Non-injectable TCA-based biorevitalising peel

Description

PRX-T33 is a CE-marked, non-injectable bio-revitalising peel that combines 33% trichloroacetic acid (TCA), low-concentration hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) and 5% kojic acid in a patented Class I medical device formulation. Applied with a firm massage rather than needles, it induces intense dermal biostimulation and neocollagenesis without damaging the epidermis, causing frosting or visible peeling. The treatment restores skin radiance, improves texture and firmness, and helps treat scars, stretch marks and hyperpigmentation, while remaining virtually painless with no downtime and no photosensitising effect, so it can be used safely all year round. Each box contains 5 x 4 ml vials for professional use on the face, neck, décolletage and body.

Bnefits

  • Non-injectable, needle-free biorevitalisation that stimulates the dermis without damaging the epidermis or causing frost.
  • Immediate tightening and palpable turgor of the skin after treatment, with progressive improvement in firmness and elasticity.
  • Minimises or eliminates visible peeling, allowing a no-downtime procedure compatible with daily activities and social life.
  • Promotes dermal remodelling and neocollagenesis, helping to prevent and treat signs of dermal ageing.
  • Improves the appearance of scars and stretch marks by stimulating fibroblasts and growth factors.
  • Helps treat melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, thanks in part to kojic acid’s depigmenting effect.
  • Suitable for all skin types, both sexes and a wide age range; can be used in all seasons with no significant risk of photosensitivity.
  • Can be used alone or in combination with other aesthetic treatments (e.g. microneedling, injectables, lasers, PRP, PDO threads, RF) to enhance results.

Indications

  • Bio-revitalisation of the face and neck in photoaged or atrophic skin.
  • Improvement of skin laxity and elastosis on the face, neck and décolletage.
  • Treatment and prevention of dermal ageing in middle-aged and older patients.
  • Recent depressed scars (e.g. acne, chickenpox, impetigo) after full re-epithelialisation.
  • Recent stretch marks and hypotonic or relaxed skin on the body (including breast and trunk areas).
  • Melasma and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
  • General skin tone and texture improvement for dull, uneven or rough skin.

Composition

  • Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) 33%
  • Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) – low concentration, regulated in the patented formula
  • Kojic acid 5%
  • Aqueous vehicle and excipients suitable for topical medical-use application (proprietary blend)

Formulation

  • Clear, water-like topical solution in sterile 4 ml glass vials.
  • Patented Class I medical device formulation combining 33% TCA, low-concentration H2O2 and 5% kojic acid.
  • Non-photosensitising, non-ablative TCA-based biorevitaliser intended for professional in-clinic use.

Packaging

  • Box containing 5 x 4 ml glass vials of PRX-T33 solution.
  • Each vial is intended for topical use during one or more treatment areas in a single session according to professional protocol.
  • Outer carton and vial labelling include CE mark, Class I medical device designation, batch number and expiry date for traceability.

Usage

  • For professional use only; treatment must be carried out by trained medical or aesthetic practitioners familiar with PRX-T33 protocols.
  • Cleanse the treatment area thoroughly (face, neck, décolletage or body) with a suitable pre-peel cleanser or the recommended P-Solution, then dry the skin carefully.
  • Apply PRX-T33 to the skin in small quantities and massage firmly into the skin using gloved hands, a rubber-tipped spatula or brush, with upward and crosswise movements.
  • Apply 2–5 layers depending on skin thickness and indication; each layer is massaged until the product is absorbed and increasing skin turgor/firmness is observed.
  • Once the desired effect is obtained (visible and/or palpable firmness), rinse the treated area thoroughly with water or damp cotton pads to remove product residue.
  • After rinsing, apply a nourishing and moisturising cream (e.g. WiQo post-treatment creams) to help restore the hydro-lipid barrier and comfort the skin.
  • Typical facial/neck revitalisation protocols use 1 session per week for approximately 1–5 sessions; body indications such as stretch marks or scar treatment may require more sessions at weekly intervals, according to the official protocol and clinical judgement.
  • Following treatment, advise patients to use recommended home-care products (such as WiQo smoothing or nourishing creams) and daily broad-spectrum sun protection, even though PRX-T33 itself is non-photosensitising.
  • Avoid applying on mucous membranes, eyes, or areas with compromised barrier; if accidental contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
  • Do not mix in the vial with other products; PRX-T33 is applied as supplied, directly on the skin.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to trichloroacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, kojic acid or any component of the formulation.
  • Active skin infections, open wounds, active herpes simplex lesions or significant inflammatory dermatoses (e.g. acute eczema, psoriasis flare) in the treatment area.
  • Compromised epidermal barrier due to recent aggressive procedures (deep peels, ablative lasers, dermabrasion) or severe sunburn.
  • History of keloid formation or abnormal scarring where chemical stimulation is considered high risk by the treating physician.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding, unless a suitably qualified physician considers treatment appropriate within local regulations.
  • Recent use of systemic isotretinoin or other medications where chemical peels/biorevitalisers are contraindicated according to current guidelines.
  • Autoimmune or systemic diseases, or use of immunosuppressive therapies, where the clinician judges that PRX-T33 is unsuitable.
  • Any general contraindication to chemical peels or biorevitalisation procedures identified in the patient’s medical history or by local clinical protocols.

Adverse Effects

  • Transient erythema, warmth, stinging or burning sensation during application, usually resolving shortly after treatment.
  • Temporary tightness, mild oedema or sensitivity of the treated area.
  • Occasional fine flaking or minimal peeling in some patients, particularly in areas with thicker or more photodamaged skin.
  • Risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, especially in darker skin phototypes or if sun protection is inadequate after treatment.
  • Rare risk of prolonged irritation, dermatitis or superficial erosions if the protocol is not correctly followed or if applied on contraindicated skin.
  • As with any topical medical device treatment, unexpected sensitivity or allergic-type reactions may occur in predisposed individuals.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place at controlled room temperature as indicated on the carton (typically in the low-to-mid room temperature range, avoiding extremes).
  • Protect vials from direct sunlight, excessive heat and freezing.
  • Keep vials tightly closed until use; do not use if the vial is damaged, leaking or if the solution appears altered.
  • Do not use after the expiry date stated on the vial and outer packaging.
  • Keep out of reach of children and unauthorised persons; for professional use only.

Duration

A basic course typically consists of 1\u20135 weekly sessions for facial and neck revitalisation, with more extended protocols (e.g. 4\u20138 or more weekly sessions) for recent scars, stretch marks or hypotonic body skin, as directed by the official protocol and practitioner assessment. Maintenance treatments may be performed periodically according to clinical results and patient needs.

Onset

Immediate palpable turgor and tightening can usually be felt at the end of the first session, with progressive improvement in tone, texture and radiance over subsequent sessions and in the weeks following the treatment course as collagen remodelling continues.
