Usage

Have the unit installed and wall mounted by a suitably competent person, following HEINE’s installation instructions and local facility regulations.
Before first use, inspect the light, gooseneck and wall fixing for any transport damage or loose fittings; do not use if damaged.
Connect the luminaire to the specified mains power supply according to the instructions for use, ensuring any transformers or power units are correctly configured.
Switch the examination light on using the designated control and allow the LED to reach stable brightness (essentially immediate).
Grip the Cool-Touch lamp head or goose neck and position the light so that the beam falls directly and centrally on the examination field at the recommended working distance (~30 cm).
Use the flexible goose neck for fine adjustments, avoiding excessive force that could damage the arm or wall fixing.
After the examination or procedure, switch the light off using the control provided.
Clean and disinfect the closed head and exposed surfaces with suitable, manufacturer-approved disinfectant wipes or solutions, following HEINE’s reprocessing guidance.
Perform regular visual checks of the wall mount, gooseneck and cable routing to ensure continued safe operation and stability.
