White powder-free nitrile examination gloves

Description

Aurelia Finger-Textured WHITE Powder-Free Nitrile gloves (Quest White Nitrile Examination Gloves) are premium white, powder-free nitrile examination gloves designed to look, fit and feel like latex while offering all the benefits of nitrile. Manufactured from 100% nitrile with a 3.5 mil nominal thickness, these ambidextrous, finger-textured gloves provide excellent tactile sensitivity, comfort and fit with improved chemical and puncture resistance compared with latex and vinyl. The finger-textured finish ensures reliable grip and control for instrument handling, while the latex-free formulation makes them suitable for users with latex allergy. Supplied as a box of 100 non-sterile, single-use gloves in automated packing for easy single-glove dispensing.

Bnefits

  • Premium white nitrile examination glove that looks, fits and feels like latex while remaining latex free.
  • 3.5 mil thickness provides a strong balance between protection, durability and tactile sensitivity.
  • Finger-textured fingertips enhance grip and control, especially for instrument handling and fine procedures.
  • Nitrile formulation offers superior puncture and chemical resistance compared with equivalent latex or vinyl gloves within tested ranges.
  • Soft, stretchy nitrile compound improves comfort and ergonomics for extended wear and reduces hand fatigue.
  • Powder-free design eliminates the risk of powder-related contamination and reduces the potential for skin irritation.
  • Latex-free and protein-free construction suitable for users with latex allergy or sensitivity.
  • Automated packing helps enhance single-glove dispensing and reduces the risk of multiple gloves being dispensed at once.
  • Versatile, all-round glove suitable for a wide range of clinical, laboratory, industrial and hygiene applications.

Indications

  • Non-sterile medical and dental examination procedures requiring reliable, single-use gloves.
  • Aesthetic medicine, dermatology and cosmetic procedures where high tactile sensitivity and clean white appearance are preferred.
  • Instrument handling in clinics, surgeries, laboratories and cleanrooms where precise grip and control are important.
  • Veterinary, animal care and grooming tasks requiring durable, latex-free examination gloves.
  • Laboratory and pharmaceutical environments involving biological materials and certain chemicals, within the scope of EN ISO 374 resistance data.
  • Food handling and preparation where food-contact-compliant gloves are required.
  • General hygiene, cleaning and infection-control tasks in healthcare, community care and social care settings.

Usage

  • Check the packaging is intact and verify that the gloves are within the stated expiry date before use.
  • Ensure hands are clean and dry; remove jewellery or trim nails that may puncture the gloves.
  • Select the appropriate size to ensure a snug yet comfortable fit, maintaining dexterity and reducing hand fatigue.
  • Withdraw a glove from the dispensing box by the cuff, taking care not to touch more of the glove than necessary.
  • Insert fingers and thumb into the glove and gently pull the beaded cuff over the wrist, smoothing out any folds.
  • Repeat for the other hand using aseptic technique where required for clinical or laboratory procedures.
  • Change gloves between patients, between different tasks on the same patient, and immediately if the glove becomes torn, punctured, heavily soiled or after contact with aggressive chemicals.
  • Avoid using the gloves with chemicals or cytotoxic agents beyond those for which the glove has been validated under EN ISO 374.
  • To remove, grasp the outside of one glove near the wrist and peel it off inside out, holding it in the gloved hand; slide an ungloved finger under the cuff of the remaining glove and peel off over the first glove without touching the exterior surface.
  • Dispose of used gloves in accordance with local infection-control and waste-management protocols; do not wash or reuse single-use gloves.
  • Wash or sanitise hands after glove removal as per current hand-hygiene guidelines.

Contraindications

  • Known or suspected allergy or hypersensitivity to nitrile or any of the chemicals used in the glove formulation (e.g. accelerators, pigments).
  • Use as a substitute for sterile surgical gloves where sterility is required; these gloves are non-sterile examination gloves.
  • Use with strong chemicals, solvents or cytotoxic drugs outside the glove’s validated EN ISO 374 chemical-resistance range.
  • Use in environments involving open flames, high heat or molten materials; nitrile examination gloves are not heat- or flame-resistant PPE.
  • Do not use if gloves are brittle, sticky, torn, punctured, discoloured or show any other signs of deterioration, or if the packaging has been compromised.

Adverse Effects

  • Possible skin irritation, contact dermatitis or allergic reactions in sensitised individuals due to nitrile components or residual processing chemicals.
  • Excessive sweating and maceration of the skin when gloves are worn for prolonged periods without breaks.
  • Reduced fine tactile sensitivity if the wrong glove size is selected or if multiple glove layers are worn.
  • Increased risk of contamination or exposure if gloves are reused, worn too long, or used with sharp instruments that may puncture the glove.
  • If used beyond their intended chemical-resistance profile, there is a risk of permeation leading to chemical exposure.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of ultraviolet light.
  • Maintain storage temperature within the range recommended on the packaging, typically between 5°C and 25°C, avoiding extremes of heat and cold.
  • Keep away from ozone sources and chemicals, oils, solvents or fumes that may degrade nitrile.
  • Store in the original unopened box until required to protect from dust, moisture and environmental contamination.
  • Rotate stock using a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system and do not use gloves after the expiry date printed on the packaging.

Duration

Single-use disposable examination gloves intended for one patient contact or task; they must be replaced between patients or tasks, or sooner if damaged or visibly contaminated.

Onset

Provides immediate barrier protection and improved grip as soon as the glove is correctly donned and remains intact.
