Non-injectable TCA-based biorevitalising peel (single 4 ml vial)

Description

PRX-T33 4ml is a CE-marked, non-injectable bio-revitalising peel that combines 33% trichloroacetic acid (TCA), low-concentration hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) and 5% kojic acid in a patented Class I medical device formulation. Applied topically with firm massage rather than needles, it induces intense dermal biostimulation, collagen production and skin remodelling without damaging the epidermis, causing frosting or significant visible peeling. The treatment restores the skin’s natural radiance, improves texture and firmness, prevents dermal ageing and helps treat scars, stretch marks and hyperpigmentation, while remaining virtually painless and requiring no downtime. PRX-T33 4ml vials are intended for professional in-clinic use on the face, neck, décolletage and body and can be safely used all year round with no significant risk of photosensitivity.

Bnefits

  • Needle-free biorevitalisation that stimulates the dermis without injuring the epidermis or causing visible frosting.
  • Immediate tightening and improved skin turgor after treatment, with progressive enhancement of firmness and elasticity over a course of sessions.
  • Minimal to no visible peeling, allowing a no-downtime procedure compatible with normal daily activities.
  • Helps prevent and treat dermal ageing by promoting neocollagenesis and dermal remodelling.
  • Improves the appearance of atrophic scars and stretch marks on the face and body.
  • Addresses melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation through keratolytic action and kojic acid’s depigmenting effect.
  • Suitable for all skin types and phototypes and can be used in all seasons, with no significant photosensitising effect.
  • Can be combined with other aesthetic procedures (e.g. microneedling, mesotherapy, injectables, radiofrequency, lasers) to enhance overall results.

Indications

  • Bio-revitalisation and beautification of the skin of the face, neck and décolletage.
  • Treatment of facial and décolletage skin elastosis (loss of elasticity and firmness).
  • Prevention and treatment of dermal ageing (photoageing and chronoageing).
  • Recent depressed scars (e.g. acne and chickenpox scars) once fully re-epithelialised.
  • Recent stretch marks and hypotonic or relaxed skin on the body (e.g. arms, breasts, abdomen, thighs).
  • Melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
  • Improvement of dull, uneven skin tone and rough texture.
  • Adjunctive treatment in combined aesthetic protocols to enhance skin quality and response.

  • Kojic acid 5%
  • Aqueous solution with stabilisers and excipients suitable for topical medical use (proprietary vehicle)

Formulation

  • Transparent, water-like topical solution supplied in sterile 4 ml glass vials.
  • Patented Class I medical device formula combining 33% TCA, low-concentration hydrogen peroxide and 5% kojic acid.
  • Non-ablative, non-photosensitising TCA-based biorevitaliser designed for repeated in-clinic application.

Packaging

  • Single 4 ml glass vial of PRX-T33 solution (professional format).
  • Vial with pierceable rubber stopper to allow product withdrawal with a needle and syringe for topical application.
  • Outer packaging (when supplied as part of a multi-vial box) carries CE mark, Class I medical device designation, batch number and expiry date.

Usage

  • For professional use only; treatment must be performed by trained medical or aesthetic practitioners familiar with PRX-T33 protocols.
  • Thoroughly cleanse the treatment area (face, neck, décolletage or body) with a suitable pre-peel cleanser or the recommended WiQo P-Solution, then dry completely.
  • Perforate the vial stopper with a sterile needle (e.g. 18G), withdraw the required amount of solution into a syringe and dispense onto gloved fingertips or a rubber-tipped spatula.
  • Apply PRX-T33 to the skin in small amounts, massaging firmly with gloved hands or spatula using upward and crosswise movements until the product is absorbed and skin turgor increases.
  • Apply 2–5 layers depending on the thickness and condition of the skin and the indication; sensitive or delicate areas (e.g. lower eyelids) should receive fewer layers (often only one).
  • Once the desired biorevitalising effect and skin firmness are reached, rinse the treated area thoroughly with water or remove residue with damp cotton pads.
  • After rinsing, apply a nourishing and moisturising cream (e.g. WiQo post-treatment creams) to restore the hydro-lipid barrier and soothe the skin.
  • Standard protocols usually involve 1 session per week for a series of 3–5 sessions for facial revitalisation; indications such as scars or stretch marks may require additional sessions at weekly intervals, according to the official protocol and practitioner judgement.
  • Advise the patient to use recommended home-care products (such as WiQo Smoothing Fluid and WiQo Moisturizing Cream) and broad-spectrum sunscreen daily between sessions.
  • Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, open wounds or severely irritated skin; in case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with copious water.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to trichloroacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, kojic acid or any other component of the formulation.
  • Active skin infections (bacterial, viral or fungal), open wounds, active herpes simplex lesions or significant inflammatory dermatoses in the treatment area.
  • Compromised epidermal barrier due to recent aggressive procedures (deep chemical peels, ablative lasers, dermabrasion) or severe sunburn in the intended treatment area.
  • History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring where chemical or biorevitalising stimulation is judged high risk by the treating physician.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding, unless a suitably qualified physician decides otherwise in line with local regulations.
  • Recent or ongoing systemic isotretinoin therapy or other medications for which chemical peels or TCA-based treatments are contraindicated under current guidelines.
  • Severe systemic diseases, autoimmune conditions or immunosuppression where the clinician considers PRX-T33 inappropriate.
  • Any general contraindication to chemical peel or biorevitalisation procedures identified during medical history and clinical assessment.

Adverse Effects

  • Transient stinging, burning or warmth in the treated area during application, usually resolving shortly after product removal.
  • Temporary erythema, mild oedema or tightness following treatment.
  • Occasional mild flaking or very fine peeling in some patients, especially in photodamaged or thicker skin areas.
  • Risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, particularly in darker phototypes or if adequate photoprotection is not used after treatment.
  • Rarely, prolonged irritation, dermatitis or superficial erosions if used on contraindicated skin, in excessive layers or with incorrect technique.
  • As with all topical medical products, uncommon allergic or idiosyncratic reactions may occur in sensitive individuals.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in the original packaging at controlled room temperature, as specified on the carton and vial (typically in a cool, dry place).
  • Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and freezing.
  • Keep vials tightly closed and use only if the solution is clear and within the stated expiry date.
  • Do not use if the vial is damaged, leaking or shows signs of contamination or discolouration.
  • Keep out of reach of children and unauthorised persons; for professional use only.

Duration

Each session typically lasts about 10\u201320 minutes depending on the size of the area and number of layers applied. A standard course usually consists of 3\u20135 weekly sessions for facial and neck revitalisation, with longer or repeated courses for scars, stretch marks or more advanced photoageing, followed by periodic maintenance sessions according to clinical response.

Onset

Immediate improvement in skin turgor, tightness and radiance is usually noticeable at the end of the first session. Progressive enhancement in firmness, texture, fine lines, scars and dyschromia develops over the subsequent weeks and sessions as collagen remodelling and dermal biostimulation continue.
