Description

Cytocare 532 by Laboratoire Revitacare is an advanced mesotherapy skin booster composed of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid (32 mg per 5 ml vial) combined with the CT50 Rejuvenating Complex (a multi-ingredient cocktail of vitamins, amino acids, minerals, nucleosides and antioxidants). Supplied in a convenient 10 x 5 ml box, this sterile, pyrogen-free resorbable implant is injected into the superficial to mid-dermis (and in some protocols mid-deep dermis) to improve skin quality in advanced/mature skin types. Usage

  • Cytocare 532 must be used only by licensed medical doctors or appropriately trained healthcare professionals experienced in facial anatomy and mesotherapy injection techniques.
  • Inject into the superficial to mid-dermis (or mid-deep dermis per selected protocol) of the face, and into suitable dermal depths of neck and décolletage, using strict aseptic technique.
  • Common injection techniques include nappage, point-by-point, linear threading and cross-hatching; the technique and depth are adapted to the area treated and the indication (wrinkle filling, hydration, radiance).
  • It can be delivered via classic needle mesotherapy or, in some clinic protocols, combined with microneedling devices (dermarollers or microneedling pens) for surface biorevitalisation, always respecting manufacturer guidance and local regulations.
  • Typical treatment areas include facial wrinkles and crow’s feet, as well as delicate regions such as neck and décolletage; avoid injection into lips, under-eye bags, glabellar region and intravascular structures.
  • A standard revitalisation programme often consists of an initial course of several sessions (for example 3 sessions spaced around 3 weeks apart), personalised by the practitioner according to age, photodamage and clinical goals.
  • The volume per session is tailored by the practitioner; up to one 5 ml vial may be used for full-face or combined face/neck treatment, depending on patient needs and tolerance.
  • Maintenance sessions are usually performed every 3–6 months to sustain improvements in hydration, elasticity and radiance, with exact intervals adjusted to the individual.
  • After treatment, patients are typically advised to avoid applying makeup for at least 12 hours, and to avoid direct sun exposure, saunas, hammams, intense heat or cold and vigorous exercise for several days.
  • Syringes/needles and vials are single-use only; any unused product must be discarded safely according to local sharps and medical waste regulations.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid or any component of Cytocare 532 (including CT50 complex ingredients such as vitamins, amino acids, nucleosides or excipients)
  • Presence of active skin infection, inflammation, lesions or dermatological disease at or near the intended injection sites
  • History of autoimmune disease or ongoing immunotherapy, in line with manufacturer precautions
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • Patients under 18 years of age
  • Uncontrolled systemic illnesses (e.g. poorly controlled diabetes, severe systemic infections) where intradermal injections are inadvisable
  • Active herpes simplex or other recurrent infectious dermatoses in the planned treatment area
  • Known tendency to keloid or hypertrophic scarring, or very superficial/fragile vasculature in treatment zones
  • Relative contraindications in patients with coagulation disorders or those receiving anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy, requiring careful medical risk–benefit assessment

Adverse Effects

  • Transient injection-site reactions such as erythema (redness), oedema (swelling), tenderness, mild pain, warmth or itching
  • Small bruises or hematomas at needle entry points, particularly in highly vascular regions like periorbital areas, usually resolving within a few days
  • Temporary papules, small nodules or irregularities at injection sites due to intradermal product deposits, generally resolving spontaneously or after gentle massage
  • Occasional sensations of tightness, mild soreness or discomfort in treated areas, typically short-lived
  • Rare hypersensitivity reactions, including prolonged redness, swelling, pruritus or more generalised allergic manifestations requiring medical evaluation and management
  • Risk of local infection or abscess formation if aseptic technique is not strictly adhered to
  • Very rare but serious risks associated with injectable procedures, such as inadvertent intravascular injection leading to vascular compromise and potential skin necrosis or other complications; proper injection technique and immediate management are essential
  • As with all invasive aesthetic procedures, there is a small risk of unforeseen adverse events; informed consent and appropriate follow-up are required

Storage Conditions

  • Store between 2°C and 30°C in a clean, dry environment.
  • Do not freeze.
  • Keep vials in their original carton to protect from light until use.
  • Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging, and do not use if the vial or its seal is damaged or if the solution appears cloudy or contains particles.
  • Use each vial immediately after opening; do not re-sterilise or reuse.
  • Keep out of the reach of children and dispose of used vials, needles and other sharps in accordance with local regulations for medical waste.

Duration

A complete mesotherapy course commonly involves an initial series of sessions (e.g. around 3 treatments spaced approximately 3 weeks apart), with clinical improvements building progressively over this period and consolidating over 3\u20136 months. Maintenance sessions at intervals of roughly 3\u20136 months are recommended to preserve hydration, elasticity, radiance and fine-line correction, with exact duration and frequency individualised by the treating practitioner.

Onset

Patients may notice increased hydration and a subtle improvement in radiance shortly after the first treatment, with more visible softening of fine lines, improved texture and enhanced glow emerging over the subsequent weeks. Optimal outcomes generally become apparent after completion of an initial treatment course and can persist for several months before gradual diminution if maintenance is not performed.
