Description

Aurelia Absolute 100 Black Nitrile Powder Free Gloves are premium black nitrile examination gloves designed for versatile use across medical, dental, veterinary, beauty, tattoo and industrial environments. Manufactured from soft, high-quality nitrile with a satin black finish, they provide a balance of barrier protection, comfort, and tactile sensitivity. These non-sterile, ambidextrous, latex-free gloves feature finger-textured tips to enhance grip and precision, are powder free to reduce the risk of irritation and contamination, and are tested as both a medical device and Category III PPE for chemical and microbiological protection. The Small size variant weighs approximately 3.6 g ± 0.2 g and is supplied in boxes of 100 gloves.

  • Ensure hands are clean and dry; remove jewellery that may tear the glove.
  • Select the appropriate size (Small) for a snug but comfortable fit.

  • Repeat for the other hand using aseptic technique where required for clinical procedures.
  • Avoid contact with strong solvents or chemicals beyond the tested EN 374 range unless confirmed suitable by the safety data.
  • After use, grasp the outside of the glove near the cuff, peel it off turning it inside out, and hold it in the gloved hand; slide an ungloved finger under the cuff of the remaining glove and peel it off over the first glove.
  • Dispose of used gloves according to local clinical or hazardous waste protocols; do not reuse single-use gloves.
  • Wash or sanitise hands after glove removal in line with infection prevention and control procedures.

Contraindications

  • Known or suspected hypersensitivity or allergy to nitrile or any component of the glove formulation.
  • Use in situations requiring sterile surgical gloves; these are non-sterile examination gloves.
  • Use with chemicals or cytotoxic agents not covered by the glove’s EN 374 chemical resistance testing or manufacturer’s compatibility data.
  • Use where heat, open flame or molten metal exposure is expected; nitrile examination gloves are not heat-resistant PPE.
  • Do not use if the gloves are brittle, discoloured, cut, torn or otherwise damaged, or if the packaging is compromised.

Adverse Effects

  • Potential for skin irritation, contact dermatitis or allergic reactions in individuals sensitive to nitrile compounds, dyes, or processing chemicals.
  • Excessive sweating and maceration of the skin if gloves are worn for prolonged periods without breaks.
  • Reduced tactile sensitivity and dexterity if an incorrect size is chosen or if multiple glove layers are worn.
  • Risk of barrier failure and exposure to contaminants if gloves are reused or worn beyond their intended duration or in contact with incompatible chemicals.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and fluorescent light sources.
  • Recommended storage temperature typically between 5°C and 25°C; avoid extremes of heat and cold as indicated on the packaging.
  • Keep away from ozone sources, oils, solvents and other chemicals that may degrade nitrile.
  • Store in the original box or protective packaging until use to protect from dust and contamination.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging, in accordance with EN 455-4 shelf-life requirements.

Duration

Single-use disposable examination gloves intended for one clinical or task episode only; they should be changed between patients or when contaminated, torn or compromised.
