Cross-linked hyaluronic acid dermal filler for medium-to-deep wrinkles, contouring and volumisation
Description
Revofil Plus 2×1ml is a next-generation, soft-touch dermal filler from Caregen that combines cross-linked hyaluronic acid (23 mg/ml) with an advanced dual biomimetic peptide complex. It is indicated for mid-to-deep dermal implantation to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, restore facial volume and harmonise contours, and perform lip volumisation and contouring. The peptides (Oligopeptide-72 and Oligopeptide-50) enhance filler longevity by inhibiting hyaluronidase and stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis for biostimulatory skin rejuvenation. The 2×1 ml pack offers a versatile 2-in-1 solution for volumising and contouring areas such as cheeks, chin and jawline, delivering natural, sculpted and long-lasting results.

- Physiological buffer solution and standard injectable excipients
- Biodegradable, highly stable, peptide-stabilised HA gel
Formulation
- Soft-touch, cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel with biomimetic peptide complex
- Designed as a combined biphasic/monophasic-like cohesive gel for optimal viscosity and elasticity

Usage
- For professional use only; administration must be performed by suitably trained and qualified medical or aesthetic practitioners.
- Indicated injection depth: mid-to-deep dermis for correction of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, and soft-tissue augmentation.
- Common treatment areas: nasolabial folds, marionette lines, forehead wrinkles, lines around eyes and mouth, tear troughs (as per protocol), cheeks, jawline, chin and lips.
- Use strict aseptic technique: disinfect the treatment area and maintain sterility of syringe, needle and field at all times.
- Attach the supplied 27G needle (or appropriate needle/cannula) and expel air before injection.
- Inject slowly with minimal pressure using techniques such as linear threading, serial puncture, fanning or depot/bolus injections, tailored to the region and indication.
- Avoid intravascular injection; aspirate according to clinic protocol and continuously monitor the patient for any signs of vascular compromise.
- After injection, gently mould the filler with fingers if required to optimise shape, contour and surface smoothness.
- Advise patients to avoid applying makeup to treated areas for several hours, and to avoid intense exercise, alcohol and exposure to extreme heat, cold or direct sunlight for at least 24 hours or as per clinic protocol.
- Refer to the official Instructions for Use (IFU) included in the pack for full, manufacturer-approved guidance on indications, injection planes, techniques, contraindications and precautions.
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity or allergy to hyaluronic acid, Oligopeptide-72, Oligopeptide-50 or any excipient in the formulation
- History of severe or multiple allergies or anaphylactic reactions unless carefully assessed and cleared by a physician
- Active skin infection, inflammation or dermatologic condition at or near the intended injection sites (e.g. herpes simplex, active acne, dermatitis)
- Systemic infection or uncontrolled systemic disease where dermal filler treatment is inappropriate
- Autoimmune disease or immunocompromised state, unless risk–benefit has been individually evaluated by the treating clinician
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (use is generally not recommended in the absence of robust safety data)
- Known tendency to hypertrophic or keloid scarring or significantly impaired wound healing
- Use in patients under 18 years of age
- Planned injection into blood vessels or in high-risk vascular areas without appropriate expertise and safety measures
Adverse Effects
- Common, usually transient injection-site reactions such as redness, swelling, tenderness, pain, bruising, itching or slight bleeding
- Temporary nodules, papules, irregularities or asymmetry at or near the injection area, which may resolve spontaneously or require massage or minor corrective treatment
- Localised infection or abscess formation if strict aseptic technique is not maintained
- Immediate or delayed hypersensitivity or inflammatory reactions, including swelling, erythema and induration
- Very rare but serious complications typical of hyaluronic acid fillers, such as vascular occlusion, tissue ischemia or necrosis, and visual disturbances or blindness if filler is inadvertently injected into a vessel, requiring prompt emergency management
- Any persistent, unusual or severe adverse reaction should be rapidly evaluated and treated by a qualified medical professional
Storage Conditions
- Store according to the temperature range indicated on the outer carton (commonly 2–25 °C).
- Do not freeze.
- Protect from direct sunlight and excessive heat or cold.
- Keep syringes in their original sterile blister and carton until use to maintain sterility and traceability.
- Do not use after the expiry date or if the packaging, blister or syringe appears damaged, previously opened or compromised.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
Duration
Typical clinical duration is reported around 10\u201312 months, varying with treatment area, injection technique, patient metabolism, lifestyle and skin condition.
Onset
Visible improvement in volume and wrinkle filling is immediate after injection; optimal aesthetic results become apparent once initial post-treatment redness or swelling subsides over the following days.
