Description
Clinisept+ Podiatry 100ml Finger Spray is a professional hypochlorous-based antimicrobial foot care spray designed for use both in clinic and at home to maintain high levels of skin cleanliness and foot hygiene. The ready-to-use aqueous solution applies advanced hypochlorous technology to provide powerful antimicrobial protection while being completely skin compatible. It cleanses, deodorises and provides exceptional microbial control without stinging or irritation, even on sensitive or compromised skin. The spray soothes and calms the skin, reduces the appearance of redness and inflammation, and provides ideal conditions for rapid skin recovery following podiatry procedures. It is non-sensitising, leaves no residue or chemical burden, is alcohol- and chlorhexidine-free, and is suitable for all lower limb applications and for people prone to athlete’s foot, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis and diabetics. Usage
- Apply Clinisept+ Podiatry by spraying directly onto the skin of the feet or lower limb, or by wetting a clean gauze or cleansing pad and wiping over the area.
- Ensure the skin is thoroughly wetted at each application to achieve effective antimicrobial contact.
- Before podiatry treatment, apply to clean feet to provide optimal pre-procedure hygiene and deodorisation.
- During podiatry procedures, Clinisept+ Podiatry may be used as needed to cool, calm and cleanse sensitive areas, particularly where use of gauze alone may cause discomfort.
- After treatment, spray the treated area or apply with a soaked pad to keep the skin clean and to support rapid recovery.
- For maximum care of recovering or irritated skin, spray regularly or soak a gauze or pad with Clinisept+ Podiatry and leave in contact with the affected area for five to ten minutes, then remove. Repeat as necessary.
- For daily foot hygiene at home, spray 2–3 times per day, or as advised by a podiatrist, to keep irritated, itching or recovering skin cleansed and calm.
- Allow the solution to dry naturally on the skin where possible; excess may be gently absorbed with a clean gauze or pad.
- External use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes; in case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.
- If irritation or sensitivity occurs, discontinue use and seek advice from a healthcare professional.
Contraindications
- Do not use in individuals with known hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the ingredients (water, hypochlorous acid, phosphoric acid).
- For external use only; do not ingest.
- Avoid intentional or prolonged contact with eyes; if significant eye irritation occurs, rinse thoroughly and seek medical advice.
- Use with caution on very young children and follow professional advice; perform a patch test if skin sensitivity is a concern.
- Do not mix in the same container with other topical antiseptics or chemical agents unless directed by a healthcare professional.
