Description

The Alexandra Dental Tunic is a unisex healthcare uniform designed specifically for dental professionals. Featuring a concealed stud asymmetrical fastening, chest and hip pockets, and a half-belt back for an adjustable fit, it offers a clean, professional appearance with everyday practicality. Made from a durable 65% polyester / 35% cotton fabric at 195gsm, it is suitable for industrial laundry and can be washed at 60°C to comply with infection control regulations.

Usage

  • Wear as an outer clinical tunic over appropriate undergarments or scrubs.
  • Fasten fully using the concealed stud asymmetrical fastening for correct fit and appearance.
  • Use chest and hip pockets for light items such as pens, small instruments or notepads only.
  • Launder before first use and regularly thereafter, following workplace infection control policies.
  • Wash at up to 60°C in accordance with infection control regulations and the care label.
  • Suitable for industrial laundry; avoid bleach or harsh chemicals unless permitted on the care label.
  • Line dry or tumble dry on a suitable setting as indicated on the garment care label.
  • Cool to medium iron if required, avoiding direct contact with any branding or labels.

Contraindications

  • Not suitable for individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to polyester or cotton fabrics.
  • Not designed to provide barrier protection against hazardous chemicals, high-risk biological agents, or sharps injuries.
  • Should not be used as a substitute for appropriate PPE where higher protection classifications are required.
