Surface Disinfectant Wipes / Hard Surface Cleaner
Description
Medipal PAL TX Surface Disinfectant Wipes (Tub of 1500) are market-leading, ready-to-use hard surface disinfectant wipes designed specifically for use on food contact surfaces and equipment in food manufacturing, processing and service environments. The wipes are alcohol free, QUAT free and PHMB free, and use a triamine-based active—N,N-bis(3-aminopropyl) dodecylamine—to provide highly effective broad-spectrum disinfection with low foaming and good performance even under protein load. They are Halal certified, food safe and suitable for professional use in high-risk hygiene areas. PAL TX wipes are manufactured using Tritex technology: a 100% synthetic, low-lint, multi-layer polypropylene material that offers high strength in both directions, excellent solution retention and efficient release of the active disinfectant, ensuring even wetness and reliable transfer of active ingredients to surfaces. The 1500-wipe tub format is ideal for high-throughput environments requiring frequent surface cleaning and disinfection, including food industry facilities, kitchens and clinical or aesthetic treatment areas where food-safe surface disinfection is required.
Bnefits

Usage
- For professional use only: Use by trained staff familiar with food hygiene and infection control procedures.
- Ensure the tub lid is properly opened according to the instructions and feed the first wipe through the dispensing aperture; reseal the lid after each use to prevent wipes from drying out.
- Remove one wipe from the tub and wipe the surface thoroughly, ensuring complete coverage and that the surface is visibly wet with the disinfectant solution.
- Pay particular attention to high-touch and contamination-prone areas such as handles, switches, preparation surfaces and equipment contact points.
- Allow the surface to remain wet for at least the minimum contact time required for the target organisms (typically at least 1 minute for many bacteria and yeasts; up to 5 minutes for some organisms and enveloped viruses, according to the product’s EN efficacy data).
- Do not rinse the surface after use unless required by local regulations, internal policies, or if the surface will come into direct contact with unpackaged food and rinsing is specified by the manufacturer or regulatory guidance.
- Use additional wipes as needed for larger surfaces, heavy soiling or where the wipe becomes visibly dirty before the area is fully treated.
- Discard used wipes in appropriate waste containers; do not flush wipes down toilets or dispose of in sinks or drains.
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves where indicated by workplace risk assessments or safety data sheets.
- Do not use on skin or for hand sanitising; these wipes are for surface disinfection only.
- Consult the product label and safety data sheet (SDS) for detailed instructions, compatibility information and specific EN standard contact times.
Contraindications
