Injectable skin booster / dermal biorevitaliser
Description
JALUPRO CLASSIC PROFESSIONAL DERMA is a sterile, reabsorbable injectable dermal biorevitaliser based on low molecular weight sodium hyaluronate and a specific amino-acid complex (glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine). Supplied as a two-component system that is mixed immediately before use, it is designed to improve skin texture, minimise the appearance of wrinkles and scars, and restore hydration and elasticity in photo-aged or chrono-aged skin. JALUPRO CLASSIC can be used on the face and body for light to moderate photo-ageing, stretch marks and scar-related depressions, and it is also indicated as an adjuvant to physical or chemical aesthetic procedures such as peels, laser therapy, dermabrasion, radiofrequency, dermal fillers and botulinum toxin. Clinical protocols typically involve several treatment sessions spaced 1–2 weeks apart, with results that build over time and can last around 6 months.
Bnefits
- Acts as a dermal biorevitaliser by supplying fibroblasts with hyaluronic acid and key amino acids, supporting new collagen production.
- Improves overall skin texture and quality, helping to smooth fine lines and superficial wrinkles.
- Reduces the appearance of skin defects and depressions caused by wrinkles and scars, including some acne and post-traumatic scars.
- Helps correct light to moderate photo-ageing and chrono-ageing of the face and body.
- Provides deep hydration and nourishment, leaving skin more supple, toned and elastic.
- Improves the appearance of stretch marks and red striae as part of biorevitalisation protocols.
- Enhances and prolongs the results of other aesthetic procedures (chemical peels, laser therapy, dermabrasion, radiofrequency, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin).
- Suitable for multiple treatment areas, including face, neck, décolleté, underarms, hands, inner thighs, abdomen and knee region.
- Demonstrates very good tolerance in clinical use, with rapid and safe recovery of wrinkles reported in marketing and clinical materials.
Indications
- Photo-ageing and chrono-ageing of the face and body (light and medium degree).
- Skin defects and depressions caused by wrinkles and certain types of scars.
- Loss of tone, elasticity and radiance in facial and body skin.
- Stretch marks (striae), including red stretch marks, as part of combined treatment plans.
- Adjuvant treatment to prepare the skin, improve and prolong outcomes of procedures such as peeling, laser therapy, dermabrasion, radiofrequency, dermal fillers and botulinum toxin.
- Pre- and post-surgery support to improve skin quality around the surgical area, as deemed appropriate by the treating physician.
- Biorevitalisation of specific regions: face, neck, décolleté, underarms, hands, inner thighs, abdomen and knee region.
Composition
- 2 small vials containing lyophilised amino acids (100 mg each total):
- – Glycine
- – L-Proline
- – L-Leucine
- – L-Lysine
- 2 sterile vials containing sodium hyaluronate solution (each 30 mg in 3 ml).
- Water for injection (in hyaluronic acid vials).
- Buffering and stabilising excipients as listed in the official instructions for use.
Formulation
- Sterile, reabsorbable injectable solution for intradermal implantation.
- Two-component system (A + B):
- – Component A: lyophilised amino-acid vials (glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine).
- – Component B: sodium hyaluronate vials (30 mg/3 ml) to be mixed with amino acids immediately before injection.
- Low molecular weight, non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid combined with an amino-acid cluster designed to stimulate fibroblasts and collagen synthesis.
- Once reconstituted, forms a clear, particle-free solution for uniform dermal diffusion.
Packaging
- Box containing 2 small vials (bottles) of lyophilised amino acids (100 mg each).
- 2 sterile vials containing 30 mg/3 ml sodium hyaluronate solution (to be mixed with the amino acids).
- Package insert with full instructions for use, indications and precautions.
- The package does not contain needles.
- Branded outer carton labelled JALUPRO CLASSIC PROFESSIONAL DERMA, with manufacturer details and device classification.
Usage
- For medical use only; JALUPRO CLASSIC must be prepared and administered by a suitably qualified healthcare professional in an appropriate clinical setting.
- Immediately before injection, dissolve one vial of sodium hyaluronate (30 mg/3 ml) in one vial of lyophilised amino acids (100 mg) using aseptic technique.
- Gently swirl or rotate the vial until the powder is completely dissolved and the solution is clear and particle-free; avoid vigorous shaking to minimise bubble formation.
- Withdraw the reconstituted solution into a sterile syringe and attach an appropriate fine needle (commonly 30G) as recommended in the instructions for use.
- Inject intradermally into the papillary or reticular dermis using linear, grid, fan or mixed techniques along wrinkles or in the areas of skin depression, following the manufacturer’s guidance.
- Treat indicated areas such as face, neck, décolleté, underarms, hands, inner thighs, abdomen and knee region according to the clinical protocol and patient needs.
- After injection, if necessary, perform a light massage of the treated area to promote even distribution and smoothing of the product.
- Recommended treatment frequency from manufacturer and distributors: a course of 3–4 sessions spaced 1–2 weeks apart, repeated roughly twice a year (or 2–3 times a year in some protocols), adjusted to skin condition and practitioner judgement.
- JALUPRO CLASSIC may be used alone or as an adjuvant before or after aesthetic procedures such as chemical peels, lasers, dermabrasion, radiofrequency, dermal fillers and botulinum toxin, respecting appropriate intervals and healing times.
- Dispose of any unused reconstituted solution; do not store or reuse. Discard all used vials, syringes and needles in approved sharps containers according to local regulations.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid, any of the amino acids (glycine, L-proline, L-leucine, L-lysine) or any excipients in the formulation.
- Presence of active skin infections, inflammatory dermatoses or open wounds at or near the intended injection sites.
- History of severe anaphylactic reactions to injectable aesthetic products unless carefully evaluated and deemed safe by a specialist.
- Uncontrolled autoimmune disease or significant immunosuppression where intradermal biorevitalisation is considered inappropriate by the treating physician.
- Known bleeding disorders or concurrent use of significant anticoagulant/antiplatelet therapy without appropriate risk assessment.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding, due to insufficient safety data (use is generally not recommended).
- Recent aggressive procedures (deep chemical peels, ablative laser resurfacing, etc.) in the planned treatment area that have not fully healed or fall within a contraindicated interval specified by the practitioner.
Adverse Effects
- Common, usually transient injection-site reactions: redness (erythema), swelling (oedema), tenderness, itching and mild pain.
- Bruising or ecchymosis, especially in more vascular areas or in patients on anticoagulant or antiplatelet medications.
- Small papules or nodules at injection points, typically resolving spontaneously as the product diffuses over hours to days.
- Temporary irregularities or mild asymmetry in treated areas, which usually resolve as swelling subsides.
- Infrequent local infections or abscess formation if aseptic technique is not rigorously followed.
- Rare hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, which may present with more pronounced swelling, redness or pruritus and require prompt medical evaluation.
- As with all injectable aesthetic procedures, rare but serious complications such as vascular compromise or tissue necrosis are theoretically possible and must be recognised and managed immediately according to established aesthetic medicine guidelines.
Storage Conditions
- Store at controlled room temperature within the range specified in the product leaflet (commonly around 2–25 °C).
- Do not freeze the product.
- Keep vials in their original outer carton to protect from light and contamination until use.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
- Reconstituted solution is intended for immediate use only and must not be stored or reused.
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children and unauthorised persons.
Duration
The usual protocol consists of 3\u20134 treatment sessions spaced approximately 1\u20132 weeks apart, typically repeated around twice per year depending on the degree of ageing and clinical goals. The biorevitalising effect increases over time and generally lasts up to about 6 months, after which maintenance treatment is recommended.
Onset
Initial improvements in hydration and skin smoothness may be observed within days to a few weeks after treatment onset, with progressive reduction in wrinkle visibility and better skin tone over the full course. Maximum visible benefit is generally reached several weeks after completing the protocol, with results maintained for roughly 6 months before gradually diminishing.
