At-home chemical peel / exfoliating pads

Description

Daily home-use peel pads from the NeoStrata Resurface range containing 10% Glycolic Acid and patented Aminofil® in a hydro-alcoholic solution. Designed to build the benefits of a professional peel into a daily routine, this one-step chemical peel helps exfoliate, clarify pores, refine skin texture, improve skin tone and visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The fragrance-free, oil-free solution is poured over a jar of 36 dry pads and used once daily, with no rinsing or neutralisation required.

Bnefits

  • Patented Aminofil® helps build skin’s natural volume, visibly reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Helps minimise the appearance of enlarged pores and smooths skin surface for a more even complexion.
  • Leaves skin looking fresher, healthier and more luminous with continued use.
  • Easy one-step pad application that does not require rinsing or neutralising.
  • Fragrance-free, oil-free and paraben-free hydro-alcoholic solution (contains ~5% alcohol).

  • Intended for home use as part of an anti-ageing or resurfacing skincare regimen.

Usage

  • Before first use, pour the entire 60 ml bottle of solution onto the jar of 36 dry pads, ensuring all pads are fully saturated. Discard the empty bottle.
  • In the evening, after cleansing and drying the face, wipe one saturated pad over the entire face, avoiding the eye and lip areas.
  • Gently massage any remaining fluid into the skin; do not rinse or neutralise.
  • Follow with a NeoStrata cream or other suitable moisturiser as desired.
  • Initially, product may be used once weekly and then gradually increased to every other day or daily use as tolerated, especially for new AHA users or sensitive individuals.
  • Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using this product and for at least a week afterwards, due to increased photosensitivity from AHA use.
  • If excessive irritation occurs, reduce frequency of use or discontinue and consult a skincare professional.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to Glycolic Acid, Aminofil® (Acetyl Tyrosinamide), alcohol, phenoxyethanol, chlorphenesin or any other listed ingredient.
  • Very sensitive, rosacea-prone or highly reactive skin may not tolerate daily AHA peels.
  • Do not apply to broken, inflamed, eczematous or sunburnt skin.
  • Use with caution in conjunction with other strong exfoliants, retinoids or in-office procedures unless supervised by a professional.
  • Not for use around or in the eyes, on lips, or on mucous membranes; for external use only.

Adverse Effects

  • Common AHA-related sensations such as mild stinging, tingling, burning or warmth on application, particularly when first introduced.
  • Temporary dryness, redness or flaking may occur as the skin adjusts to regular exfoliation.
  • Increased sensitivity to sunlight and greater risk of sunburn if adequate photoprotection is not used.
  • In rare cases, more marked irritation, dermatitis or allergic reactions may develop; discontinue use and seek medical advice if significant redness, swelling, itching or rash occurs.
  • Overuse or misuse (e.g., applying to compromised skin or combining with multiple aggressive actives) can increase the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, especially in darker skin types.

Storage Conditions

  • Store at room temperature, typically between 15–25 °C, away from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
  • Keep the jar tightly closed after pads are saturated to minimise evaporation of the hydro-alcoholic solution.
  • Do not freeze.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Duration

Designed for long-term, ongoing daily or near-daily use as tolerated as part of a comprehensive anti-ageing regimen; no fixed course length is specified.

Onset

Skin often feels smoother and more refined after the first few uses; visible improvements in texture, tone and fine lines are typically observed over several weeks of consistent use (e.g., 8\u201312 weeks within an AHA regimen).
