven epidermal texture on face, neck and décolleté
• First to moderate signs of skin ageing on normal skin types
• Skin preparation and renewal before/alongside other aesthetic treatments

Composition

• Peel complex 50%: gluconolactone + glycolic acid
• Gluconolactone (polyhydroxy acid, PHA) – high-tolerance exfoliating acid improving texture while helping maintain skin comfort
• Glycolic acid (AHA) – low-molecular-weight acid targeting fine lines, wrinkles and rough texture
• Solution pH: approximately 1–1.4 (very acidic for effective superficial peeling)
• Aqueous solution with buffering and stabilising excipients; full INCI available in the official FILLMED TIME PEEL Instructions for Use (IFU)

Formulation

• Medical superficial peel solution for normal skin
• 50% AHA/PHA complex (gluconolactone + glycolic acid) in aqueous solution
• Low pH (~1–1.4) for controlled keratolytic activity
• Liquid peel designed for brush application in a clinic setting
• Intended strictly for in-office use by authorised healthcare professionals

Packaging

• 1 × 100 ml bottle of FILLMED TIME PEEL solution
• 1 × dosing tube (dispenser) for measuring approximately 2.5–3 ml per treatment
• 1 × application brush for even peel distribution
• Boxed kit containing bottle, dosing tube, brush and IFU; provides approximately 40 peel treatments when used as directed

Usage

• Professional use only: FILLMED TIME PEEL must be applied exclusively by authorised and trained medical/aesthetic professionals in accordance with local legislation.
• STEP 1 – PREPARE: Cleanse the skin and remove make-up. Apply FILLMED PRE PEEL with cotton pads/compresses to degrease and pre-acidify the skin (pH≈4). Allow to dry.
• STEP 2 – PEEL APPLICATION: Measure approximately 2.5–3 ml of TIME PEEL solution into the dosing tube.
• Using the supplied brush, apply a uniform layer of TIME PEEL over the treatment area (face, and optionally neck and décolleté) avoiding eyes, mucous membranes and any broken/irritated skin.
• Leave the peel in contact with the skin for about 3 minutes for the first session. Subsequent sessions may adjust contact time slightly based on skin response and protocol.
• Monitor the skin throughout for erythema, burning or discomfort; if excessive, shorten the contact time and proceed to neutralisation.
• STEP 3 – NEUTRALISE: Apply FILLMED POST PEEL with cotton pads/compresses to neutralise and normalise pH, then rinse thoroughly with water.
• Gently pat dry and apply a suitable post-procedure soothing cream (e.g. Skin Perfusion B3-RECOVERY CREAM) and high SPF sun protection.
• Standard protocol: 4 sessions spaced about 14–15 days apart (≈2 weeks), followed by maintenance courses approximately twice per year or as clinically indicated.
• Instruct patients to avoid intense sun exposure, sunbeds, saunas, and strong topical irritants (e.g. retinoids, scrubs) for several days after each peel, and to use daily high-SPF sunscreen and gentle skincare.
• Always refer to the latest official FILLMED TIME PEEL IFU for detailed instructions, contraindications, and precautions.

Contraindications

• Known hypersensitivity or allergy to gluconolactone, glycolic acid, or any other ingredient in the peel
• Active skin infections (bacterial, viral, fungal) or inflammatory dermatoses (e.g. eczema, psoriasis) in the treatment area
• Broken, irritated, sunburned or severely compromised skin barrier on intended treatment sites
• History of hypertrophic or keloid scarring or very poor wound healing, unless carefully assessed by a clinician
• Recent deep chemical peel, dermabrasion, ablative laser or similar aggressive procedures on the same area (until complete healing is achieved)
• Use of photosensitising medications or recent significant UV exposure without adequate protection, as judged by the practitioner
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding (commonly listed as not recommended/contraindicated due to limited data)
• Autoimmune disease or immunosuppression where chemical peels may pose increased risk, unless physician deems appropriate with precautions
• Darker Fitzpatrick phototypes may have higher risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and must be assessed and treated with caution or with alternative peels
• Any general medical condition that, in the clinician’s judgement, makes superficial chemical peeling unsafe

Adverse Effects

• Transient burning, tingling or stinging sensation during application
• Temporary erythema (redness) and mild oedema immediately after peeling
• Dryness, tightness, desquamation or flaking of the treated skin over subsequent days
• Inappropriate use or overexposure may increase risk of prolonged erythema, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, or, rarely, scarring
• Rare allergic or irritant contact dermatitis to one of the ingredients
• If unexpected severe pain, blistering, intense swelling or persistent pigmentary changes occur, treatment should be discontinued and appropriate medical management initiated

Storage Conditions

• Store in original packaging, protected from light.
• Keep at controlled room temperature, generally between about 8°C and 25°C; do not freeze.
• Ensure bottle is tightly closed when not in use to minimise oxidation and contamination.
• Do not use after the expiry date printed on the bottle/carton or if the solution appears altered.
• Keep out of reach of children and non-professional users.

Duration

Typically administered as a course of 4 peel sessions spaced approximately 14–15 days apart (total treatment period around 6–8 weeks). Maintenance courses are generally recommended twice per year, depending on the patient’s skin condition and clinical judgement.

Onset

Many patients see improvements in radiance and skin texture after the first one or two sessions, with more visible reductions in wrinkles and improvements in firmness typically evident after completing the 4-session course and maintained with periodic maintenance treatments.
