Description

Cleenol Impact Antibacterial Hard Surface Cleaner - 750ml is a professional 3-in-1 hard surface cleaner designed to clean, sanitise and deodorise in a single operation. The ready-to-use perfumed cleaner removes a wide range of soils from most washable hard surfaces, leaving them clean, hygienic and pleasantly fragranced. It contains a light floral fragrance and is based on quaternary ammonium biocides and non-ionic surfactants, providing both cleaning power and antibacterial activity. The product is supplied in a 750ml trigger-spray bottle and is intended for professional use for general hard-surface disinfection in washrooms and other non-food-preparation areas.

Composition

  • QUATERNARY AMMONIUM COMPOUNDS, BENZYL (C12–C16) ALKYL DIMETHYL, CHLORIDES: 1–5% (biocidal active).
  • ALCOHOLS, C12–C14, ETHOXYLATED: 1–5% (non-ionic surfactant).
  • TURPENTINE, OIL: <1% (fragrance component).
  • Water and other non-classified ingredients to 100%.

Formulation

  • Clear blue liquid hard surface cleaner and sanitiser.
  • Perfumed with a light floral fragrance.
  • pH (concentrated solution): approximately 7.9.
  • Non-viscous, water-soluble solution based on quaternary ammonium compound and non-ionic surfactant system.
  • Antibacterial hard surface cleaner, supplied ready to use in trigger spray format.

Usage

  • For general hard surface cleaning and disinfection, apply the product via trigger spray directly onto the surface.
  • For heavy soiling, pre-clean if necessary, then spray the product evenly to wet the surface.
  • Allow an appropriate contact time; when diluted to 4% (30 ml per 750 ml) the product conforms to BS EN 1276, typically with a 5-minute contact time against specified organisms.
  • For MRSA control, use the product neat as indicated in manufacturer antimicrobial test data.
  • After the required contact time, wipe the surface clean with a cloth or mop; rinsing is advisable on surfaces that may be in prolonged contact with skin.
  • Do not use on food preparation surfaces or areas where food may be tainted by residual fragrance.

Contraindications

  • Not to be used in food preparation areas or on food-contact surfaces where tainting of food may occur.
  • Avoid use on surfaces that are not compatible with water-based detergents or quaternary ammonium compounds.
  • Do not mix with other cleaning agents or chemicals, particularly other disinfectants or strong oxidising agents.
  • Not intended for application to skin or for use as a hand or body cleanser.

Adverse Effects

  • Causes skin irritation on prolonged or repeated contact; appropriate gloves should be worn.
  • Causes serious eye damage; eye protection is recommended where splashing may occur.
  • Very toxic to aquatic life and toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects; avoid release to the environment.
  • Ingestion may be harmful and can cause irritation or damage to the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Inhalation of spray mists may cause respiratory irritation in poorly ventilated areas.

Storage Conditions

  • Store in the original, tightly closed container.
  • Store at temperatures between 0°C and 40°C in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep away from direct sunlight, extreme heat and freezing conditions.
  • Store out of reach of children and unauthorised persons.
  • Avoid release to the environment and store away from foodstuffs and animal feed.

Duration

Used as needed for routine and periodic cleaning and disinfection of hard surfaces; contact time for disinfection is generally around 5 minutes, depending on use pattern and local protocols.
