Usage

  • Cytocare S Line must be injected in an aseptic manner by a duly qualified medical doctor or healthcare professional experienced in facial anatomy and intradermal injection techniques.
  • Inject by micro-injections into the superficial and medium dermis of the indicated areas, especially peri-orbital fine lines and perioral lines such as vertical lip lines; some protocols also include other delicate facial zones with fine lines.
  • Typical techniques include point-by-point, nappage, linear threading and cross-hatching, chosen according to skin condition and treatment area.
  • For simple fine-line filling and lightening, protocols commonly describe 1 treatment session, with volumes tailored by the practitioner within the 3 ml syringe content.
  • For intense and longer-lasting revitalisation, many protocols recommend 3 sessions performed at approximately 3-week intervals.
  • Subsequent maintenance sessions are usually performed every 3–5 months, depending on skin maturity, lifestyle and patient expectations.
  • Do not inject into blood vessels, into inflamed or infected skin, or into areas contraindicated by the manufacturer; avoid intramuscular or subcutaneous bolus injections as this product is intended for intradermal use.
  • After treatment, practitioners generally advise patients to avoid makeup for at least 12 hours and to avoid saunas, intense heat or cold exposure, and direct UV exposure for several days.
  • The syringe is single-use only; any unused product must be discarded according to local medical waste regulations.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid or any component of Cytocare S Line (including the Rejuvenating Complex)
  • Presence of skin disease, infection, inflammation or any alteration at or near the intended injection site
  • History of auto-immune diseases or patients currently receiving immunotherapy (as listed in the manufacturer’s instructions for use)
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women
  • Patients under 18 years of age
  • Patients with active or recurrent herpes or other infectious dermatoses in the treatment area
  • Patients with uncontrolled systemic disease or severe acute illness where intradermal injections are inadvisable
  • Relative contraindications and precautions common to injectable hyaluronic acid procedures, such as bleeding disorders or anticoagulant therapy, should be evaluated by the treating physician

Adverse Effects

  • Transient injection-site reactions such as redness (erythema), swelling, tenderness, pain, itching and warmth at the treated area
  • Minor bruising or hematomas related to needle punctures, especially in vascular peri-orbital and perioral regions
  • Temporary skin irregularities, slight nodules or papules at injection points, usually resolving spontaneously or with gentle massage
  • Rare hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, which may present as prolonged redness, swelling, pruritus or more generalised symptoms and require medical evaluation
  • Risk of local infection if aseptic technique is not strictly followed
  • Very rare risk of more serious complications associated with intradermal injections (e.g. vascular compromise) if product is inadvertently injected intravascularly; proper injection technique and anatomical knowledge are essential
  • As with all injectable aesthetic treatments, post-procedure discomfort, tightness or mild soreness may occur and is usually self-limiting

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a clean, dry place at a controlled room temperature typically between 2°C and 30°C, away from extremes of heat and cold.
  • Do not freeze the product.
  • Keep the syringe in its original blister and carton to protect from light until use.
  • Use the product immediately after opening the sterile blister and do not attempt to re-sterilize.
  • Keep out of the reach of children and dispose of used needles and syringes in appropriate sharps containers according to local regulations.
