Unisex low-cut S3 ESD SRC safety shoes
Description
Flow Low Unisex Safety Shoes with Twist Lock - Black are low-cut, metal-free S3 safety shoes from Safety Jogger featuring the innovative TLS (Twist Lock System) closure. Designed for professional use in logistics, electronics, manufacturing and other industrial environments, these shoes provide S3 ESD SRC protection, including a composite safety toecap, puncture-resistant textile midsole and a slip-resistant PU/PU outsole. The synthetic nubuck upper is water-resistant for use in wet and dry conditions, while a breathable 3D mesh lining and SJ foam footbed with Airblaze moisture- and temperature-management technology help keep feet comfortable and dry throughout long shifts. The TLS dial closure allows the wearer to tighten or loosen the shoes quickly with one hand, even when wearing safety gloves.
Bnefits
- Metal-free, low-cut S3 safety shoe with ESD and SRC slip resistance for demanding work environments.
- TLS (Twist Lock System) dial closure allows quick one-handed tightening and loosening, even while wearing gloves.
- Composite safety toecap provides lightweight impact and compression protection without thermal or electrical conductivity.
- Anti-puncture textile midsole protects against underfoot penetration hazards.
- Water-resistant synthetic nubuck upper (WRU) suitable for wet and dry environments.
- Breathable 3D mesh lining and Airblaze technology for moisture and temperature management, keeping feet dry and comfortable.
- SJ foam removable footbed adds cushioning and allows the use of custom orthotic insoles.
- PU/PU outsole offers excellent slip resistance (SRC) and is resistant to oils and fuels (FO).
- ESD-certified footwear with controlled electrostatic discharge, suitable for environments with sensitive electronics.
- Unisex design with size range EU 35–48 (UK 3.0–13.0) for broad workforce fit.
Indications
- Protection of feet in industrial and commercial environments requiring S3 ESD SRC certified safety footwear.
- Use in logistics, warehousing, assembly, automotive, electronics, food industry and general manufacturing.
- Workplaces where metal-free footwear is required, such as facilities with metal detectors or specific security protocols.
- Environments where slip, puncture, impact and electrostatic discharge hazards are present.
- Users seeking quick, convenient closure that can be adjusted with one hand, including when wearing safety gloves.
Composition
- Upper: synthetic nubuck (water-resistant).
- Lining: breathable 3D mesh.
- Footbed: SJ foam removable insole.
- Midsole: anti-puncture textile (Kevlar-type penetration-resistant layer).
- Outsole: dual-density PU/PU (polyurethane) slip-resistant sole.
- Toecap: composite (glass-fibre–reinforced plastic, metal-free).
- Hardware: TLS (Twist Lock System) dial with high-strength cable/cord (non-metallic), eyelets and trims.
- All major safety components are metal-free for reduced weight and compatibility with environments requiring non-metal footwear.
Formulation
- Sporty, low-cut unisex safety shoe design (Flow S3 Low TLS model FLOWS3LTLS).
- Safety standard category: S3S / SR, SC, ESD, CI, FO (EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024) and ASTM F2413:2018.
- S3 ESD SRC classification: water-resistant upper, closed heel, anti-puncture midsole, composite toe, ESD and SRC slip resistance.
- Airblaze technology: integrated moisture and temperature management system in the lining and footbed.
- TLS (Twist Lock System) closure: dial mechanism providing uniform tension and secure, adjustable fit.
- Removable SJ foam insole to allow orthopaedic adjustment (3-Fit / orthopaedic compatibility as per Safety Jogger guidance).
Packaging
- Supplied as one pair of Flow S3 Low TLS safety shoes per retail box.
- Safety Jogger branded shoe box including size, model code FLOWS3LTLS, colour (black) and certification markings.
- Outer shipping cartons used by distributors (such as Medisave UK Ltd) may contain multiple retail boxes.
Usage
- Select the correct size using the manufacturer’s size guide (EU 35–48 / UK 3.0–13.0).
- Place feet into the shoes and ensure socks are appropriate for work conditions (e.g., moisture-wicking work socks).
- To tighten using TLS: press the dial in, turn clockwise until the desired tension is achieved and the shoe feels secure and comfortable.
- To loosen or remove: pull the TLS dial up to release tension, then open the shoe.
- Check that the composite toecap area is not compressed and that the shoe shows no visible damage before each use; replace if the toecap has sustained a significant impact.
- Use only in environments suitable for S3 safety footwear; do not use as mountaineering or sports shoes.
- Clean the upper regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary; do not use aggressive solvents that may damage the materials.
- Allow shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources (radiators, open flames, high heat) if they become wet.
- Replace the removable SJ foam insole periodically or if worn, and replace the shoes once the outsole or protective components are significantly worn or damaged.
Contraindications
- Not suitable as a substitute for specialist footwear where higher protection classes, dielectric insulation or chainsaw cut resistance are required.
- Not recommended for environments outside the certified S3/ESD/SRC scope (e.g., extreme heat beyond PU outsole specification, molten metal exposure).
- Individuals with known sensitivity or allergy to any shoe materials (e.g., synthetic leather, adhesives, foam, textiles) should use with caution or seek alternative products.
- Do not use if the shoe or TLS closure is visibly damaged, the sole is excessively worn or the toe cap has been structurally compromised by impact.
Adverse Effects
- Possible discomfort, blisters or pressure points if incorrect size is selected or shoes are not properly adjusted.
- Potential for foot fatigue if footwear is excessively worn or used beyond its intended service life.
- In rare cases, local irritation or contact dermatitis in users sensitive to specific synthetic materials, adhesives or linings.
Storage Conditions
- Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
- Keep away from direct heat sources or open flames to avoid deformation or damage to synthetic materials and PU outsole.
- Do not store under heavy loads or in a crushed position that could deform the toe cap or TLS mechanism.
- Allow shoes to dry completely before long-term storage if they have been exposed to moisture.
