Nitrile Powder-Free Examination Gloves (Non-sterile, medical grade)

Description

Aurelia Amazing nitrile powder-free examination gloves in size small are ultra-thin, finger-textured, non-sterile medical examination gloves made from latex-free nitrile. They are designed to be lighter and more flexible than standard nitrile gloves while still providing strong barrier protection, excellent tactile sensitivity and comfortable all-day wear. Each box contains 300 ice/blue-purple coloured gloves (270 in XL) packed by automated machinery for smooth single-glove dispensing, and the product is certified as a CE Class I medical device meeting EN 455 and related standards for medical and food-contact use.

Bnefits

  • Ultra-thin nitrile technology (approx. 2.0–2.2 mil) for very high tactile sensitivity and dexterity
  • Finger-textured finish for improved grip in dry and slightly wet conditions
  • 100% latex-free composition, suitable for users with latex allergy or sensitivity
  • Powder-free to reduce risk of powder-related irritation and contamination
  • High tensile strength and elongation, providing strong barrier protection despite thin gauge
  • 300 gloves per box (size S) for reduced packaging waste and fewer box changes in high-usage settings
  • Machine-packed for consistent glove presentation and easy single-glove dispensing
  • Beaded cuff and ambidextrous design to facilitate donning and reduce tearing at the cuff
  • Certified EN 455 medical glove and CE Class I medical device, suitable for clinical examination use
  • Tested for food contact (EN 1186), allowing safe use in food handling and catering
  • AQL 1.5 quality level for low pinhole rate and reliable barrier performance

Indications

  • Routine non-sterile medical examinations and procedures in healthcare settings
  • Dental examinations and dental hygiene procedures
  • Minor clinical procedures in GP, outpatient, nursing and veterinary practice
  • Use in medical aesthetics and dermatology clinics for injectable and non-invasive procedures where non-sterile examination gloves are appropriate
  • Handling of non-sterile medical devices and equipment requiring barrier protection
  • Laboratory work requiring disposable chemical-splash and biological barrier gloves within the limits of the tested EN 374 performance
  • Food handling and food preparation tasks where a certified food-contact glove is required
  • General-purpose protection in pharmaceutical, beauty & cosmetics and similar professional environments
  • Use by individuals who require a disposable, latex-free glove for hygiene and contamination control

Usage

  • Check the packaging for damage and confirm the product is within its stated expiry date before use.
  • Select the correct glove size (S for this product variant) to ensure proper fit and reduce risk of tearing.
  • Perform hand hygiene (wash and dry hands or use an appropriate hand sanitiser) before donning gloves.
  • Remove a glove from the dispenser box by the cuff, avoiding contact with multiple gloves where possible.
  • Insert hand into the glove and pull gently over the wrist using the beaded cuff; repeat for the other hand.
  • During use, avoid contact with sharp objects or highly aggressive chemicals beyond the glove’s tested EN 374 performance.
  • If a glove becomes torn, punctured, visibly soiled, or contaminated with blood or other potentially infectious material, remove and discard immediately and don a new pair.
  • Do not reuse, wash, or disinfect these gloves; they are intended and labelled for single-use only.
  • After completing the task or procedure, carefully remove gloves by peeling from the cuff and turning them inside out to avoid skin contact with contaminants.
  • Dispose of used gloves according to local regulations and facility infection-prevention policies (e.g., clinical waste streams where appropriate).
  • Perform hand hygiene after glove removal.
  • Store remaining gloves in their original box, folded closed to reduce exposure to dust, light and ambient contamination.

Contraindications

  • Known or suspected hypersensitivity or allergy to nitrile or any other components used in the glove formulation.
  • Situations requiring sterile gloves (e.g., sterile surgical procedures), as this product is non-sterile.
  • Use with chemicals, solvents or cytotoxic agents that exceed the glove’s tested permeation and degradation performance under EN 374; always consult the manufacturer’s chemical resistance data.
  • Use beyond the marked expiry date or if storage conditions have been grossly exceeded (e.g., severe heat, direct sunlight, moisture damage).

Adverse Effects

  • Local skin irritation or contact dermatitis in sensitive users due to prolonged occlusion or reaction to glove components.
  • Very rare hypersensitivity reactions to nitrile or residual processing chemicals (e.g., accelerators), which may manifest as redness, itching, or rash.
  • Inappropriate reliance on gloves without appropriate hand hygiene or other PPE may contribute to cross-contamination if not used according to infection-prevention best practice.
  • Excessive sweating or discomfort with prolonged wear, particularly in warm environments or during high-intensity tasks.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated environment away from direct sunlight and UV sources.
  • Avoid excessive heat; keep away from radiators, heaters and other sources of high temperature.
  • Keep away from ozone-generating equipment or strong oxidising chemicals to prevent material degradation.
  • Store in the original packaging until use to protect gloves from dust, moisture and environmental contamination.
  • Recommended storage temperature range is typically in the standard glove range (e.g., around 5–30 °C) as per manufacturer guidance, without freezing.
  • Do not store heavy items on top of glove boxes to avoid deformation or compression of the gloves.

Duration

Intended for short-term, single-use wear during the duration of a clinical examination, procedure or task; gloves should be changed between patients or when contaminated, damaged or after prolonged use.

Onset

Immediate barrier protection and grip enhancement upon successful donning of the gloves.
