Scalpel Handles

Description

The Swann-Morton No. 3 Graduated Stainless Steel Handle is a reusable surgical scalpel handle with engraved measurement markings on the reverse side. Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel in the UK, it is designed to fit standard No. 3 fitment blades and is widely used in surgery, podiatry, dermatology and aesthetic procedures. The graduated scale assists with training, site marking and measurement of incisions or lesions, while the slim ergonomic profile allows precise control for delicate cutting. Handles are supplied individually packed, non-sterile and are fully autoclavable.

Bnefits

  • High-quality stainless steel construction for durability and long service life.
  • Graduated scale on the reverse side to assist with training, marking of surgical sites and measurement of incisions or lesions.
  • Standard No. 3 fitment compatible with a wide range of scalpel blade sizes commonly used in medical and aesthetic practice.
  • Ergonomic, slim profile handle for precise control during delicate surgical and dermatological procedures.
  • Fully autoclavable and reusable, supporting standard sterilisation protocols in clinics and hospitals.
  • Individually packed non-sterile handles, allowing controlled introduction into existing sterile processing workflows.
  • Suitable for use across multiple specialities, including general surgery, podiatry, dermatology and aesthetic medicine.

Indications

  • Use as a scalpel handle to hold compatible Swann-Morton and other No. 3 fitment blades for surgical and minor procedure incisions.
  • Dermatology and aesthetic medicine procedures such as lesion excision, skin surgery and dermaplaning (using appropriate blades and protocols).
  • Podiatry and chiropody procedures requiring precise tissue cutting or debridement.
  • Training and teaching settings where the graduated scale assists with site marking and measurement.
  • General clinical and laboratory use where a fine, controlled scalpel handle is required.
