Description

The Profi-Birki Polyurethane Clog by Birkenstock is a professional occupational clog designed for demanding work environments such as hospitals, kitchens and the food industry. Made entirely from durable PU (polyurethane), it fully encloses the foot with a raised heel section and extended front, promoting a natural rolling motion and providing all-round protection. The nonslip PU sole is oil- and grease-resistant and offers reliable grip on smooth surfaces. For optimal hygiene, the clog is washable up to 80 °C while the removable, anatomically shaped PU footbed with fabric lining can be washed separately up to 60 °C and disinfected. All Profi-Birki models are certified occupational footwear in accordance with EN ISO 20347:2012 OB E (SRB category).

Usage

  • Select the appropriate size and width according to the manufacturer’s size chart and wear as occupational footwear.
  • Ensure the removable PU footbed is correctly seated before wearing.
  • For cleaning, remove the PU footbed from the clog.
  • Wash the clog body (PU shell) by hand or in an appropriate washer at temperatures up to 80 °C as per manufacturer guidance.
  • Wash the removable PU footbed separately at temperatures up to 60 °C; the footbed can also be disinfected if required.
  • Allow both clog and footbed to air dry completely away from direct heat sources before reassembly and use.
  • Inspect regularly for wear or damage to the sole or upper and replace if safety or comfort is compromised.
