Pink nitrile powder-free medical examination gloves

Description

Aurelia Blush Powder Free Pink Nitrile Gloves are premium thin pink nitrile examination gloves designed to provide excellent strength, comfort and tactile sensitivity. With advanced anti-ageing and moisturising properties built into the glove formulation, they help leave hands feeling smooth even with prolonged wear. These non-sterile, ambidextrous, latex-free gloves feature a beaded cuff, finger-textured tips and an approximate palm thickness of 2.5 mil (finger thickness around 3.9 mil). They are supplied as a box of 200 Small-size gloves and are tested as both a medical device and Category III PPE for chemical and microbiological protection.

Bnefits

  • Thin nitrile construction (approx. 2.5 mil palm) delivers outstanding tactile sensitivity and dexterity, ideal for intricate procedures.
  • In-built anti-ageing and moisturising properties help condition the skin and leave hands feeling smooth after use.
  • Quality pink nitrile provides higher tensile strength and puncture resistance compared with equivalent latex or vinyl examination gloves.
  • Powder-free and latex-free design minimises the risk of powder-related contamination and latex allergy reactions.
  • Finger-textured finish enhances grip, control and precision in wet or dry conditions.
  • Beaded cuff improves donning, reduces roll-down and adds strength at the cuff edge.
  • AQL 1.5 medical grade quality with tested compliance to EN 455 for single-use medical gloves.
  • Tested to EN ISO 374 for protection against selected chemicals and microorganisms, providing an additional safety margin in clinical and laboratory settings.
  • Bright blush-pink colour brings high visibility and a more welcoming, less clinical look to treatment rooms.

Indications

  • General medical and dental examinations requiring non-sterile, single-use gloves.
  • Aesthetic medicine, dermatology, cosmetic and beauty procedures where a visually appealing glove with high tactile sensitivity is preferred.
  • Tattooing, piercing and salon treatments where barrier protection and contrast with inks or dyes are beneficial.
  • Laboratory, pharmaceutical and diagnostic work involving biological materials and certain chemicals, within the limits of EN ISO 374 test data.
  • Veterinary, animal care and grooming tasks needing strong, comfortable examination gloves.
  • Food handling and food preparation tasks where gloves compliant with EN 1186 for food contact are required.
  • Situations where users need a latex-free glove due to latex sensitivity or allergy.

Composition

  • Material: Nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), blush pink, 100% latex free.
  • Thickness (approximate): Palm 2.5 mil; Finger 3.9 mil; minimum 0.05 mm at palm and wrist, 0.10 mm at fingers.
  • Surface: Finger-textured finish for improved grip; smoother palm.
  • Cuff: Beaded cuff to enhance strength and aid donning.
  • Powder content: Powder free (no donning powder added).
  • Protein content: Not made with natural rubber latex; no latex proteins.

Formulation

  • Non-sterile, single-use nitrile examination glove.
  • Pink colour (blush) with satin-like finish.
  • Ambidextrous design to fit either hand.
  • Thin, soft nitrile formulation for increased comfort, flexibility and sensitivity.
  • Beaded cuff to reduce tearing on donning and to minimise cuff roll-down.
  • AQL 1.5 for pinhole defects, medical grade.
  • Available in sizes XS–XL; this SKU refers specifically to Small.

Packaging

  • Box of 200 pink nitrile powder-free examination gloves (by weight).
  • Dispensing box with perforated opening for easy single-glove withdrawal.
  • Typically 10 boxes per outer shipping case (2,000 gloves) for bulk supply.
  • Packaging clearly marked with size (Small), lot number, manufacture and expiry dates, EN standards, and CE/UKCA markings.
  • Outer case labelled with product name, size range, quantity and regulatory information for logistics and storage.

Usage

  • Inspect the box and inner packaging before use; do not use if the packaging is damaged or if the gloves are past their expiry date.
  • Ensure hands are clean and dry before donning; remove rings or sharp jewellery that could tear the glove.
  • Select the correct size (Small) for a snug but comfortable fit to maintain dexterity and minimise hand fatigue.
  • Remove a glove from the dispenser by the cuff, avoiding contact with the outer surface as far as practical.
  • Insert the hand into the glove and pull the cuff over the wrist, adjusting the fingers and palm to remove folds without overstretching.
  • Repeat on the other hand, maintaining aseptic technique where required for clinical procedures.
  • During use, change gloves between patients, between different tasks on the same patient, or whenever the glove becomes torn, punctured, heavily soiled or after contact with aggressive chemicals.
  • To remove, grasp the outside of one glove near the cuff and peel it off inside out; hold it in the gloved hand, then slide an ungloved finger under the cuff of the remaining glove and peel it off over the first glove.
  • Dispose of used gloves in accordance with local clinical, infectious or chemical waste protocols; do not reuse single-use gloves.
  • Wash or sanitise hands after glove removal in line with hand hygiene guidelines.

Contraindications

  • Known or suspected allergy or hypersensitivity to nitrile or any other components used in the glove formulation.
  • Use in procedures that require sterile surgical gloves, as these are non-sterile examination gloves.
  • Use with chemicals, cytotoxic drugs or solvents not covered by the glove’s EN ISO 374 chemical resistance data or manufacturer’s compatibility information.
  • Use in environments where high heat, open flames or molten materials are present; nitrile examination gloves are not heat- or flame-resistant PPE.
  • Do not use if gloves show signs of deterioration such as brittleness, stickiness, tears, holes, discolouration or if packaging integrity is compromised.

Adverse Effects

  • Possible skin irritation, dryness, contact dermatitis or allergic reactions in sensitive individuals exposed to nitrile compounds, dyes or residual processing chemicals.
  • Excessive sweating and skin maceration when gloves are worn continuously for extended periods without breaks.
  • Reduced tactile sensitivity and manual dexterity if the wrong size is selected or if multiple gloves are worn on the same hand.
  • Risk of barrier failure and exposure to contaminants if gloves are reused, worn for longer than recommended, or used with chemicals beyond their tested resistance.
  • If worn with sharp jewellery or long nails, there is increased risk of tearing, compromising protection.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, UV light and fluorescent lighting where possible.
  • Maintain storage temperature typically between 5°C and 25°C, avoiding extremes of heat or cold as indicated on the packaging.
  • Keep away from ozone-generating equipment and sources of oxidising agents, oils, solvents and other chemicals that may degrade nitrile.
  • Store in the original packaging until use to protect from dust, moisture and contamination.
  • Do not use after the expiry date printed on the box, in accordance with EN 455-4 shelf-life requirements.

Duration

Single-use disposable examination glove intended for one task or patient contact episode only; must be changed between patients or when contaminated, damaged or after prolonged use.

Onset

Provides immediate barrier protection and improved grip as soon as the glove is correctly donned.
