The Birkenstock Linz Super Grip Slipper - Natural Leather is a closed, professional work shoe designed for demanding environments such as medical practices, hospitals, clinics, kitchens and the food industry. Its fully enclosed upper made from comfortable, smooth natural leather (unsplit leather) provides reliable protection from impact injuries and is easy to clean. A freely adjustable backstrap with a hook-and-loop (Velcro) fastener ensures a snug, secure fit around the heel. The anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed, lined with soft suede, supports the natural contours of the foot, helping promote proper posture and protect joints and tendons during long periods of standing and walking. The Super Grip sole unit combines a cushioning EVA midsole with a nonslip, oil- and grease-resistant rubber outsole. Usage
- Select the appropriate size and width using Birkenstock’s sizing guide to ensure that the foot sits comfortably within the footbed without pressing against the raised edges.
- Place the foot in the shoe and adjust the backstrap using the hook-and-loop fastener so that the heel is securely but comfortably held in place.
- Wear with suitable work socks as required by workplace hygiene and comfort standards.
- Use as everyday occupational footwear during work shifts in relevant environments (medical, care, kitchen, food industry), following workplace PPE and footwear policies.
- Clean the smooth leather upper regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary; avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaners.

- Brush the suede footbed gently with a soft brush to remove surface dirt and maintain the nap; avoid soaking the footbed to protect the cork and adhesive.
- Inspect the tread pattern on the rubber outsole regularly; replace the shoes when slip resistance appears significantly reduced or the tread is heavily worn.
- If the exposed cork edges appear dry, apply a suitable cork sealant following Birkenstock care recommendations to help prolong the life of the footbed.
- Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place when not in use to preserve the materials and maintain the shape of the footbed.
Contraindications
- Not suitable as safety footwear in workplaces where EN ISO 20345-certified protective-toe or additional protective features (such as puncture-resistant midsoles) are explicitly required.
