Description

Dermastir Crystal Gommage Peel is a luxury facial exfoliant that uses microcrystals and lactic acid to gently remove impurities and dead skin cells from the epidermis. The formula combines physical exfoliation from polyethylene microcrystals with chemical exfoliation from lactic acid, alongside soothing extracts of chamomile and linden flower and nourishing sweet almond oil. Packaged in a 100 ml airless flask to protect the formula from air, light and contamination, it leaves the skin soft, smooth, radiant and renewed without the use of salts or sugars. Usage

Frequency: Typically used 1–2 times per week, or as recommended by a skincare professional, depending on skin type and tolerance.
1. Begin with clean, dry skin. Remove make-up and cleanse the face thoroughly, then pat the skin completely dry.
2. Dispense an appropriate amount of Dermastir Crystal Gommage Peel into clean hands.
3. Apply a thin, even layer to dry skin, avoiding the eye contour and mucous membranes.
4. Gently massage the product over the face using light circular motions for approximately one full minute. The microcrystals will provide a delicate scrubbing action while the actives work chemically.
5. After massaging, rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until all residue of the product and crystals is removed.
6. Gently pat the skin dry with a clean towel.
7. Follow with toner, serum and moisturiser or sunscreen according to your usual skincare routine.
8. For external use only. Do not apply to eyes, eyelids or mucous membranes. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
9. Discontinue use if severe irritation, burning or persistent redness occurs and consult a skincare professional.
10. During and after regular use of lactic acid–containing products, daily broad-spectrum sun protection is strongly recommended.

Contraindications

Do not use on broken, irritated, sunburnt or severely compromised skin barriers.
Avoid use in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients, particularly sweet almond oil (nut allergy) or chamomile (Asteraceae/Compositae family).
Use with caution on very sensitive or reactive skin and reduce frequency if excessive irritation occurs.
Not recommended during episodes of active dermatitis, eczema, rosacea flare-ups or other acute inflammatory skin conditions unless advised by a dermatologist.
Do not apply to the eye area, eyelids or mucous membranes (inside the nose or mouth).
Concurrent use with other strong exfoliants (e.g. high-strength AHAs/BHAs, retinoids, abrasive scrubs, in-office peels) may increase irritation risk; professional guidance is recommended.

Adverse Effects
