Anti-cellulite / lipolytic mesotherapy solution

Description

Dermaqual L-CARNITINE is an anti-cellulite mesotherapy solution containing 20% L-carnitine, an oligopeptide involved in fatty-acid metabolism that is biosynthesised from the essential amino acids L-lysine and L-methionine. L-carnitine plays a key role in lipid oxidation and energy production by transporting long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondrial matrix where they can be oxidised (“burned”) to release energy. Used in mesotherapy protocols, the solution is designed to enhance microcirculation, improve skin tissue function, support breakdown of localised fat deposits and help prevent cellulite reoccurrence. It is indicated for areas with persistent fat and cellulite such as abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, arms and post-liposuction irregularities.

Bnefits

  • Anti-cellulite solution formulated for localised fat deposits and cellulite-prone areas.
  • L-carnitine supports fatty-acid transport into mitochondria, promoting lipid oxidation and energy production.
  • Helps refine uneven skin texture and improve the appearance of “orange peel” skin.
  • Improves local microcirculation and skin tissue function in treated areas.
  • Supports reduction of stubborn fat deposits, including post-liposuction residual fat and contour irregularities.
  • May help prevent future fat accumulation and cellulite reoccurrence when used in a full protocol.
  • Can be used on multiple body areas (abdomen, hips, thighs, buttocks, arms, shoulders, flanks) for contour improvement.
  • Sterile mesotherapy-grade solution suitable for professional body-contouring and anti-cellulite protocols.

Indications

  • Cellulite (“orange peel” skin) on thighs, buttocks, hips and abdomen.
  • Localised adiposity and contour irregularities on the body.
  • Oblique area and leftover fat deposits (post-liposuction correction).
  • Arms and shoulders with localised fat and skin-texture irregularities.
  • Lower and upper abdomen fat pads.
  • Adjunct treatment in body-contouring and slimming mesotherapy protocols to support fat metabolism and skin texture improvement.

  • Cleanse and disinfect the treatment area thoroughly before the procedure.
  • Withdraw required volume from the sterile vial using aseptic technique.
  • Administer according to established mesotherapy protocols (e.g., multiple microinjections, nappage or other suitable technique) avoiding intravascular injection.

Adverse Effects

  • Transient redness, mild swelling or discomfort at injection sites.
  • Possible bruising, tenderness or small hematomas in treated areas.
  • Temporary warmth or sensitivity in the treated region due to increased circulation.
  • Rare risk of local infection if aseptic technique is not strictly observed.
  • Rare hypersensitivity or irritation reactions to the solution components.
  • Potential post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or mild textural changes if aggressive techniques are used or if aftercare is not followed properly.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Keep vials in their original packaging to protect from light and contamination.
  • Do not freeze; avoid extreme temperature fluctuations.
  • Use before the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
  • Once a vial is opened, use immediately for a single session and discard any remaining solution according to clinical waste protocols.

Duration

According to Dermaqual mesotherapy documentation, L-CARNITINE treatment typically requires a minimum of 8 sessions over approximately 2 months, followed by 4 additional maintenance sessions; cycles may be repeated based on clinical assessment.

Onset

Early improvements in skin texture and a lighter feel in treated areas may be noticed after several sessions; visible reduction in cellulite and contour irregularities generally develops progressively over the full course of 8+ treatment sessions and subsequent maintenance.
