Unisex mid-cut S3 ESD safety boot
Description
Flow Mid Unisex Lace-up Safety Boot - Black is a sporty, mid-cut S3 ESD safety boot from Safety Jogger, designed to be completely metal-free while offering reliable protection and all-day comfort. The boot features a water-resistant synthetic nubuck upper, a lightweight composite toecap, an anti-puncture textile midsole and a dual-density PU/PU outsole that is slip-resistant (SRC) and resistant to oils and fuels. A breathable 3D mesh lining and removable SJ foam footbed with Airblaze moisture and temperature management technology help keep feet dry and comfortable during long shifts. The Flow S3 Mid is ideal for professionals in logistics, electronics, assembly, automotive and general industry who require S3 ESD-certified, metal-free footwear with ankle protection.
Bnefits
- Mid-cut, metal-free S3 safety boot providing enhanced ankle protection with a sporty, modern design.
- Composite safety toecap delivers lightweight impact and compression protection without thermal or electrical conductivity.
- Anti-puncture textile midsole covers 100% of the bottom area for flexible yet reliable underfoot penetration resistance.
- Dual-density PU/PU outsole offers SRC slip resistance and is resistant to oils and fuels (FO), improving safety on wet or oily floors.
- Water-resistant (WRU) synthetic nubuck upper suitable for both wet and dry environments.
- Breathable 3D mesh lining and Airblaze technology provide moisture and temperature management, keeping feet dry and comfortable.
- Removable SJ foam footbed adds cushioning and allows use of custom or orthopaedic insoles.
- ESD-certified footwear with controlled electrostatic discharge, suitable for environments with sensitive electronics.
- Metal-free construction makes the boot lighter and convenient for workers who frequently pass through metal detectors.
- Unisex sizing range (EU 35–48) suitable for a wide variety of wearers in professional workplaces.
Indications
- Use as protective safety footwear in workplaces requiring S3 ESD SRC certified boots.

Usage
- Select the correct size using the manufacturer’s size guide (EU 35–48 / UK 3.0–13.0).
- Wear suitable work socks to optimise comfort and moisture management.
- Put on the boots and lace them evenly from toe to top; secure the laces firmly to provide good ankle support without restricting circulation.
- Before each use, inspect the boots for damage, including wear on the outsole, cuts in the upper, or deformation of the toecap or midsole.
- Do not continue to use the boots if the composite toecap has suffered a major impact or is visibly cracked or deformed; replace immediately.
- Clean the upper with a soft brush or damp cloth and mild soap; avoid aggressive chemicals or solvents that may damage synthetic materials.
- Allow boots to air dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources if they become wet.
- Replace the removable SJ foam footbed when worn out or if odour persists despite cleaning.
- Retire and replace the boots once the tread is significantly worn, the sole is cracked, or the protective components no longer meet safety requirements.
Contraindications
- Not intended for use in applications requiring specialised footwear beyond S3/ESD/SRC classification (e.g., foundry, molten metal, chainsaw protection or high-heat HRO applications).
- Not suitable where electrically insulating (EH) footwear is required; ESD footwear is designed to dissipate static electricity.
- Individuals with known sensitivity or allergy to synthetic leathers, adhesives, foams or textile components should use with caution or consult occupational health for alternatives.
- Do not use if the boots or safety components (toecap, midsole, outsole) are visibly damaged, excessively worn or compromised.
Adverse Effects
- Potential discomfort, blisters or pressure points if incorrect size is chosen or laces are improperly adjusted.
- Possible foot fatigue when used for extended periods if boots are worn beyond their service life or cushioning is degraded.
- Rare risk of skin irritation or contact dermatitis in users sensitive to specific synthetic materials, dyes, adhesives or lining fabrics.
Storage Conditions
- Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight to reduce fading and material degradation.
- Keep away from direct heat sources (radiators, heaters, open flames) to prevent deformation or damage to synthetic upper and PU outsole.
- Do not store under heavy loads or in a compressed state that could deform the toecap, heel area or overall boot shape.
- If boots are wet, allow them to dry completely at room temperature before long-term storage to prevent mould and odour.
