Injectable skin booster / dermal biorevitaliser

Description

Jalupro Amino Acid, also known as Jalupro Classic, is a sterile, resorbable injectable skin booster and dermal biorevitaliser combining non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid with a specific amino acid complex (glycine, L-proline, L-leucine and L-lysine). It is designed to improve skin texture and quality, minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and restore radiance and firmness in photo-aged or dull skin. By supplying fibroblasts with essential amino acids and hyaluronic acid, Jalupro increases fibroblast activity and collagen production, helping to keep skin hydrated, firm and more elastic. It can be used on multiple areas of the face and body and as a complementary treatment alongside procedures such as chemical peels, laser therapy, dermabrasion, radiofrequency, dermal fillers and botulinum toxin. Results typically develop progressively and can last up to about 6 months, after which maintenance sessions are recommended.

Bnefits

  • Improves overall skin texture and quality, giving a smoother and more refined appearance.
  • Stimulates fibroblast activity and collagen synthesis, helping keep skin hydrated, firm and elastic.
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and superficial wrinkles associated with ageing and photo-damage.
  • Restores radiance and firmness to dull, tired-looking skin.
  • Improves the appearance of acne scars, red stretch marks and keloid scars by supporting dermal remodelling.
  • Helps prevent and reduce mild facial and body skin laxity.
  • Prolongs and enhances results of other aesthetic procedures such as peels, laser, dermabrasion, radiofrequency, dermal fillers and botulinum toxin.
  • Suitable for multiple treatment areas: face, neck, décolleté, underarms, hands, inner thighs, abdomen and knees.
  • Provides effective biorevitalisation with results that can last up to approximately 6 months, subject to lifestyle, age and skin type.

Indications

  • Photo-ageing and chrono-ageing of the face and body (light to moderate degree).
  • Fine lines and superficial wrinkles of the face, neck and décolleté.
  • Dull, devitalised skin lacking radiance and firmness.
  • Early skin laxity and loss of tone on face and selected body areas.
  • Atrophic and acne scars, red stretch marks and keloid scars (as part of a broader treatment plan).
  • Preparation, improvement and prolongation of results for various aesthetic procedures (peels, laser, dermabrasion, radiofrequency, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin, plastic surgery).
  • Skin quality improvement on hands, underarms, inner thighs, abdomen, knees and other indicated areas.

Composition

  • 2 sterile bottles containing amino acids (each 100 mg) with:
  • – Glycine
  • – L-Proline
  • – L-Leucine
  • – L-Lysine
  • 2 sterile vials containing sodium hyaluronate solution (each 30 mg in 3 ml)
  • Water for injection (in hyaluronic acid vials)
  • Buffering and stabilising excipients as listed in the official product information

Formulation

  • Sterile, reabsorbable injectable solution for intradermal use.
  • Two-component system: lyophilised amino acid bottles and sodium hyaluronate vials to be mixed immediately before use.
  • Non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate 30 mg/3 ml per vial) combined with an amino acid cluster (glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine) designed to enhance fibroblast activity and collagen synthesis.
  • Once reconstituted, forms a clear injectable solution acting as a dermal biorevitaliser.

Packaging

  • Pack contains:
  • – 2 x 100 mg sterile bottles of lyophilised amino acids (glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine).
  • – 2 x 30 mg, 3 ml sterile vials containing sodium hyaluronate solution.
  • Supplied in a branded outer carton with integrated tray and package insert.
  • Each primary container is individually labelled with batch number and expiry date.

Usage

  • For professional use only; must be administered by suitably trained and qualified healthcare professionals within an appropriate clinical setting.
  • Aseptically transfer the contents of one sodium hyaluronate vial (30 mg/3 ml) into one amino acid bottle (100 mg).
  • Gently swirl or roll the bottle until the lyophilised amino acids are completely dissolved and a clear, homogeneous solution is obtained; avoid vigorous shaking.
  • Withdraw the solution into a sterile syringe and attach an appropriate needle (e.g. 30G) according to the area and technique.
  • Inject intradermally or into the superficial dermis using micro-depot, nappage, linear threading or grid techniques, following the manufacturer’s and local clinical protocols.
  • Typical treatment protocol involves several sessions (commonly 3–4) spaced about 10–20 days apart, tailored to the patient’s skin condition and treatment goals.
  • Use Jalupro Amino Acid as a stand-alone biorevitalisation treatment or as a complementary procedure before or after other aesthetic treatments (peels, laser, dermabrasion, radiofrequency, fillers, botulinum toxin) according to clinical judgement.
  • After treatment, advise patients to avoid makeup, vigorous exercise, saunas/steam rooms, alcohol excess and intense heat or sun exposure for at least 24 hours or as per clinic policy.
  • Any unused reconstituted solution must be discarded; do not store or reuse.
  • Dispose of used vials, syringes and needles in approved sharps containers according to local regulations.

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid, any of the amino acids (glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine) or any excipients in the formulation.
  • Presence of active skin infection, inflammation or disease (e.g. herpes simplex, bacterial or fungal infection, dermatitis) at or near the intended injection sites.
  • History of severe anaphylactic reactions or serious allergy to injectable aesthetic products, unless thoroughly evaluated and deemed appropriate by a specialist.
  • Known bleeding disorders or use of significant anticoagulant/antiplatelet treatment without appropriate risk assessment.
  • Autoimmune diseases or immunosuppression where intradermal biorevitalisation is considered inappropriate by the treating physician.
  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding, due to limited safety data (use is generally not recommended).
  • Recent aggressive procedures at the planned injection area (deep peels, ablative lasers, etc.) that have not fully healed or fall within a contraindicated interval.

Adverse Effects

  • Common, transient injection-site reactions such as redness (erythema), swelling, tenderness, itching and mild pain.
  • Small papules or lumps at injection points, usually resolving spontaneously as the product disperses over hours to days.
  • Bruising or ecchymosis, especially in vascular areas or when anticoagulant drugs are used.
  • Rare local infections or abscess formation if aseptic technique is not adequately followed.
  • Rare hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, which may involve more extensive swelling, pruritus or systemic symptoms.
  • As with all injectable treatments, rare but serious complications such as vascular compromise or necrosis are theoretically possible and require prompt recognition and management in line with aesthetic medicine guidelines.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place at controlled room temperature, within the range specified in the official product information (commonly 2°C–25°C).
  • Keep ampoules and vials in their original outer carton to protect from light and contamination until use.
  • Do not freeze the product.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
  • Reconstituted solution is intended for immediate use only and must not be stored or reused.
  • Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Duration

Initial protocols typically involve a course of 3\u20134 sessions performed at intervals of approximately 10\u201320 days, depending on skin condition and practitioner preference. The biorevitalising effects and visible improvements generally last up to around 6 months, after which maintenance treatments (for example once or twice yearly or as clinically indicated) are recommended.

Onset

Early improvements in hydration, radiance and skin softness may be noticeable within days to a few weeks after the first session, with progressive enhancement of texture, firmness and fine lines over the full course of treatments. Results tend to become more evident over time, with maximum visible benefit typically seen several weeks after completing the protocol and persisting for up to around 6 months.
