Hyaluronic acid skin booster

Description

Hyalace 64mg HA - Profhilo Alternative (1x2ml) is a next-generation injectable skin booster formulated with 64 mg of stabilised hyaluronic acid in a 2 ml pre-filled syringe. Combining 32 mg of high molecular weight (H-HA) and 32 mg of low molecular weight (L-HA), this hybrid HA complex delivers intense, long-lasting hydration and biorevitalisation while supporting tissue remodelling and skin laxity improvement. Marketed as an alternative to Profhilo, Hyalace is designed for injection into the superficial dermis using 5-point or micro-injection techniques to rejuvenate the face, neck and other areas affected by loss of elasticity and firmness.

Bnefits

  • Provides strong, long-lasting hydration of the dermis through a high concentration (64 mg/2 ml) of hyaluronic acid.
  • Combines high- and low-molecular-weight HA (H-HA and L-HA) to support both surface and deeper skin hydration and biorevitalisation.
  • Helps improve skin firmness and elasticity by supporting tissue remodelling and collagen production.
  • Improves skin structure, texture and tone while giving a youthful, radiant complexion.
  • Returns volume and firmness to mildly atrophic or lax skin without traditional volumising filler heaviness.
  • Designed to be smooth and easy to inject, allowing even distribution without lumps or nodules when correctly administered.
  • Results are typically visible from the first treatment and can last around 6–9 months, sometimes up to one year depending on individual factors.
  • Recognised by many clinics and suppliers as a cost-effective Profhilo alternative with similar HA concentration (64 mg/2 ml).

Indications

  • Biorevitalisation and intense hydration of ageing or photo-damaged skin.
  • Treatment of skin laxity and loss of firmness, particularly in the face and neck.
  • Improvement of skin texture, elasticity and radiance in areas such as the face, neck and décolleté.
  • Supportive treatment for fine lines and superficial wrinkles associated with dehydration.
  • General rejuvenation of skin showing early to moderate signs of ageing.
  • Use as an injectable skin booster in protocols similar to Profhilo-style treatments, as per practitioner training and local regulations.

Composition

  • Total hyaluronic acid (HA) content: 64 mg per 2 ml (3.2% HA).
  • High molecular weight hyaluronic acid (H-HA): 32 mg per 2 ml.
  • Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid (L-HA): 32 mg per 2 ml.
  • Hyaluronic acid sodium salt of non-animal origin.
  • Additional excipients (buffer components, water for injection) as stated in the manufacturer’s information.

Formulation

  • Hybrid (dual-weight) hyaluronic acid skin booster containing both high and low molecular weight HA.
  • Stabilised 64 mg/2 ml HA complex designed for biorevitalisation rather than volumetric filling.
  • Non-particulate, smooth, viscoelastic gel formulated for injection into the superficial dermis.
  • Injectable, sterile, pyrogen-free solution supplied in a 2 ml pre-filled syringe.
  • Registered in the EU via CPNP as a mesotherapy product for injection in the superficial dermis (classification varies by jurisdiction).

Packaging

  • Box containing 1 x 2 ml pre-filled sterile syringe of Hyalace (64 mg HA).
  • No needles supplied in the package; appropriate sterile needles or cannulas must be purchased separately.
  • Single-use device; syringe is supplied in a sterile blister within an outer carton.

Usage

  • For professional use only; Hyalace must be purchased and administered exclusively by suitably qualified healthcare professionals in accordance with local regulations.
  • Intended for injection into the superficial dermis; commonly used with 5-point injection techniques on each side of the face (e.g. 0.2 ml per injection point) or via multiple micro-injections for more diffuse coverage.
  • Before treatment, perform a full medical history, skin assessment and patient consultation, and obtain informed consent.
  • Cleanse and disinfect the treatment area using appropriate antiseptic measures and maintain strict aseptic technique throughout the procedure.
  • Attach an appropriate sterile needle (typically 29–30G) or micro-injection device to the syringe, expel air and verify smooth gel flow before injection.
  • Inject slowly, distributing the product evenly in the superficial dermis according to the chosen technique while carefully avoiding intravascular injection.
  • Typical protocols involve two treatment sessions spaced approximately 4 weeks apart, with possible maintenance treatments thereafter based on clinical judgment and patient response.
  • After injection, gently massage the treated area if necessary to ensure even distribution, avoiding excessive pressure.
  • Advise the patient to avoid make-up for several hours, and to avoid saunas, sunbeds, intense heat/cold exposure, alcohol and strenuous exercise for at least 24–48 hours or as per clinic protocol.
  • Dispose of all used materials (syringe, needles, gauze) as clinical sharps and medical waste immediately after use; do not reuse any remaining product in the syringe.

Contraindications

  • Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid or any component of the formulation.
  • History of severe allergic reactions or anaphylaxis.
  • Active skin infection, inflammation or dermatological disease at or near the intended injection site.
  • Autoimmune disease or immune system disorders in which the treating clinician considers injectable HA skin boosters inappropriate.
  • Tendency to form hypertrophic scars or keloids at the proposed treatment sites.
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding (not recommended due to limited safety data).
  • Patients under 18 years of age.
  • Injection into blood vessels, intramuscular injection or administration in anatomical areas not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Use in combination with other procedures or products in a way that conflicts with manufacturer guidance or local clinical protocols.

Adverse Effects

  • Common, usually transient injection-site reactions such as redness, swelling, tenderness, pain, itching and bruising or haematoma.
  • Temporary firmness, lumps or nodules at injection sites, which generally resolve spontaneously or with gentle massage and appropriate clinical management.
  • Transient asymmetry or unevenness if product distribution is not uniform, potentially requiring touch-up treatment.
  • Rare inflammatory or hypersensitivity reactions, including prolonged swelling or induration, which may necessitate medical intervention.
  • Risk of infection at the injection site if aseptic technique is not followed or post-treatment instructions are not observed.
  • Rare but serious complications associated with inadvertent intravascular injection (e.g. vascular occlusion, tissue ischaemia or necrosis), requiring urgent specialist management.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, typically in a cool, dry place between 1 °C and 25 °C.
  • Keep in the original blister and outer carton to maintain sterility and protect from light.
  • Do not freeze.
  • Protect from excessive heat or direct sunlight.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
  • Do not use if the packaging, blister or syringe is damaged or if sterility is in doubt.

Duration

Clinical experience and supplier information indicate that results typically last around 6\u20139 months, and in some patients up to approximately 12 months, depending on factors such as age, skin condition, lifestyle, treatment area and injection technique.

Onset

Hydration and skin quality improvements are usually visible shortly after the first treatment, with a noticeable glow and increased elasticity; optimal results typically develop over several weeks as the HA complex integrates into the dermis and stimulates tissue remodelling.
