Under-eye and crow's feet micro-channelling patch and hyaluronic acid serum system

Description

Radara Skin Rejuvenation is a one-month, three-step anti-ageing regimen that combines unique micro-channelling patches with a separate high-purity hyaluronic acid (HA) serum to target fine lines and wrinkles around the eye area. The ultra-thin, flexible polymer patches are coated with microscopic plastic structures (similar to microneedles) less than 0.5 mm long, which painlessly create thousands of tiny micro-channels in the epidermis. This ‘micro-needling’ effect stimulates natural collagen production and allows the specially formulated HA serum to penetrate more deeply into the skin, restoring elasticity, hydration and support. Used once daily for four weeks, Radara smooths and firms the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles while improving overall skin quality with no needles, pain or downtime. Each pack contains a one-month supply of single-use patches and HA serum for home use under professional guidance.

Bnefits

  • Targets fine lines and wrinkles around the under-eye and crow’s feet area.
  • Unique micro-channelling patches create thousands of microscopic channels to encourage new collagen formation.
  • High-purity, naturally derived hyaluronic acid serum penetrates deeper into the skin for enhanced hydration and support.
  • Improves skin elasticity, hydration and firmness, giving a smoother, more youthful appearance.
  • Non-invasive, needle-free approach to skin rejuvenation with minimal discomfort.
  • Patches are painless, with microscopic plastic structures less than 0.5 mm in length.
  • Clinical data show average wrinkle reduction of around 35% after four weeks, with initial improvements often seen from two weeks.
  • Benefits can continue for at least four weeks after completing the four-week course, due to ongoing collagen and skin-quality improvements.
  • Designed as a convenient, once-daily at-home regimen that fits easily into an evening skincare routine.
  • Can be used alone or alongside in-clinic aesthetic treatments (e.g. injectables, peels, lasers) to enhance and maintain results.

Indications

  • Anti-ageing treatment for the delicate skin around the eyes, particularly under-eye lines and crow’s feet (lateral canthal lines).
  • Patients seeking improvement in fine lines, wrinkles, and loss of elasticity around the outer eye area without injections.
  • Individuals who prefer a needle-free, at-home regimen to complement or extend the results of professional aesthetic procedures.
  • Suitable for a wide range of adult skin types (dry, normal, oily, sensitive) where improved hydration and skin quality are desired in the peri-ocular area.

Composition

  • Micro-channelling patches: ultra-thin, flexible polymer patches coated with microscopic plastic structures (micro-projections) less than 0.5 mm in length.
  • Patch material: proprietary polymer film designed for skin contact (exact polymer not publicly disclosed).
  • Microscopic structures: cone-shaped plastic micro-projections that create transient micro-channels in the epidermis; non-metallic and non-absorbable.
  • Serum active ingredient: high-purity, naturally derived hyaluronic acid (HA) comprising both low and medium molecular weight fractions.
  • Serum base: cosmetic-grade excipients (humectants, stabilisers, and vehicle ingredients) formulated to support HA delivery (full INCI list not publicly disclosed).
  • Preservatives: cosmetic-grade preservative system appropriate for an eye-area serum (specific components not publicly disclosed).
  • Free from needles, injectable fillers and cross-linked HA; HA is topical and non cross-linked.

Formulation

  • System type: home-use micro-channelling patch and topical HA serum regimen for the eye area.
  • Treatment area: outer eye (crow’s feet) and under-eye area, depending on specific patch design supplied.
  • Patches: ergonomically shaped for left and right eye; single-use micro-channelling patches with no adhesive (held in place by serum and skin contact).
  • Microstructure length: <0.5 mm, designed to reach into the upper epidermis without drawing blood.
  • Serum: high-purity hyaluronic acid serum containing a blend of low and medium molecular weight HA for deeper hydration.
  • Regimen length: four-week (one-month) once-daily treatment course.
  • Pack contents (Teleta/standard Radara pack): 30 single-use patches (typically used as pairs per day) and a separate pump dispenser of HA serum (volume not publicly disclosed).
  • Application schedule: once daily, ideally in the evening, for four consecutive weeks.
  • Recommendation: course may be repeated three to four times per year for maintenance of results, as per manufacturer’s patient information leaflet.

Packaging

  • Outer carton containing the Radara Skin Rejuvenation system for a four-week course.
  • Individually packaged, specially shaped micro-channelling patches arranged as daily units (left and right eye) for 30 days (30 patches in the Teleta-listed configuration; other retail packs commonly described as 30 pairs).
  • Separate HA serum supplied in a pump dispenser for controlled, single-pump daily dosing.
  • Pack labelling includes Radara branding, usage overview, treatment duration, batch number and expiry date.
  • Patient information leaflet included with detailed step-by-step instructions, safety information and manufacturer contact details.

Usage

  • Use once daily, ideally in the evening, on clean, dry skin as part of your normal skincare routine.
  • Step 1 – Cleanse: Thoroughly cleanse the face, ensuring all dirt, make-up and excess oil are removed from the eye area. Pat the skin dry gently.
  • Step 2 – Apply patches to create micro-channels: Remove a set of Radara patches from the pack, noting the correct patch for each side of the face. Place the patch on the outer eye area and gently smooth over the surface with a fingertip for around five seconds. You should feel a mild, painless prickling or tingling sensation as micro-channels are created.
  • Step 3 – Remove patches: Carefully remove each patch and place it aside, microstructure side up, keeping it clean for reapplication in the next step.
  • Step 4 – Apply HA serum: Use the separate pump dispenser to dispense one pump of hyaluronic acid serum onto a clean fingertip for each eye area. Smooth the serum firmly over the prepared skin where the patch was applied, focusing on crow’s feet and under-eye lines while avoiding direct contact with the eyes.
  • Step 5 – Re-apply patches: Reapply the appropriate patch to each outer eye area over the serum and leave in place for approximately five minutes to allow the HA serum to flow through the micro-channels into the deeper skin layers. Try to keep facial movements minimal so the patches remain in place.
  • Step 6 – Remove and dispose: After five minutes, remove the patches and discard them; patches are strictly single-use and must not be reused. Gently wipe away any remaining excess serum if desired, or allow it to absorb fully.
  • Follow the same procedure every evening for four weeks. Do not extend the wear time significantly beyond the recommended period unless advised by a professional.
  • If this is the first time using the serum pump, prime the dispenser once before first use as directed in the leaflet.
  • Avoid direct contact of patches or serum with the eyes. If product enters the eyes, rinse well with water. If persistent irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek professional advice.

Contraindications

  • Known allergy or hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or any other component of the patches or serum.
  • Broken, irritated, inflamed or infected skin in the intended treatment area (e.g. active dermatitis, eczema flare, infection, open wounds) unless cleared by a healthcare professional.
  • Active eye conditions affecting the peri-ocular area (e.g. conjunctivitis, severe dry eye with surrounding inflammation) where additional topical products may be inappropriate.
  • Recent aggressive procedures around the eyes (e.g. ablative laser, deep chemical peels, surgical interventions) unless the treating clinician has confirmed that Radara use is safe.
  • Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding has not been specifically studied; individuals in these groups should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before use.
  • Do not use if the product is expired, packaging is damaged, or patches/serum show visible signs of deterioration.

Adverse Effects

  • Clinical and post-market information indicate no significant or serious adverse effects were reported in trials when used as directed.
  • Mild, transient redness or erythema at the patch site is relatively common immediately after use and typically subsides within about 15 minutes.
  • Some users may experience temporary tingling or a mild scratching sensation during patch application due to micro-channelling, which should remain comfortable and short-lived.
  • As with any topical skincare product, there is a low risk of local irritation, dryness or sensitivity; if persistent discomfort, swelling, or rash occurs, discontinue use and seek professional advice.
  • Very rare allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to HA or other serum ingredients are possible; users should stop treatment and consult a healthcare professional if they experience symptoms such as persistent redness, itching, swelling, or burning.
  • Improper use (e.g. pressing excessively hard, using on broken skin, or re-using patches) may increase irritation risk and is not recommended.

Storage Conditions

  • Store the Radara pack in a cool, dry place at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Keep patches and serum in their original packaging until use to protect them from contamination and to preserve product integrity.
  • Ensure the serum pump is closed and protected with its cap (if provided) when not in use.
  • Do not freeze or expose to extreme temperatures, which may affect the polymer patches or serum consistency.
  • Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Do not use beyond the expiry date printed on the packaging.

Duration

Standard regimen is once-daily application for four weeks (one month). Manufacturer information suggests repeating the four-week course three to four times per year for ongoing maintenance, based on individual needs and professional advice.

Onset

Clinical and marketing information indicate noticeable improvements in fine lines and skin smoothness can often be seen from around two weeks of daily use, with average wrinkle reduction of approximately 35% after four weeks. Skin quality and wrinkle reduction benefits may continue to improve or persist for at least four weeks after completing the four-week regimen.
