Description
Relife Pigment Solution Program is a 3-in-1 cosmetic kit from RELIFE (Menarini Group) specifically formulated to reduce hyperpigmentation and even out skin tone. The program combines three complementary products in one box: Pigment Solution™ preparation cleanser (100 ml), Pigment Solution™ day cream (30 ml) and Pigment Solution™ night cream (30 ml). The preparation cleanser gently cleanses and prepares the skin with a blend of mild surfactants and soothing botanical oils. The day cream is a hydrating depigmentation adjuvant containing Aquaxyl™ (xylitylglucoside, anhydroxylitol, xylitol), kojic acid, vitamins A and E, and UV filters to help reduce the appearance of dark spots, support cell renewal, and protect the skin barrier. The night cream provides a double peeling effect (chemical with glycolic acid and mechanical with jojoba esters) to smooth skin texture and help even pigmentation on the skin surface. Used together morning and evening, the Pigment Solution Program offers a home-based, non-invasive cosmetic approach to managing melasma, sun spots and other forms of hyperpigmentation, suitable as an adjunct to professional dermatology and aesthetic care.

Formulation
- Cosmetic hyperpigmentation management kit containing three topical products for external use only.
- Pigment Solution™ day cream: hydrating and depigmentation adjuvant cream with Aquaxyl™ humectant complex, kojic acid, vitamin A (retinyl palmitate), vitamin E derivatives and UV filters.
- Pigment Solution™ night cream: exfoliating cream with a double peeling effect (chemical peel with glycolic acid and mechanical peel with jojoba esters) plus kojic acid and emollient oils.
- Pigment Solution™ preparation cleanser: gentle foaming liquid cleanser formulated with mild surfactants, lactic acid and a blend of essential oils (orange, tea tree, pine, lavender, thyme).

Usage
- General: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day when using depigmenting and exfoliating cosmetics.
- Morning regimen:
- 1. Gently cleanse the skin with Pigment Solution™ preparation cleanser. Apply to damp skin, massage in circular motions especially on areas affected by hyperpigmentation, then rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry.
- 2. Apply Pigment Solution™ day cream to clean, dry skin. Gently massage a thin, even layer over areas affected by hyperpigmentation (e.g. sun spots, age spots, photosensitivity spots) until fully absorbed.
- 3. Allow the day cream to absorb fully before applying sunscreen. A broad-spectrum sunscreen is recommended to help prevent further darkening of pigmented areas. Makeup can be applied after sunscreen.
- Evening regimen:
- 1. Gently cleanse the skin with Pigment Solution™ preparation cleanser as in the morning, taking care to remove makeup, sunscreen and impurities.
- 2. Apply Pigment Solution™ night cream at bedtime, massaging in circular motions into areas affected by hyperpigmentation (face and other exposed areas as directed). Avoid the immediate eye contour and any irritated areas.
- Frequency of use:
- – Preparation cleanser: Preferably twice daily (morning and evening) before applying the day or night cream.
- – Day cream: Once daily in the morning on cleansed skin, followed by sunscreen.
- – Night cream: Once daily in the evening on cleansed skin, unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
- Additional advice:
- – Introduce the night cream gradually on sensitive skin (e.g. every other night at first) due to the presence of glycolic acid.
- – Avoid excessive sun exposure and always use suitable sun protection while using the program.
- – Consult a dermatologist if you are under specific medical treatment for pigmentation or if you have very sensitive or reactive skin.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients in the cleanser, day cream or night cream (including glycolic acid, kojic acid, fragrances and essential oils).
- Do not apply to broken, inflamed or severely irritated skin (e.g. active eczema, dermatitis, sunburn) unless directed by a healthcare professional.
- Use with caution in individuals with very sensitive skin, rosacea or compromised skin barrier, particularly because of glycolic acid and fragrance-containing essential oils.
- Caution is advised in pregnant or breastfeeding individuals; consult a healthcare professional before using products containing retinoid derivatives (retinyl palmitate) and exfoliating acids.
- Not intended for use on children unless specifically recommended by a healthcare professional.
Adverse Effects
- Transient burning, stinging, tingling or warmth after application, particularly with the night cream containing glycolic acid.
- Temporary redness, dryness, tightness or peeling, especially during the first weeks of use or on sensitive skin.
- Increased photosensitivity due to exfoliating acids and depigmenting actives; inadequate sun protection may lead to irritation or worsening of pigmentation.
- Possible allergic or irritant contact dermatitis to one or more ingredients, including fragrance components or preservatives (e.g. phenoxyethanol, imidazolidinyl urea).
- In rare cases, paradoxical hyperpigmentation or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation if the skin becomes significantly irritated or inflamed.
Storage Conditions
- Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat.
- Keep containers tightly closed when not in use to protect the formulations from air and contamination.
- Do not freeze and avoid exposure to excessive heat.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Use within the period indicated by the expiry date and recommended ‘period after opening’ (PAO) symbol on individual product packaging.
Duration
Clinical evaluation data for the Pigment Solution Program report visible improvement in hyperpigmentation after approximately 28 days of once-daily use; in practice, the cosmetic program is generally recommended for at least 4 weeks of continuous twice-daily use and may be continued longer as advised by a dermatologist, depending on skin response and treatment goals.
Onset
Visible cosmetic improvement in dark spots and overall evenness of skin tone is typically observed after about 4 weeks of consistent use (based on usage tests with once-daily application over 28 days), although onset and degree of effect vary between individuals.
